The 8th gen Civic Si is good too
Fa5!!!
@@elighavalos7905 FG2>
The 11th is rock hard to me, sad they don't sell in Europe
No love for the 9th :( it’s a good car once it’s head swapped I promise
@@newengland9thgen372it’s good stock too. 9th gen is overhated tbh. It’s arguably a much better daily than an 8th gen.
Still got my bone stock ‘02 Celica GTS. Manual 6 speed, clean title with 150k miles. I paid $7k back in 2009 and still have plans for it. Same output as an Si for a third of the price
CCF has opened me to a absolutely hilarious form of content, its uniqueness and bullshittery makes CCF stand out, Im calling it that this channel will be popular by the end of the year
No they won't, they need to step out of this form of video if they're gonna make the algo happy. I like these vids but let's be real, most people aren't gonna stick around to watch these
@@tabryisThey probably couldn’t care, they just make these because they enjoy to which I’m ok with. I still love their videos, I don’t really want them to change
@@tabryis all it takes is 1 good video, see you when were at 100k or something
@@tabryis im just here to banter with the boyes
@@tabryisall they need to do is some shorts clips and boom, the algo will be happy.
Not gonna lie I really enjoyed the way you did this video format. It felt like a podcast but had a old school gamer chat room feel well done! Also it was fun to hear local towns where I’m from making the cut lol. Good work!
Those "sohc VTEC" stickers are so cope holy fuck
People are sleeping on the 8thgen Si. The stock K20Z3 is good for 8.5k RPM. They are super fun to drive, reliable, and cheap.
Shhhh that's my next choice when I finish fixing the CRZ.
halfway thru the vid we finally have an em1
it’s like how everyone (USDM) says ek hatch, when we only got EJ, you know what they mean
16:05 He's listing high on purpose, to get his actual asking price. It's a common practice, especially on FB Marketplace. He knows what it's worth and what he's going to get, which is why he put it way above, so people will offer the actual value. If he had it listed at actual value, you get all kind of lowballs.
he even says "OBO" definitely expecting lower offers, lowball culture is big on marketplace
since 2003, i had about 5 years dailying and tracking an EK hatch and 5 years dailying and tracking and RSX. both are great cars, not fast, but good daily drivers and they’ll keep you entertained on the track. i think i’d be perfectly happy never driving either one ever again.
i’m getting closer to 40 than 30 and i’ve joined the well maintained OEM+ club.
I have a 2002 EP3 right now. only mods are intake & HKS exhaust, everything else is stock. Drives abt 100 miles a day through the city & suburbs as a delivery car for hours at a time. K20A3 + Short gearing (+sound system) makes it never boring to drive and is the reason I can work for fun, not many people can do that unfortunately. oh and it has 300,000mi., runs perfectly apart from wear on internal parts. Would recommend as a daily for sure, enough space inside for a decent amount of stuff too.
I just added an Alpha to my RSX Type S and it is coming right off. What a terrible mod. Runs great, but it is an obnoxious, stinky, leaky POS. Back to OEM+.
It’s light, raw, easy to work on.wire throttle, double wishbone suspension, only downside is they’re on the mercy of kia boys in the hood, you see they got values
I recently picked up a black EM1 for less than 10k here in Cali. Car is completely stock and I felt like I won the lottery... they are almost impossible to find stock for less than 10k and they still have over 150k miles. I might post it in the discord but I'm new to the community.
Do it bro. You gonna keep it stock or tastefully do things?
@@TexasVexesI got the car as a “daily” but I want to mod the shit out of it performance wise but the car is just too nice to mod… I will keep it stock-ish. No internal engine mods just easy bolt ons and handling mods like good tires, wheels, and suspension. Everything I’ll do to it will be easily interchangeable with all oem parts if ever feel like selling it
You bought an old civic for close to 10k?? Damn.
@@BudderChicken101 for the EM1 specifically I was willing to pay 10k but in near mint condition. I AM NOT paying more than 10k for a civic... no matter how rare it is. Either way im still happy with my purchase. got most of what I wanted and I only paid 9k
for the love of god keep it stock. There is no reason to mod a car that nice.
this is the kind of circle jerking I need. I have a 99 civic EX and it is genuinely one of the few cars I don't mind dailying. Despite it being an automatic 4 door.
My girlfriends dad bought one of these new in 1997 and it has a little under 100k on it. It IS the diamond in the haystack, I agree with netgear about keeping it stock too
makes me feel good about buying a super clean 140k miles, spotless interior, 99 sedan LX. Got it for 2k from my friend and he had legit 300+ messages on marketplace. 100+ of which were in the last 2 hours when I bought it from him.. However it did need new cv axles, ac belt, I had to run speaker wire to all 4 speakers due to a short and now I have to replace some control arms.. Still worth it though and its super clean. Im planning on swapping to a K engine because its slow. I also tinted every last window and threw some koning wheels on them.
I wanted an ek hatch so bad (I still love them) but for the same price I could (did) get an ep3. I wanted a daily driver so ep3 made perfect sense, however I won't deny a clean ek hatch will almost always out do an ep3, love both!
Ep3 awesome car it makes me giggle more then my fa5
@@glennaikens7904 really fun car on backroads!
ek hatch on my channel super clean.
Even IF you got one. You'll only have it for 5 days before it gets stolen. These things are notorious theft magnets since they're so easy to break in and hotwire
At 10:40 You rarely ever see that anymore. In the 90's it was super common to see wide wheels sticking out from the wheel wells of Civics.
This video makes me feel better about my ek coupe purchase. Hard to find a virgin Civic. love to see another 6th gen Civic video. Keep up the good work
Dude $9800 is absolutely outrageous for a bone stock ek hatch. I don't care if it has 10k miles on it that's still insane. That guy is out of his fuckin mind. And I'm even a Honda guy but I'm not one that has an extra chromosome
Lmaoo bone stock ek’s with 10k miles will run you 20k in nj 😂
@@Ro6ns dude I don't doubt that one bit. Mfs really think they're sitting on a gold mine. The worst part is, there's plenty of people who make them think that and buy them for that price. Absolute fuggin clowns lmao
@@zaucy_ and then they buy them and think “ this’ll be worth more in 5 years “ And we’ll be seeing these go for 30. I looked up dc2 type r’s and one recently went for 151k with 6k miles 😂😂
There's something odd about peak plastic 90s with a wood grain wheel that doesn't make any sense
that key in sound and the button horn takes me back to my 1st car
I use to have an em1 that i re sprayed in championship white and had a CTR 5 lug swap on it.
11:47 i have a buddy who doordashes in this bad boy. Man redlines out of every single parking lot. And his standard speed is 60mph in a 40 and 50 in all 30’s. And his engine is perfectly fine🤣
Learned to drive in one, will always love em
10th and 11th gen civics are very good cars to own and daily too even in non si trims.
They will never be a civic to me just a si model of an accord
Oil dilution
Tiny ass 1.5l engine
More expensive
Idk
Those 10th gen is not affordable to some of us. So if you have one. Go have fun. You are one of the lucky one oh chosen one
Too big
My first car was a manual shift 05 civic. Great car, drove it literally into the ground
lol what did you drive it 500k miles and it just one day decided to explode?
I have a 7th gen SI and it's served me well.
Crazy how ass the following generation was compared to these.
The white civic that was supposed to be wrapped.
This is pretty much this guy's logic:
My car runs like shit so instead of fixing it I'm gonna pour money into getting a wrap no one could give a shit about.
I swear some people should just not be allowed to own a vehicle.
They didn't need to do my boy Mark dirty like that
Fr
7:42 🤣😆🤣😆 that jetski bit, took me tf out, lol.. #idontwannagoseethetitanic
wouldnt expect anything more from mark roden
i deliver pizza in my gsr integra and 91 civic hatch. relatable content
I've owned multiple EK's and currently own two DC5's. People who say the EP3/DC5 suspension is worse than the double wishbone are wrong. The EP3/DC5 required more work to adjust the suspension to counteract bump steer when you lower the suspension. You can't slap some suspension on a EP3/DC5 without dialing it in unlike a EG/EK/EF. The EP3R/DC5R on release were faster around the track than any DC2/EK9.
wrong
@@dr.mantistoboggan4746 definitely not. A DC5 and EP3 are faster around a track period. The lap times don't lie.
@@Th3yk1lledkenny wrong
Them saying the shit engine EK wouldn't be fun, my friend has a 1.3L EG and he loves it to death despite it being slow, personally have a 1.5L EG, also slow as fuck, but there's just something about the way it drives that really made me understand Civics
The coilovers in the back of the teggy is some real Honda boi energy right there😂😂😂 9:09
Sup, I am from Costa Rica, and there's a fuck ton of civics, actually yesterday we went to the track and it was 1/4 mile civics and (eks/egs) and all of them were either clapped or cleanish.
Got my 2000 dx hatch for $4K - under 100K miles, clean! Knew the guy though, my grandma score
Them shitting on Mark Roden cracked me up. 8:25
Hey hey hey woah woah woah
I'm just saying my guy needs to clean out his trunk, that's constructive criticism
Still remember the day I saw this old grandma in a bright orange 8th gen si sedan
11:53 - This just screems where is my “PIZZA”….
"I'm the German" lmao. Immediately started busting up when I heard that.
I had a black Si, great fun car.
Im a Honda guy but this video is hilarious 😅😅😅😅😅 I love it. The things people do to there Hondas! 😅😅
I have a 11th gen si almost FBO , smoked my homies Jackson racing supercharged EM1 , 11th gen is fun a nice and handles great and I also raced a 9th gen SI on hondata base map and got him by almost 2 cars
The 8th gen is dope I have a 2011 fa5 love the car been reliable and fun but the 9th gen interior and overall appearance is so much better it’s the best looking civic imo
Why am I not surprised Lowell came up in an episode on civics
Makes me feel good to have a decent 94 civic coupe lol
bro you gotta warn me before a spring compressor jumpscare like that
This is giving me Vietnam flashbacks of my old 6th gen with a misfire lol.
My dad has a 14k mile EM1, only owner, mint
That civic in Ocoee is literally 2 minutes away from me 😳😳
I had a friend who bought a 2000 Honda Civic SI off her brother. When I asked her to pop the hood and look at the engine I noticed it had a d16 in place of the b16 LMFAOOOO. I guess the blue color from that era was the nicest thing about it
Candian market? We had SiR here with b16

Just picked up a super clean stock ek coupe. Ended up losing the lugs and went on the floor to the curb :(
The ep3 was one of the best civics to
Also do a title check on any honda. Roll back is common.
The junkyard lol
I got an ej8 stock manual. 220k miles
I wish the people selling these cars would run into these videos lol
plan on gettin a 8th gen civic si
That second civic isn’t bad the p28 ecu it has is a good ecu and u can tune it worth money . That’s why it’s running rough cause it’s the wrong ecu , I’d rather buy that spend 1k max then buy stock hatch for 10k
Happy July 4 boys let those bald eagles reign loose
2003 Honda Civic EX 88k miles, not beaten up, just needs a new engine and some general touch ups.
West Orange, New Jersey. HMU if your interested
....I still have the old struts in my trunk
I bought an EK 5 year. Best car I've got
That red EM1 sold.
Give the em2 some love 😢
It’s a great car but the d17 is so garbage bro I’m now on looking for my third motor☠️
fr fr, aside fro out d series engine, it's solid bro. 237k on clock & still strong original everything. EM1 is dope af, but the immobilizer of the 7th gen sold it for me tbh. Heard too many 5-6gen civic getting stolen. I nopped tf outta that
A dying breed is a EF sedan. I hardly EVER see them anymore, aside from the one I own. They are so overshadowed by the CRX and hatchbacks. It's sad that sedans never get love.
The reason is probably that sedans were never bought as enthusiast cars like the CRX, the coupe and to some degree the hatchback. The Civic sedan was and still is only being bought new by people who just want a commuter car that's economical, reliable and safe to drive. For that reason the owners mostly didn't take as good care of them, so many of them aren't around anymore.
probably one of the sexiest looking cars but didn’t come si and didn’t have MPFI which is a hassle to do
@JordanIsATurtlex they actually did come in Si trim, just in japan. And the sedan did come with the d16a6 in the ex trim, which I think was mpfi.
@@wowdogeful I love a good sedan
@@ledetdillan55 so do I by all means, but unfortunately many people who bought them new did not. They just wanted a small practical and reliable commuter car that gets good fuel economy, so they just did the absolute minimum of maintenance to them, which you can see by the average condition of used Civic sedans and the rarity of really clean ones.
What I love about our generation of car enthusiasts is that some of us will actually keep these civics to pass down to our kids, grandkids, and hopefully even longer than that. Atleast we get to leave behind something we loved in a good way.
current shitty doordash delivery car is a 2010 legacy gt. have yet to arrive late for a delivery
gonna kms after seeing dude crush his fingers in the strut, ty
I have a 99 ex with a b16b. Ive been joking how i could sell the motor for 8k and would have to include the car just to get that. Now im confused on what the whole car is worth lol
Counterargument: EP series (yes, even the EP2 with a meh D16V1, as a daily) 🤔
Even on track, people don't do their homework and then say things that can be fixed by putting an extra 100$ in are unchangeable lol
8th and 9th gen si are great to????
What search engine were you using
collectorcarfeed.com/cars
@5:20 l was looking more at the white e34 than at the civic.
The integra’s and 8th,10th gen civics are the best honda chassis. Nurburg records to prove it.
Selling my ek soon hopefully I profit
Wish we had these prices in Europe
That 10k ek is rare for a 2000 white hatch.
Why does the intro song go so hard for the 5 seconds its played
long time no see
These are WAY too overvalued at this point, and I'm a big fan of Hondas from this era.
The 90s "Honda" to look for these days IMO is the first gen 2.2 and 2.3 CL with a manual.
I got a EM1 for 5k not really beat but needs front bumper and has a dent but engine has 160k
can yall look at the 8th gen civic please
I had one of these new in 2000. Traded in 2004 and got 16,900 on trade. I paid less than that new.
Why does Fred sound exactly like Tim Hansen 😂
Video about Corvettes 🤔? C5 & C6’s ?
Needs Everything..... Or my Favorite A LiL TLC.......
I miss my 98 Si.
best looking civic gen, next to (maybe this is controversial) the newest one that just came out
have you seen egs and efs?
Only thing I like more than an 8th gen si is a 9th gen si lol.
The 9th gen is awesome I don’t care what anyone says I love all the si’s
No one told me this when I bought the EM2
People snooze on 9th gens, the big block of the Si’s
As someone that have own and driven all Honda Civics models the EM1 isn’t close to the last good Civic. Both the FL5 and FK8 are the most solid Civic ever made. Both of them have been doing great things and setting the bar up high in the car race world.
If you are reading this leave a useless comment.
Feed reads them all.
Civic is an car
8th gen civic si is peak civic and you literally cant prove me wrong TRY IT
Why I don't want to sell my 98 hatch. The value is starting to sky rocket.
RSX does have double wishbone but only in the rear :(
Sadly it's trailing arm just like the EP3
@CollectorCarFeed yeah it's unfortunate. Despite the suspension, I still love my type-s
Nice thumbnail 👀
