Definitely gonna see a display of skills from both fighters with either a K.O. early on or a decision after a hell of a battle in my opinion. Either way I’m excited for this one.
I can’t see Jon being strong enough to dominantly wrestle Cyril. Worst thing for Jon was Cyril losing to Francis because of his lack of wrestling. Guaranteed he’s been working hard on his takedown defense and wrestling in general. Hope it’s a good fight!
Based off what? Jones is a freak and was stronger than most heavyweights when he was a LHW. All he has done for the last 3 years is work out, get bigger and stronger. He is gonna tear through the heavyweight division
I have a prediction that Henry's to huto over the next 15-20 years will be one of the best if not the best coaches in the game I think he's truly outstanding in his coaching ability is meticulous attention to detail and his ability to communicate his points his points simply and effectively to his fighter!
Thinking that Ciryl Gane is a tougher match up for Jones is kinda crazy. Sure he moves better but Jones wont be terrified of closing the distance. He doesn't have crazy overwhelming strength that can stuff technique, his striking ability is the only real problem for Jones but Jon pressing him against the cage should cover that. Jones couldn't get away with all of that against Ngannou.
Gane is easy to take down, Francis is by far the scariest guy Jon could fight. Legit KO power both hands, very good take down defense so you have to stand with him. He is so dangerous.
@@SWIFTzTrigger Gane isn't easy to take down. His TDD prior to the Ngannou fight reflected that. Gane just didn't expect that from Ngannou, and Ngannou just muscled him down because he's SO STRONG. I don't see Jon being able to take him down shooting traditional takedowns but I could be totally wrong and I can't wait to see this fight. ✌🏾🤟🏾
Just a note about the Francis/Cyril fight is that maybe Cyril was surprised by the wrestling, he didn’t expect it. Which could’ve hindered his performance on the ground or lack of preparation for it. Just a thought, don’t see a lot of people saying it. But as always there’s levels to MMA and I believe Jon will do his work on the ground.
Not going to lie I got so much respect for Muhammad this man has earned his stripes and more I'm seriously rooting for him to get a title shot 💯💪he deserves it
Me too fam. After all the disrespect he has been getting all this years from the fans, calling him 💤 and cringy whenever he speaks. The guy has a lot of passion for fighting unlike other fighters who just wanna pay bills and get a little bit of money before they retire. I hope he gets 2 more wins and makes it 10 straight wins, then gets his title shot and BANG, CHAMPION.
This is the only fight I'm betting against Jones. Jones been out for nearly 3 years no way in hell he'll beat prime Gane unless Dana pays him to do so.
Really an intriguing fight. Jones with his creative striking, coming up in weight, ring rust, etc. And Gane being the naturally bigger guy and with an impressive striking background, an aboslute must watch fight
I think ppl forget Jon Jones is a natural heavyweight. Both of his older brothers are defensive lineman in the NFL. They talked about how much weight he used to cut to make LHW. I'm not concerned about any type of size or strength difference as a HW. My only concern is the ring rust.... I'm def intrigued by this matchup. Wish we heard about his sparring sessions since he converted to HW
@@yogeshcyr31 I don't disagree, but lanky doesn't necessarily mean that they're stronger. Remember Cormier, a world class wrestler who also fought at HW, commented that Jones is freakishly strong as a grappler. That lankiness might help him in certain ground positions and allow him to attack in ways a HW might not be used to defending. Ultimately we'll see how it plays out cuz I def think the ring rust is the biggest factor
Francis naganou has a devastating hit but not only that. If you watch the stipe fight, we see him sprawling and stuffing shots. People think Francis is a one trick pony until he beats the people they say he can't beat.
Bones took off 3 years to bulk up. I'm curious how well he'll be able to keep the weight and mass on through a full camp. Jon has always relied on a decent gas tank. You'd have to assume that he wants to carry that same style up to hw. Whether its intentional or not... will he lose muscle during those 3 months? Also... cereal is a very mobile hw. That extra bulk may not serve its purpose like it would have against Francis. I dunno man... I was A LOT more excited to see Francis vs bones. But I'm still tuning in. Bones will be shooting and feinting take downs the entire fight.
Timing and use of reach is going to be real important for jones. If he can keep distance long enough hes good. If that isnt working out, his timing on his shoots will be real important
Ganes beat ngannous striking for both insignificant and significant , if it werent for the takedowns gane mightve won that fight. Either way the gane ngannou fight was a rare chess match between heavy weights and I expect to see it at x10 with jones & gane. The fight iq is insane here
Belal Muhammad is the equivalent to playing the ufc 4 video game but you actually did the CZcams video and game tutorials grappler and ground game. He beats cans but won’t beat people who knows what they’re doing. Sean Brady never beat anyone he’s a pure striker but people forget when you are a striker vs wrestler that anxiety thinking you might get took down eliminates some of your striking
@You've Got a Type So much about this thought process is just wrong 🤣. One saying Lewis handled Curtis is such a gross misrepresentation of what happened. Lewis got a one punch KO after getting his ass handed to him on the feet like the Volkov fight. If we're talking about what Jon could do to replicate Derrick's performance, it's infinitely more likely Jones gets his ass handed to him in the standup than landing a one punch KO.
@@lastdefenderofxhotl oh yeah so much wrong? You didn't say anything about Jones' wrestling/grappling experience. I didn't say a one punch KO. Think about Jones beating Cormier 2x - and DC is a far better wrestler than Blaydes (and probably a better striker as well). Blaydes will bring zero eyes to a PPV - so this fight will never happen anyway since it's a business first and foremost.
@You've Got a Type I didn't talk about the wrestling/grappling because this matchup will almost certainly be decided on the feet, like basically every fight between two high-level wreslters/grapplers Which to be clear favors Curtis because he's a deceptively good striker in exactly the ways we've seen cause Jones problems. If you want to bring up Jones history with DC cool. Just remember DC explicitly stated he did not want to face Curtis Blaydes after beating Stipe despite the fact Curtis was the clear cut number 1 contender, and instead was only up for defending against Lewis. DC is a far better credentialed wrestler outside MMA, but he's definitely not drastically better at utilizing wrestling than him inside it. Jones hasn't been particularly effective at utilizing his wrestling at all recently, and if we want to talk credentials outside MMA, Curtis and Jon are both American JUCO Champs.

Been scrolling through a few comments to find a time stamp lol
I have a prediction that Henry's to huto over the next 15-20 years will be one of the best if not the best coaches in the game I think he's truly outstanding in his coaching ability is meticulous attention to detail and his ability to communicate his points his points simply and effectively to his fighter!
Coming back to this video it’s crazy how quick Jones finished the fight
I actually agree with Belal . Curtis Blaydes is being overlooked. I definitely believe he will be champ one day.
Belal loves Curtis since they’re both from Chicago lol
Now that Francis is out probs lol
He has a punchers chance. Tom Aspinall is better IMO
@@slobodanjevtovic7102 i agree, tom is much more skilled and faster
I’m on board the Blayde Train too! Man is as much of a menace as he’s ever been.
@@mikko3 Exactly, Jones last fight was Dominick Reyes & he lowkey lost that fight.
@@Ancient_Tribesman
He's getting old. That doesn't matter so much at heavy.
@@richardgallagher4880Tf are you talking about😂😂😂 make your comment make sense
I hope Francis comes back, he's fun to watch. I want to see Francis vs Lesnor.
Can't wait for Jon Jones!
Brock is too old now. But I hope Francis comes back too
And too juicy...
@@FlexFactory he can still beat most of fighters in heavyweight category...
Jones can’t even hold down smaller reyes. This ain’t the old jones
Dude jones ain’t losing to a guy that started training at 24
@@arjenrobbed1294 that prediction aged like milk
Never thought i'd see Belal Muhammad on Joe Rogan's podcast...
Ngannou will come back after a couple years for a mega matchup with Jon Jones
When they are both 50
Jones will be done fighting by the time that happens, he doesn't have much time left
@@doggydeeds both of them will be done, ngannou is older than jones
He's still going to be in a restrictive contract no matter where he goes. I don't see him coming back.
It's Anderson vs GSP all over again... Its not gonna happen
Good point Balal, you bring up a great point. Cyril does move very well.
Why do you not post the full Podcasts on YT anymore? Where could i find the full videos?
Don’t sleep on Stipe , is all I gotta say.
cant wait for this fight guys !!!😊😊😊😊
Ciryl Gane vs Tom Aspinall is the match I'd want to see. Two HWs that move like MWs on top of being well rounded fighters.
Tom's not getting enough mentions in these conversations, he is up there and deserves the winner of these 2.
Unless stipe comes back, maybe stipe v Tom then the winner
Not going to lie I got so much respect for Muhammad this man has earned his stripes and more I'm seriously rooting for him to get a title shot 💯💪he deserves it

Why do so many people have a har don for Elon?
Yeah I have much respect for belal but Leon's my boy. From my home town too so can't go against him
@@goodlove9421 it's fake. Jo wasn't asking Elon those questions and someone has edited elon responding to it. Fake news
Whenever I'm bored I watch Belal Mohammed fights to cheer myself up
Man I love Belals fights!
They’re great to fall asleep! 🐐🔥
belal would definitely put you to sleep
with his arm around you BETA KUCK necks
This is the only fight I'm betting against Jones. Jones been out for nearly 3 years no way in hell he'll beat prime Gane unless Dana pays him to do so.
Shout out JRE🔥
All we know is Jon signed a 8 fight deal. I imagine he’s gonna be active these next couple years. I’m excited for us
hope he loses all of them
I'm too this well be so exciting
Khabib In Belal’s corner was the greatest asset for him.. I was shocked when he TKod Brady lol
Amazing podcast! Please have more MMA podcasts, please have Big John McCarthy and Josh Thomson together!!!!
The Heavyweight division is finally fully stacked again, it reminds me of early 2000's Pride!
This aged poorly.
Belal's fights put me to sleep faster than an ambien
Same his last fight was good though he's getting better. KO'd Sean Brady that's no joke
Casual
His last fight was entertaining tbf
You don’t know anything
Shit watch his debut fight against Alan joban. It was amazing. I was a fan of him ever since. They both took so much damage in that fight
Really an intriguing fight. Jones with his creative striking, coming up in weight, ring rust, etc. And Gane being the naturally bigger guy and with an impressive striking background, an aboslute must watch fight
Jones ain’t losing to a guy who started training at 24
@@Brascobadboy we'll see
We saw, and he didn’t lose.
Love your show, im your fan since News Radio. Now im not in agrement with 100% of your views but i will continue watching your conversations
Interesting to see how everything turns out 🤷🏿♂️
I think ppl forget Jon Jones is a natural heavyweight.
Gane and Ngannou are much bigger and natural unlike jon who is a little lanky
@@yogeshcyr31 I don't disagree, but lanky doesn't necessarily mean that they're stronger. Remember Cormier, a world class wrestler who also fought at HW, commented that Jones is freakishly strong as a grappler. That lankiness might help him in certain ground positions and allow him to attack in ways a HW might not be used to defending. Ultimately we'll see how it plays out cuz I def think the ring rust is the biggest factor
If Jones beats Gane, I hope the UFC resigns Francis Ngannou.
@@razrsliq7623 wym
@@just_2swift Cyril is crazy good. Only lost to Francis. So if Gane cant beat Jon, who can.
Francis naganou has a devastating hit but not only that. If you watch the stipe fight, we see him sprawling and stuffing shots. People think Francis is a one trick pony until he beats the people they say he can't beat.
Awesome guest
Cyril also had that backwards up elbow against derrick lewis that was clean against the fence
UFC didn’t “release” Francis. He fought out his contract.
"he's the russian fedor" 😂
Trevor is an amazing coach as well
Bones took off 3 years to bulk up.
"Cereal" ha! Is that Gane's new nickname?
@@rbarbetta1978 i noticed a lot of people writes it that way 😂 probably autocorrect
Francis in slap wars would be insane. There should be a sport instead of slapping to sock someone as hard as you can in the face or liver.
Thats a horrible idea 🤣
Called boxing
these "sports" are great evidence of the dumbing down of society. Imagine entering a slap contest-how desperate do you have to be for money-hilarious.
@@2011hwalker we are humans , human combat has been entertaining basically our whole history.

Timing and use of reach is going to be real important for jones. If he can keep distance long enough hes good. If that isnt working out, his timing on his shoots will be real important
Belal Muhammad sure knows how to make me wanna tune out
1st round 2:04
Ganes beat ngannous striking for both insignificant and significant , if it werent for the takedowns gane mightve won that fight. Either way the gane ngannou fight was a rare chess match between heavy weights and I expect to see it at x10 with jones & gane. The fight iq is insane here
Why can't i find new episodes of jre in Spotify. The podcast aren't being updated since that barstool guy . Are there any solution
There's literally no one else after Ciryl, Stipe, and Sergie... short to-do list. Man we need Francis back.
Toughest fight for Jon at HW is Blaydes and no one's even remotely interested apparently. Sucks to be Blaydes man lol
@@lastdefenderofxhotl Meh Blaydes got handled by Lewis and Jones has WAY better grappling/wrestling than Lewis.
