Brainwashed.com: The Eye - Deerhunter

Listening to Deerhunter on record was no preparation for their intense live set. While they're making waves on the indie rock circut, watching them is more like witnessing a hybrid of Antony and Iggy Pop sing for Buzzcocks or Wire. Talking with Bradford Cox, the singer, was as entertaining as it was enlightening. It's no surprise he's been charming the world with his humorous openness and compelling live presence. Don't discount them as another disposable generic indie rock band without soaking in both the live performance and hilarious interview. They're all great people and I personally look forward to spending time with them again.

I remember in my HS years i used to walk around trails in the woods by my parent's house in Cville VA. I would often choose to listen to Deerhunter+Atlas Sound. hard to describe how those albums made me feel
