Note that all 2022+ T7s use a different (Euro 5) cable that has 6 pins instead of 4.

My good sir, thank you very, very much for this. I’ve been scratching my head lately and contemplating if I should bring my bike to the dealer and pay 200$ for them to run the diagnostic tool, which is the last step on the first service that I cant do myself. You answered my question, that if theres no ‘check engine light’, theres no code to be read- THANK YOU.
If I could be so bald and suggest topic for videos, it would be more service related stuff with the T7, those will not only be of very much help, but also popular.
Again, thank you, you’re a good man!

Hi Jay, as far as I know my dealer also records the mileage on the first service an any subsequent service. They do this in order to ensure that the maintenance schedule is kept during the warranty service.
As far as I know, it is not compulsory to service your bike at the dealers to keep the warranty but it will depend on location (I'm in Europe) and definitely don't take my word for it.
I've been doing loads of maintenance lately and most of it is on Instagram as I didn't have a time to do the video, you can check it out in my Maintenance highlights:
      instagram.com/stories/highlights/18123101032202120/
I'll probably turn it into the video at some point.

      @@FARANDFURTHER Thanks for your reply!
I’m too in Europe (Norway). I’ve researched this quite a bit, but not 100% sure - if one have receipts of doing oil changes etc, it wont void the warranty. Not sure, but I’ll take the gamble, its a Yamaha and I treat it like my son, except tossing it around in the mud!
Oh thats too bad, I’m not on Instagram any more (best decision ever), but I can use my wifes. Hopefully they will turn into videos, that would have been awesome!
      Best regards!

    Hi.
    I have a question.
Is it possible to use this setup and configuration for a dashboard, for rpm's, engine temperature and so on?
I would like to use it for dmd2.
    Greetings from Germany! ✌️

Are you going to do a review on the LSAdventure Phone Kit? You are the only english speaking owner I know and the it looks very interresting. I would like to know how it is performing so far. There seems to be a version 3.3 on the market. How is the durability and usbalility in terms of plug and play on everyday usage?

Hey, I'm using the LSAdv phone mount for more than a year. I got it because of Dinaric rally where I needed something strong to hold my phone.
And it did and does till now. I've been using it heavily and I have also crashed it few times so it did bend (no phone inside) and it was enough just to bend it back into shape.
I'm not using the lock as I just pop the phone out easily and take it with me and that can be even done with one hand.
So far the phone didn't fall off during riding. It popped out only once when I crashed because the locking knob released the clamp due to the energy of the fall.
When one combines it with the wireless charging it is pretty good solution. Although my iPhone 6 has trouble with wireless charging so something a bit more modern would be good. Or just use cable.

Hi, do you know if the cable adaptor are the same for the Euro 4 and Euro 5 version of the bike? Thanks for everything.! In my opinion Your video are the best resources I found on the web about the T7.
    Thank you again. Paolo

Hi Paolo, thanks for your kind words, I'm really glad it is useful to the people.
I can't verify if the cable is the same but I'm about 99% positivie it is. It is same plug on many many Yamaha motorcycles and there is really no reason to change it for Euro 5.
