The best video for using the Ricks loom. This lady is an expert and takes us from start to finish on the bracelet.
You have such a clear and pleasant voice. This is a very clear and informative video. Thank you for sharing.
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen out of four that I previously looked at. Thank you for showing us on how to add on thread when running out.
Good clear instructions and lovely work. My Riki Loom arrived yesterday.

We are so glad our video was helpful to you! Happy looming!
You have such a lovely voice. I enjoy listening to your videos.
I had tried this loom a few years ago when I started bead weaving and because I like weaving wide cuffs, I found the tension was difficult to maintain. Looks like if you're working with a more reasonable number of beads, your results will be much more successful than mine. Jill, once again, fabulous video. Inspiring, as always. :-)
Why is this loom better than other ones please? You make it look soo easy
Hi Hazel. A lot of people love this loom because there are less warp threads to deal with after you are done looming. Traditional looms would have threads coming out between each bead in your design. This loom leaves only the two outer warp threads, so you don't have to deal with messy tangles of thread at the end of your design. It is also very easy to use, since you can set 40 warps in less than five minutes.
Luv Artbeads and looming is My Passion
Me encanta, preciosa pulsera
Have you tried the clover beading loom
I loved this but would have even more had you worked with white under your work so could see the threading better👍❤️
I have a different one for my first time I did 2 beads friendship bracelet it came out beautiful I like the one you made is beautiful too what I want to know what size beads you using I used a 6/0 but I fine it kind of wide when I finish but it came out so beautiful too I really like the way you made it with the button I use the tie and I use glue at the ends with the Metal attachment and it holds with the jewelry glue this will be my hobby 😬 to keep me busy I really enjoy making them I also do wuu crochet hand bags and slippers out of flip-flop 😬 I love to keep myself busy 😬 thank you again for sharing your work is beautiful 🤩
Hi Joy, thank you for your kind words! We are using 8/0 seed beads for this bracelet. You can find full instructions and a supplies list for the bracelet made in this video here: artbeads.com/design-studio/desert-trail-loomed-bracelet-seed-bead-pattern/

Do you work all the time from the top or the bottom of the weft threads when weaving in (when adding new thread)????
Wish I could learn this
Halo donde consigo ese telar
I love everything about this video including your necklace. Is there somewhere to find the pattern?
Yes, you can find the tutorial here: artbeads.com/design-studio/delia-herringbone-pendant-with-forget-me-not-flower-beads/
Hi there!
What happens if I have made my loom length longer than my pattern is and have about have an inch xtra at the end? Spacing the beads will show too much and also will make the bracelet too long to fit. Thank you ❤️
I think you can just stop looming where you want the length to be, you'll just have longer warp threads to finish off. Here's another tutorial on how to finish thread while looming: artbeads.com/design-studio/how-to-finish-bead-looming-thread/
I love your videos but I'd love it even more if you all would put your microphones up higher because you all have such soft voices that it's hard to hear.
Sure looks fun. Enjoying all the videos :) Do you loom patterns ? I've shopped at Art Beads I just started watching all the very fun videos. Thank you for really nicely explained videos. ~~ :) ~~
Hi Cindy. We do offer free loom jewelry patterns in our Design Studio, like this Desert Trail bracelet: www.artbeads.com/design-studio/desert-trail-loomed-bracelet-seed-bead-pattern/ Just use the search term "loom" and choose the Design Studio tab to see them all!
Thank you Artbeads. I will take a look at your videos and patterns. I'm working on the Leather bracelet with seed beads and jump rings at the moment :)
How do you make sure, that the top pass with the needle is going over and not under the warp thread. I get done with a project and see beads that I have missed? And what do youdo when you find that a bead that has already been sewn in, is either smaller or larger than the rest of the beads?
Hi there! You might find the warp separator card in this accessory pack helpful: www.artbeads.com/jewelry-supplies/ricks-beading-loom-accessory-pack-tool-0221/ You can put the card between the warp threads for better visibility when working. Using a magnifier like the Optivisor will also help you see exactly what you are doing. Find it here: www.artbeads.com/jewelry-supplies/optivisor-2-1-2x-at-8-inches/. If you find that a bead is either smaller or larger than the rest of the beads in your loomwork, you can remove it, but it's a little tricky. What you want to do is weave in a new thread, securing any of the threads that would be damaged if you were to cut the bead out. Then, you want to break the bead in question. You can do this using pliers. If you think that this process will damage your warp threads, do not attempt. Once you've broken the bead out, snip the thread where the bead was, and weave in a new bead. Again, make sure to weave the new thread to secure any of the snipped threads. I hope this makes sense!
Thanks, love the video
Does embroidery floss work for bead weaving
Hi Marie! For something like this, I think embroidery floss would be too fragile and it would easily knot and fray while working. It might make an interesting addition to something like our Kantha bracelet, though: artbeads.com/design-studio/kantha-loom-seed-beads-ribbon-fibers-bracelet/ and it's great for thread wrapping: artbeads.com/artbeads-cafe/thread-wrapping-video/
