- They have a unique set of skills for a soldier: the ability to cook and hence to sustain hundreds of SAF's soldiers posted overseas. They might not fight at the front line, but they are just as important in fighting to boost the morale of our soldiers.

Maybe during peacetime, their vocation may not look as important like those guys in frontlines unit to some people but when during war or peacekeeping missions, they are very important.
definitely a unique & impt vocation!
@fah85 The Medics and The Cooks are the most important from the point of view of combat soldiers. Both are held in VERY high esteem by actual, real fighting soldiers!
Even though the vocation might look relax and slack, it is very important.
No more Cooks already. Now got the combat ration and the private restaurants in camp
Cookhouse don’t count
I think the on screen feedback near the end of the video was politicaly correct but im sure the soldiers would still appreciate the warm meals like they said.
I never seen them cook in my entire army life
Still have to wear ilbv when cooking?
Wah, good food in the Army now!
Cook is important, for morals ,money and ration are requirements in the living ,bed room ( barrack),prayer room for Muslim soldier, cook house, and logistic element are important
