Olaf Gutfrithson King of Dublin was a Dane as was ivar of the UI imar dynasty.
The Analls of the four masters states
The Dughgal the Danes made a great slaughter of the Fingal the Norwegians and burned their ships .
The Vikings Brian Boru fought were mostly Danes .
The Danes were in clondalkin and Kilmainham.
To say they were mostly Norwegians is wrong .
