  • There a couple on the Medway that do this, and we thought, that looks like fun, so we bought an old wakeboard off of eBay and had a go. Unfortunately the bindings were so old and stiff that only Izzy could get her feet inside them so it was up to her to find out how it works... and she did a great job and had a lot of fun at the same time.
We make these films just for fun, and we hope that you have enjoyed watching them however we have been asked on a couple of occasions now if we have a Patreon account. We don’t want to do that at this stage as we feel it would turn the channel into a business, and as we said at the beginning, this is all just for fun. However if you would like to support us and feel you could help contribute to the cost of making these films then you can do that via our PayPal account here. A big thank you to everyone that has already done this, its a great help.

In the sixties we would surf (with a tow rope) behind a friends small motorboat and because we wanted to surf in the boats wake we would surf only a few feet behind the boats transom. A weeee bit tricky because the motor was a few feet away and we never wore life vests.

I always wanted to try this, but on a foiling board, I did not think a wakeboard would work with just 6knots 😅

Since releasing this film we are told that a foiling board is what people normally use.... but as you can see a wake board works as well. Have fun

You are missing the best bit!
As the surfer moves across from left to right, throw the yacht into a hard turn the other way.
The yacht mast leans out of the turn and gives a whiplash effect allowing the surfer to accelerate up to 20kts+ around the turn. On a larger yacht you can easily get airborne around the turn.
    It’s always been called bilgeboarding.
