Great vid, So glad you put Baht prices and not just USD like so many seem to do as its confusing for us people not from the U.S. Subscribed.
🙏🏽
Thank you for the informative video. Loved the information provided and the editing and music. I am planning for my retirement in 12 months and this provided a lot of great information and guidance to me.
I did notice a little goof in the price graphics -- Cell phone listed as $900 a month! Just drop the zeros I think... right? 9 bucks?
@@darrellfahrney3233 yes I noticed after I released it. I appreciate your attention to detail, cell phone 300-350 baht $8.50-$9.98
Good realistic information. I think you are living a great life on 60k baht a month. If times ever got tough you could easily reduce the housing and entertainment costs.
Live in the city and walk everywhere. It's a threefer: save money, get exercise, and don't get in a crash.
It all comes down to lifestyle and ho🎉w much youre willing to compromise. For both of us we love to have a massage every week. 😊😅 but I agree 2k is more realistic and alittle bit more if you go do some excursions for a couple ( might be 3k but 3.5k 9s a luxury) 1k is questionable unless your alone.
Traveling is a different story, most people don't travel on a monthly basis. I think that I would struggle to spend 3k a month (if no traveling was involved)
Pattaya and Bkk are not cheap, but more affordable than the western cities. Compare these to western cities. Its cheap for a vacation since you still have income elsewhere. If you are retired it will feel different, but then you are not looking to party each night. Longer term living may be 1000-2000$ min per month. As a tourist, it will be 150$ min per day.
😂 I agree, long term living vs visiting as a tourist cost are very different

I'm budgeting 3k because I want to enjoy the ladies too. Why else do we go to pattaya?
I understand what you're saying but believe it or not Pattaya is expanding it's economy. There are families and normal areas of Pattaya these days. The point is there is something for whatever lifestyle one choose to live.
Don't forget visa costs.
Yes the Almighty visa, but depends on the vis that you're on. Thai privilege is costly up front but a one time deal. If over 50 visa cost is more affordable
