    Assembly and Product Review
    We are using this product for knife making. Devil forges are available with a variety of options. Single, double or triple burners and with or without doors. This is one of the most affordable lightweight single burner units. Propane forges are great for heat treating or forging.
    This forge is small enough to be portable and yet still powerful with wide forge openings front and back. Includes Choke - with a single thumb screw for quick choke position adjustments. The interior of the forge is fully lined with 1 inch of ceramic blanket. The floor of the forge is made of ceramic brick, providing superior strength and durability.

    My wife bought me one as part of my 60th. The other part was a cruise going passed the Orkneys, hmm that won’t be happening. I have disabilities and only want to blade smith and I can’t even pick up large projects. I have mine mounted on one of those cheap metal router tables, lousy router table - great forge table. It’s the first forge I’ve ever used so I can’t compare it to anything else but it works for me.

    Great video, thank you. Just ordered this burner for my homemade propane tank forge, can't wait now. Never expected to be able to forge weld with it, I would have been happy to just be able to work steel and iron but with the possibility of doing my own forge welds and sorry to mention, demascus steel I am buzzing over this haha. Thanks again, without this video I would probably be umming and aahing over buying it for another year!

    Nice! And for the price there's just nothing to say against it besides the fact that my wife is going nuts when she saw the flames coming out :) she hates my hobbies :)

    Put a fire break behind it to hold in heat and keep flame out the back, works better for me.

    • @blitzbc5689
      @blitzbc5689 Před 3 lety +1

      If you have a full 20LB tank and use a 1 burner forge, it will take about 6 hours to run out of fuel, but I am not sure as to how to tell how much you have left.

      @Abdul Rahman Why? As long as you're not running your propane line near either end it will be fine.

    I was considering buying one, and the larger ones are a bit out of my price range. Is it feasible to weld two smaller ones together to use as one? Or maybe insulate the connection with heat brick? Also thanks for the video. Best regards.

    Do you think it is worth paying more to get the double burner if the single burner works well?

    • @DIYeasycrafts
      @DIYeasycrafts  Před 4 lety +2

      Double burner works better for longer blades. Really only depends on what size knives you are going to make

    • @quochuync
      @quochuync Před 4 lety

      DIYeasycrafts I’m a total beginner and will probably start with pocket knives and a single burner would do but if I ever stick with the hobby and want to go further with something like machete or swords then I guess it’s better if I get a double burner from the start. The three burner models are out of budget for now
