Little insight on story one.... I'm very familiar w firearms. My dad was SWAT and an avid hunter. I've been a student of firearms my entire life. Most handguns are poor man stoppers. I prefer a 7 shot 357 Magnum revolver. 357 Magnum is the king of one shot stops in combat caliber handguns. W a 9mm it's very ammo dependent and w any gun u need to score multiple hits in vital areas. A shotgun or rifle is really ur best bet. 357, shotgun, and knife have saved my life. But that's another story.
Sweet video! ARRRRRRRGH 🏴☠️ 😎 🦯 💙 ☠️ 💀 👻 🏴☠️!

Please please please to anyone out there, rule #1 is never let a stranger stalker know where you live! If you are being followed, steer them away from your home, maintain as much distance as you can and use your phone to call the police then someone you trust. This could be the difference between life and death -someone who’s been followed too many times by creepy strange men
Also! I have the privilege of living in a small suburban town with a very diverse but tight knit community where everyone looks out for each other. If you are ever being followed, start shouting and screaming FIRE since people nearby are more likely to respond to that word and will come out to help. The stranger will then get too scared to continue pursuing. Creepy men are scared baby incels who prey on ppl they think will be a silent lamb. Being loud could save your life. Stay safe friends!
I just point my Glock and shot them

I was recently almost followed home the other night. I heard the guy behind me start jogging over only to trip and land on the street and broken glass. I just smiled and took the opportunity to change my path home and get away while staying as safe as I could. That’s karma at its finest. I made it home safe

Mad props to that Mama Bear 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’m not a parent but I’m a teacher and when it comes to these kids I will protect them as if they were mine. I’m 5 ft 2, 24 yes old and have a baby face but one time I caught one of my students getting jumped outside the two by two kids from a school down the street and my ass dropped my stuff and raced across the street and ran right into the middle throwing the kids off them, these tall ass basketball sized middle schoolers, I had no clear thinking, all I saw was protection and I made my voice super deep and told them to stop. Nothing is scarier than the Mama Bear spirit 🐻
I, too, am a teacher. (Also a mom to 4 kids and grandma to 1.) Last spring, I had to protect one of my students ( a 1st grade girl) from a creep that was trying to get her into his car. I wanted to beat the living crap out of that perv. Long story short, I got the kid to safety and chased the perv away. Sadly, he wasn't caught, but the kid was unharmed. I know how you feel about protecting your students as if they were your kids. ❤️
The Mama Bear spirit is a gift!
My moms anger is not of a bear but that of a dragon.
The last story is so sad 😞 that girl’s parents failed her! Who lets a grown ass man come in at night to “hang out” with their young daughter?!
The invader’s reasoning in story 1 made me think of that Strangers movie
- “Why are you doing this to us?”
- “Because you were home”
W dad for being a real MVP in story 1

Praise God for all the people who are alive to tell us these stories!
Me and my fiancé had been living in our apartment for 2 weeks when the home invasion happened. Around 2:30am 5 black boys (Baltimore stick up boys young probably 15-18) busted thru our back door. They tied us up and drug him to the kitchen and me to the living room. They tortured him with hot knives and forks heated from the stove. I got stabbed in the back, kicked all over, my back jumped up and down on. Punched in the face. They also pistol whipped him till they broke his eye socket and nose. The whole time they kept saying where’s the money just give us the money and we’ll leave you alone where is the money. The crazy thing was my fiancé owns a lil corner store and we’re in Maryland and he would go up to New York and buy all the stuff for his store so we were going up in two days to buy everything so we had about 20 grand in the house, they were tearing it apart looking for it and one boy finally found it and I saw him get it and we locked eyes. Kneeling down to me and said keep your mouth shut and I’ll make sure nothing else happens to you because they had threatened to rape me and everything by this point. He kept his word to thank God they carried my fiancé into the living room with me and laid him next to me and the guy kept saying pointing a gun to each of us saying which one of you wants to go first and then the other guy that found the money was like come on man people are gonna hear us we gotta go we gotta go. This point in time they had been up there for two hours. It just so happened that we lived in an apartment that was made out of old house, there was two but the other apartment was empty. He talked them into leaving they take everything and they leave and we found out that the people that had lived in the apartment before we did was also a mixed couple that looked like us and the guy was a big drug dealer. So they thought they were robbing a drug dealer and going to get paid big. Well one of them did get paid big they never found out who did it and you’re never the same after that. That was seven years ago and I still can’t stay in a house by myself. I have nightmares all the time. I have PTSD over it. You can’t explain to somebody how it changes you.
I'm sorry about what happened to both of you. I hope that oneday these bad memories will leave you, Hope you guys are fine now. I'm sorry for my English, it's not my first language
So sorry that happened

@@LadyAstarionAncunin because I’m not sure how you have to write a story and submit it
Thats horrible. I hope this makes someone reading this think about learning how to use the right tools for self defense because it can happen to any one of us. Even if you do manage to call the cops they can be minutes away. Minutes you might not have left.
That first story brings back a memory from my childhood that I have always thought was kind of "interesting," but now I realize how horrible it was!! I woke in the middle of the night when I was somewhere between 7 and 9 years old. I heard my Mom on the phone (landline, as this was the late 70s): "I'd like to report a fire." [pause] Then she gave OUR ADDRESS!!! I was like, "Hang on..." I was raised not to ask questions or "bother" my parents, so didn't leave my bedroom, but lay there wondering why we weren't running out of the house. I don't remember anything else that night, so must have just gone back to sleep. Later, I learned (not from my parents, but from our next-door neighbor [we lived in a duplex with adjoining walls] that the lady of the house had an ex-boyfriend who got jealous of her new boyfriend and came that night, poured gasoline on our walls and their front door, and set it on fire. I also learned that - while waiting for the fire engine to come - my Dad turned on our garden hose and doused the flames enough that the fire didn't spread to the other walls and the roof. Funny that I have always thought of this experience as just another memory from my childhood, but good grief! What a night! Just thinking about it, I can bring to mind the scent of the gasoline and the burnt walls.
Great narration and great storytelling. Keep it up man we’re proud of you.
bless this channel for the content it uploads.
Are you f***ing kidding me the Damn cops took 23 minutes and they were 10 minutes away that is so scary I'm so sorry you and your son had to experience such horror. I wish you well stay safe

The missing update about Ryan is what about Mary? Did the woman keep in touch with Mary? Was Mary also safe later?
Just saw this pop up and wanted to say I love what you're doing, it gives me a massive amount of inspiration but you clearly put a lot of hardwork into setting such an incredible atmosphere with each piece - amazing work
What a great way to describe his work! Even from the aesthetic of the opening to the way he tells these difficult stories with such empathy to what ppl go through and tries to sprinkle some words of hope. This channel is very comforting to me as it helps me process my whole life traumas in a safe space.

Mama bear story gave me chills! ❤️
The sheer lack of awareness of some women is unimaginable to me. I always run through scenarios with my wife/sister/mom and make sure that they are always aware of their surroundings. These cellphones and social media are going to be the death of society. I have seen women/girls so preoccupied with their phones that I can literally walk up behind them and they wouldn't even know. And if you are being followed, the best thing to do is become loud and in their face. Most of the stalkers depend of that (FROZEN WITH FEAR BS). Make tons of noise and make the situation very awkward/weird for the creepers. They HATE attention. Don't bottle up and just stand there while someone take you by the hand and starts having their way with you.
Honestly, I've gotten frustrated by so many stories. I'm a woman, but sometimes I get fed up with women in these stories because they give the creep their fear, crying or freaking out (which puts them at a massive disadvantage from the jump because it shows they're weak), endure the creep (which makes the creep stay locked in and think that they have a chance -- it also makes people think you're together), lock up and sometimes even let themselves be led away, isolate themselves, expect strangers to have telepathy and jump in to help even though the woman's behavior doesn't indicate something is wrong, make incredibly stupid choices, don't leave when they're free to, ignore red flags, smile/say hello to creeps, get super drunk/high in public, etc.
Now I know why there are so many missing persons.
I also get fed up with parents who set their kids up for failure because they don't teach them stranger danger or ignore when kids try to tell them they're in danger. Or I get fed up with disobedient kids who put themselves in trouble.
@@LadyAstarionAncunin Yep lets blame the victims in these stories, not the bad guys. Stranger danger is bullshit, I lived through that crap in the 70s/80s. The majority of kidnappings are done by family members and people who are close to the family.
YAY THANK YOU

I wonder what could’ve been in that cemetery that frightened the mugger off. But if I were in the OP’s shoes, I wouldn’t have looked back, either. Just booked it.

Perfect timing. I’m about to workout and was looking for a new video to listen to 😭🙌🏿
Bloody love that intro sequence
The guy in the first story taken three shots and keep going as part of the reason you were to empty your magazine anytime you open fire on somebody in your house. It also keeps you from going to jail even though you are protecting your family. In many states if you shoot just once or shoot in a location like a knee or a shoulder it proves that you could have done something else besides you and you can go to jail for it.

I hate when people say “I dropped to the floor” when they’re outside. It’s called “I fell the the ground”
I agree! Usually it’s people from Great Britain who refer to the ground as the “floor”. I find it odd to hear.

So there is a privacy / information disclosure law which basically says ya can’t give out anyones info to anyone unless given permission by that person. So when the wifey called the coworker legally wasn’t supposed to confirm or deny if she worked there or not. They can take messages to pass on to management or whatever because who knows if that could be the danger calling to make sure before enacting a plan …. This case worked out with the heads up but still….
This has nothing to do with private companies, on the government. There are no laws that say a private corporation cannot say you work there, and what your shifts are, but most company have some sort of policy against it for this reason. But again, the law does not govern private business.
That poor girl in story three made every wrong decision you possibly can in a situation like that. I feel bad for her; she at the same time panicked and tried to gaslight herself into thinking she wasn't in any danger when she clearly was.
Ladies keep mace.. The gel one is the best. I am also thinking in investing into one of those mini loud alarms that you keep in your person.

For the character and store number one schizophrenia and DID have no relation whatsoever. I wish people were more educated about mental illence before making claims like this. Creates such a bias and people who have legitimate mental illnesses that are not violent are often lumped in with dangerous psychopaths.

I really feel like I just heard that Waffle House story the other day from Mr Revanant or something.
I love Mr. Revenant!!
Oh yea. I only recently discovered him when searching for Lets Reads older content. Turns out he’s pretty good. I also like southern cannibal but his accent/voice is hard to get past sometimes, but always has good content.

A person who is criminally insane should never be let out. It's stupid that they'd keep someone locked up who's rational yet let someone out who's irrational. Perps like in Story 1 usually end up not taking their meds, so if he's ever let out, he's gonna make new victims. They can't be cured; they won't take their meds; so why are they allowed to get out?????????
