If Anthropoid is compared with Operation Day Break then I must comment that the 2nd one was much more superior from every angle.Those who missed ODBreak I must request them to see the movie and then compare.
The film Anthropoid is not as dramatic as previous depictions but is far more accurate historically. Films such as Operation Daybreak are 'Hollywoodised' such as having the two main protagonists, Jan Kubis and Joseph Gabcik being the final characters left forced to commit suicide in the last scene. Kubis, in reality, was one of the three men who died in the prayer loft before the Nazis found the other four in the crypt. Kubis was actually still alive when the Nazis got to him; he was unconscious after suffering several wounds sustained after being hit by shrapnel from a grenade but bled to death in the ambulance taking him to hospital. Another inaccuracy from Operation Daybreak is Karel Curda, the traitor, being the signal man at the assassination attempt, catching the sun's reflection in his mirror alerting both Kubis and Gabcik to Heydrich's arrival. This job was actually undertaken by Joseph Valcyk with Adolf Opalka intentionally walking in front of the Mercedes to slow Heydrich's driver down even further at the hairpin bend. I think all the films depicting events are excellent and it's entirely subjective which are better than others but I particularly love Anthropoid due to the director's adherence to historical fact.

An original book called 7 Men at Daybreak by Alan Burgess is an authentic account of the story. I read it years back In a short You Tube Film of the same name what is poignant to me is the huge sacrifice and loss of life and cost within the entire resistance network . A few breaches of security and the entire network collapses with huge cost. Few survived. Anthropoid was interesting as the likeness of the actor to Heydrich affected strange authenticity to the Assassination scene

I can't recall is Anthropoid is a direct remake of the older movie, but I found the older versions ending better.
