Mousey, as a human being and a father I identify with your struggles, anxiety and pains. As a fellow believer and a son of God as you are, I identify with your faith and obedience to the Will of God. The great news is that Jesus as man is the first to identify with your struggles as the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit attest. And Jesus as your God has respect unto your faith which will be tried (I don't know how long, hang in there. Joy comes in the morning). The Lord that you serve has left you with several sources of comfort:: the indwelling and ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures, His Faithful Word, and a cloud of past witnesses, and the encouragement of other believers members of His Body with various challenges (my challenge which is being overcome is in my body). Remember,, a man in prison said this Truth from God:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39, KJV)

Hallelujah! I've never looked at Eph 1:3 -> as a text to prove the Trinity. That verse was always something that confused me, since JW's jump on it, every chance they get, to DISPROVE the Deity of Christ. This is a revelation.
Adrian Rogers hits another home run with this blessed message about The Trinity. Great illustrations and exposition on how the Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit work together. We accept this plan and accept Christ into our lives by faith. Jesus is working in our lives daily. This is the best Christmas message we could ever hear.

I guarantee you one thing. If Blondin, the tightrope walker had put me on his back or in a wheel barrow neither one of us would have made it across Niagra falls. That would have been Blondin's last walk! I put myself in Jesus hands over 44 years ago though and He alone will carry me all the way to heaven. It does not depend on my performance, what I do, but on what Jesus has already done by shedding His innocent blood for my sins and rising from the dead. I trusted Him alone on April 3'rd 1977 and I KNOW He saved me, forgave my sins, gave me eternal life, and made me a born again child of God that day. I called on the Lord to save me and guess what? He did exactly what He promised! Great message!

I got into a debate with a JW 'study' over John 20:31, on the issue of The Son of God. I used John 5:18 and 23 , as well as John 14:1 to point out Jesus equality, in NATURE to the Father. John said it and Jesus affirmed it, AT LEAST TWICE. But the JW lady said I was twisting things to make John say what I wanted him to say. The study has since ended. JW doctrine points to itself for salvation. Talk about the blind leading the blind.
Exodus 3:14 was God telling Moses what he intended to become to save the Israelites. Not what he is.
Verse 15 tells us that God further declared his NAME to Moses.
(Exodus 3:15) Then God said once more to Moses: “This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘JEHOVAH the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation.
Obviously 'I am what I am' is not a proper translation. Neither does it refer to God's name.

Messiah did not deserve the sin punishment, as we did not deserve the sacrifice, and forgiveness of sins. But God, it was the legal means of his plan for salvation to those who would believe and be saved. Even as Christ was sentenced for declaring himself "the Son of God", that we would become the sons of God. It wasn't blasphemy for him to say it. Even as he gives us the power to become it. The original sin was not man wanting to become God. That was/is Satan's sin. But it was the means by which we were turned over to him, even as he was allowed into the garden. Immanuel came that he would be turned over for our sins. That His process of justice would be fulfilled. We are the sons of God, even as He is our example. There is now no sin in it. And the result will be surprising to many.
God the Son is not a Scriptual term. It's found nowhere in the bible. Same for God the Holy Spirit. Also, same for the Holy Trinity, the term is found nowhere in Scripture. Probably because those terms are used for a false Catholic doctrine. The Trinity didn't come out of Jerusalem, it came out of Rome.
God the Son accurately expresses what the Bible says about Him.

Infinity ♾️ is a closed loop because the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning. God is the first and the last. The beginning and the end. The Alpha and the Omega. God is the singularity responsible for the Big Bang and according to the many laws of conservation that singularity had to be equal to or greater than all of the mass, energy, and information/intelligence in the universe past, present, and future combined and since things are neither created or destroyed only transferred or transformed this means God became the universe. God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient. God is everything everywhere.
Since Jesus is God He always existed.

I always hold Adrian Rogers in the highest esteem but I disagree with the idea that you can't understand the trinity without divine revelation. I totally disagree. Examples of the Trinity can be seen in the unity between a husband and wife as well as the unity of a family as well as the unity of a corporation and its board of directors. All of these situations involve individuals who are of one mind and one purpose and ministry...but often to the point of being indistinguishable. There isn't much more to the Trinity than that so it's quite understandable. In actuality it's only confusing when we attempt to mystify it with a bunch of claims rather than explanations. John chapter 14 and 16 lets us know the functionality of the Trinity as well as it's intentions and purposes so it's not just a mysterious metaphysic. Christians like to use John chapter one to claim the trinity but you have to use John chapter 14 and 16 to explain the trinity. John chapter 1 is a claim whereas John chapter 16 is an explanation. It's a reality that has necessity, and functionality. The Trinity has a lot of relatable coincidences or resemblances between what is spiritual and physical so it's not exclusively inexplicable apart from divine revelation. I would say that the Trinity can be understood apart from divine revelation but it's not appreciated apart from divine revelation. The Trinity is practical not mystical. Jesus never spoke about his ministry and his relationship to the father as mystical, but rather, practical. Don't ever get the idea that Jesus relied on mysticism as a conversion tactic. The conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus was very rational and practical rather than mystical. Don't label something mystical just because you don't understand it. I'd say the leading reason that people don't understand the Trinity is because they're trying to perceive something mystical rather than realistic and practical. Therefore it's not a lack of divine revelation but rather just an ignorant means of study. It's funny how God tried to reach humanity through the practicality of Jesus, yet man tries to reach God through the impracticality of mysticism. Jesus honored the Centurion and Phoenician woman because of their practical faith...not their mystical faith.
The Trinity is a product from the minds of a bunch of stupid old men who had no understanding of Spiritual matters. The Father is God who created Christ who in turn with His Father brought all Spiritual Beings into existence. This was the Spiritual Creation. Every soul, whether living in Heaven or subsequently expelled to exist on or below the earth was created at that time. Christ was appointed King over the Spiritual creation and remains so to the present time. The Holy Spirit is a collective term for all those spirits who remained loyal to Christ who visit Humanity from time to time for the purpose of teaching humans all those things Jesus was unable to reveal during His short time on earth - as He promised prior to His return to Heaven. When we send for "the Doctor" we are referring collectively to one of many. It is the same with the term "Holy Spirit". The Apostle Paul and other NT writers made that abundantly clear - but unfortunately today Christians are fixated on the erroneous 3 blended into 1 concept.

I greatly admire Adrian Rogers. I publicly professed my faith in his church way back in 1976. However, he greatly misses the mark on the trinity. Jesus was God because His Father is God; He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. This is why He was without sin. Scripture tells us that our sin nature comes down through Adam, the male line. Jesus was human because His mother is human. He inherited His humanity through her. Jesus wasn't Jesus until His conception. John tells us, before this He was the WORD..."and the Word BECAME flesh." Remember HOW God created the universe and EVERYTHING in it...He SPOKE WORDS! PHYSICALLY, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are separate. When Jesus came up out of John's baptism, the Father spoke from Heaven, Jesus was in the Jordan, His father was in heaven, and the Holy Spirit came down from heaven in the form of a dove. Three PHYSICALLY separate beings. God the Son has a human body, God the Father does not, God the Holy Spirit does not; God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are spirits. ONLY God could reconcile Himself to His creation. BUT, He doesn't have blood; He is spirit. So, he had to come as a human with blood conceived by the Holy Spirit to reconcile humans to Himself and atone for their sins through His blood. And, lastly, there is information that ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS!
Wrong answer Adrian! The soul incarnated as the human Jesus is or was not God and never claimed to be God. The Spiritual Being who incarnated as Jesus was none other than Christ, the God appointed King of Heaven. He is correctly known as "The First Born of Heaven" directly created by God. Apart from the few Heavenly beings who incarnated on earth for the express purpose of preparing the way for Christ's secret Mission of Redemption, all inhabitants of earth and the spheres below the earth had no pathway open to them to return to Heaven. Christ made the decision to redeem the souls who had rebelled against Him eons previously, Himself.
