- Full build log of how to tear down a gopro to turn into to a naked or "Bones GoPro". The teardown wasn't actually as hard and terrible as some make it seem and once you've done it it doesn't seem nearly as impossible anymore.
The GEPRC case is amazing and make sure you look for the pitfalls in the video to make sure you don't make any of the same mistakes I do namely the black bars on the side of the front screen!

Stay tuned in just wrapped an AOS UL7 7" LR build. This thing is sick, uber light and a total floater... Added and O3 unit but with my v2 goggles and resolution is so much more crisp and range gahhh
Is there also a mounting point on the back of the GoPro available?
Yes, there's a little mounting point, but they don't really provide you with the TPU connection pieces. So you either need to 3-D print them yourself or you could buy something on Etsy or people already have them designed and printed.
Hey so I did this with a gopro hero 12 as the Geprc website says this kit is compatible with the 12. However when I turn it on there is no signal from the camera, when I also press the record button it turns off the GoPro
Does that naked gopro have bluetooth or anything that interfere signal?
There is Bluetooth so you can still use the app to connect, it's not 100%...Flywoo just came out with a new case that's been updated. It cost a little bit more but it's worth checking out as it still has an option to save the backscreen and use it easily with the naked gopro

maybe 60-90min while referencing a video while creating this video...just like youd be doing... should be quicker a 2nd time since youll have gone through most of it before ;)
Does it still have recording audio?
Nope, no audio unfortunately. For FPV, it's really not that big of a deal for me, but I could see for other action sports where you want. Some of the background sound that could be a bit of a nuisance.

Do you have a 3-D printer? I had to put together some pieces from thingverse for GoPro mounts and the naked hero mount. I actually don't like this mount, i need to make another one... I feel like the camera such a little too high comparative to the quad camera.... But if you still want the file I can upload it to thingverse?
@@bennie1198 nice, looks like a clean 3d cage, im sure youll be happy. for a regular quad i wouldnt fret so much, for my pavo25 as mentioned I want to get the camera an inch lower so the perspective matches my flight better, and less over head to catch thing ;)
@@LifeofAccro Right! I am also flying the pavo25 but that 3d print above did the trick. keeps it low and allows me to quickly switch between drones on a shoot. I hate having to use tools every time I go from my Pavo to my cinewhoop. Thank you for your replies!

@@teftagjini3438 I did get it connected but returned it after I found out I couldn’t update firmware. You will need to have raw battery connection to do so and GepRC did not leave any extra parts from the tear down to do so. 😟
