Webinar: Pump up the heat. A look at Germany’s strong push for clean heating.

From January 2023, Germany - Europe's largest heat pump market - will be supported with a subsidy scheme. In particular, the federal government increased incentives by 5% for heat pumps working on natural refrigerants, a first-of-its-kind signal to the market. Moreover, subsidies for heat pumps working on fluorinated gas will be phased out by 2028.
In conversation with Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH) - one of the most active German civil society actors in this field - the webinar explored the development of this legislation and the possible impacts to look out for.
