Here's the thing that is different, they didn't just bring in players that are good. They brought in Leaders, Matured, Experienced BALLERS, paired with an ascending young team. First game is going to be surreal.

Then he proceeded to strip the team and screw over the young talent on the team!! Giving Fields the least amount help in the league and expect him to do everything. Then when the team is about to make the turn you trade Fields for nothing only to draft the same player!
The Bears could have kept Fields, traded the picks and land 2-3-star quality players including a generational talent like Marvin Harrison Jr.

Poles and his people have done a great job the last couple of years in the draft. In putting a very good foundation and building blocks together. I believe he's added a great group of guys to the roster from free agency this year. Exciting times looking good Chicago up BEAR DOWN 💯🐻🏈 It just feels right we all deserve it he's has more hits only missed on couple

I was pretty hyped beginning of last year actually drinking the kool-aid and thinking the bears had a shot at the playoffs. Boy was I wrong. Not expecting much until the bears actually prove they can consistently win and make the playoffs.
Transplant from KC here in Chicagoland. Super excited to see the Bears turn it up this year. Love what Poles is doing and hope for much success!

Poles has done a fantastic job so far! Adding important pieces to the puzzle and the draft. With a new QB, new offensive coordinator, and the defense hungry we’re on our way! We have a lot of work to do this off season, it’s a tough league and they’re not going to give us anything but I can’t wait to see the finished product. It’s a great time to be a Bears fan and it’s gonna be a great ride!
Thought the same thing last year. Bought the hype and the kool-aid. Was very difficult. Especially with the little return in the Justin trade. This bears fan learned his lesson and aint expecting much until the bears actually make the playoffs!

Fields didn’t play good enough to earn a contract… it was never fields vs Caleb it’s more 1 year left on rookie contract compared to a reset… don’t get me wrong fields was fun to watch but would you rather have fields for 50 mil a year or dj Moore, Montez, Keenan, and a cheap rookie… it had to happen

Considering it’s been downhill at QB since Cutler and Fields was statistically/factually worse than Mitch, Caleb will have to be all time bad NOT to raise the bar. Growing pains, of course - Mahomes said he couldn’t read a defense in year 1. Rest assured, he’ll be the best QB we’ve ever had since the last one we had was 80 years ago!
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what he's capable of. MOST franchises would be freaking out over getting him.

Poles wanted the chance to draft his own franchise QB. Justin was drafted by Ryan Pace. I don’t think we ever gave Justin the best talent or opportunities to succeed, but there were things that needed cleaning up within his game and mechanics that didn’t get cleaned up. I think Poles respected Fields enough to take a lower pick to put Justin in a situation where he was truly wanted. Mike Tomlin will give Fields a chance to compete for the job and learn with Russ. Other teams were not going to start Justin or even consider him for a starting job. I’m trying to trust the process on this. I liked Justin and I wanted him to be our QB, but we have a huge opportunity to flip this franchise potentially. I want to see what this looks like.
