Yes, but I use wood filler and sand it down before painting and it hides it

It depends on the style. If you need an arch to go all around, probably 8 feet

Do you remember what size screws you used for the metal brackets? Also , did you get the brackets Home Depot or Lowe’s too? Thanks!
I got the brackets at home depot, but I have bought them at Walmart before.
I am not sure what size screws I used. I just found ones that would not go through the flat washer.

Where did you get your templets? because I've been trying to make backboard drops.
No templates. The video tells you all the measurements. You just need 2 measurements ( height and width)
