Devil Forge Furnace Unboxing, Setting Up & First Fire

  • In this video I’m unboxing the Devil Forge. I paint it with the refractory coating rigidizer for the ceramic blanket, put it all together and fire it up for the first time. Note: I’m not a professional and this is the first time I have done anything with a furnace. I did have the gas turned up a bit to high when I was firing it. So if you try this at home don’t do what I did in this video. No hair was lost in the making of this video.
    This will be a series of videos showing all of the products I purchased to get started backyard pouring of bullion and art pieces.
    The only thing that did not come with this package was the Teflon tape, the container and stick to mix the rigidizer.

      Lmao I guess I could have explained it better. Just figured it was common sense. The clamp goes on the hose tighten with screwdriver. 😂 I was so excited to fire it up! Fire Fire Fire! Yeeeah!

      I was looking at electric but this thing will not go down like the electric do. At some point you will need to buy components for it. I just didn’t want to worry about it. I’m in southern Maryland so the winters don’t get blow freezing all that much. Thanks for watching!

    Hey man love the vid, after 2 years do you still recommend this furnace for someone wanting to start out?

    • @CapitalCurrency
      @CapitalCurrency  Před měsícem +1

      I use it every Tuesday & Thursday when I livestream. I love it because it melts silver fast. But it can’t be used if it’s raining. I think I’m about to get an electric furnace now so I can work in my shed when it rains. The problem with electric is it takes 30-40 minutes to melt as opposed to 10 minutes with this devil forge.
