ONCE UPON A TIME IN NORFOLK ICE SPRINT RS WITH BURLEY NOMAD TRAILER ICE Q WITH CARREY FREEDOM TRAILER VIDEO BY GRAHAM WILLIAMS.. ALL PHOTOS BY BARRY BROWN
Thanks Monday . I have the day off and have made a start on part two its had 290 hits so far on part one so when it hits 300 I will post the other one :-)
Really enjoyed your video Graham. I keep threatening to show up at my relatives there unannounced. Problem is getting off the plane! One day I'll be there. Have to remember KEEP LEFT - LOOK RIGHT> Might make myself a sign.
A nice adventure on your trikes. I am hoping to get a couple of trikes for my boys and I to pedal around on and get some exercise. I doubt I would tour like you guys though.
Certainly helps to keep us motivated to get out there and do it too. Thanks Graham. Hoping to get down to Swansea next weekend and hit the Clyne Valley Trail. Fantastic ice cream shop at one end.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am inspired to ride and camp. I live in the U.S. and want someday to visit my ancestral home of Oxfordshire and Southam.
I’ve really enjoyed your video. Recumbents aren’t as popular in Australia yet but we are getting there. You have rain problems, we have sun/heat problems
Wonderful footage lads. l know the coast road very well and the traffic on it ,even slow cars cause a big jam. But it doesn't seem to bother you. l wish l was like you pair. AND your mileage ,WOW
Have you eaten crab since?...lol. One of my favourite places to go. That's the one thing about our weather, it's wet! Up 'ere int' north it get's very wet with horizontal rain. Just now we've been having a lot of sun. The gingers are cooking, it's funny. Regards from Colne, Lancashire. Nice video lads.
That must have been fun Graham. I'm still working towards my own trike. I go by the bike shop to keep my dream alive. I was planning on getting a Catrike Expedition...then they came out with the $4000 Dumont....oh boy! Decision just got a lot harder.
I wanna build an e- trike like this but add a lightweight weather enclosure & make it double as a sleeping pod by making it longer so u can lay the seat flat into a bed. Add some solar panels to the hood/roof & on top of the mini trailer for charging,etc...Build a homeless/hobo travel e-trike.
Enjoyed the film, been reseArChing the trikes for bout 17 years now,but always seen them on the net in sites from Canada or America Or some other foreign country, never the UK .Anyway, did a search recently for the hell if it an came up with Laid Back Bikes,so,wondering what part of the universe they were at,I clicked as you do,an surprise surprise Cilla, they are based in Edinburgh about 8 miles as the crow flys, from me.Went fir a wee looky the next day,an some time next week,am picking my very first ever trike,a 26 Ice Adventure, cheesy grins all round 😆😀😄😋.
Hi Graham, thanks for posting. I was trike camping this area early September 2014 :) You make good speed considering all the gear / trailer with you. I use a CF Y but not for touring. Depending on dates we may even have been close! Hull-Boston, Boston-Horning via Kings Lynn, Horning-Ely then North again. Good weather. Is that a trike tandem in your avatar? Bit small to tell. I met someone in Norfolk whose parents have one. Ah - edit, found the Greenspeed :) the one mentioned above was an Ice.
Thanks for filming the ride, it's neat to see the english countryside and the recumbents. I would give the video a 👍 if the edit were tighter. Having audio overlap the still images is easier on the ears. CZcams has a stabilization option now if your video editing program does not.
+ericteela Hi Well I make the videos as they're my memories, and if any one wishes to watch them thats OK with me, I know there over long for others but not for me as I wish them to be, you would be surprised the amount I do cut out,, its not a problem if others do not like them, as I like them :-)
Not really, being only a little island, and not really cycling friendly (It costs money) and this being Tory Land ( they pretend they like cycling. like they do with most things but lie. Most car drivers are OK, most do not understand how to pass a bike as they have never ridden one, or red the highway code. but few are Very good and patient something lacing on the UK roads
Great fun !! I love your setup and the trailer. Just how comfortable is the trike for the journey? Wondering. I'd be worried about leg fatigue for the long haul.
Walter Palmer Hi, Well I have changed the set up that time is a 9 speed with just back suspension it did the Job and i have toured on it befor it went around Kent and other Journey, and now I have a 10 speed with a full fairing and suspension all around, that I will use this year, Its very important that you have the right leg set up for a long Journey I start to fatigue around 70 miles,
@@1001Darkeyes ahh yes sounds smart :). One follow up question. Whats your take on 2 wheeler bent vs trike? Asking since I looking into buying myself a recumbent till the summer.
@@johannesmagnusson4996 Its purely a personal choice, I ride 3 wheels as with my eyesight I find it easier on 3 wheels. I would if I was you test ride both for a day each
It’s a pity almost nothing to see about the equipment. There we could learn something… either not much about the persons. A lot of unstable scenery. So fast gone. And scenery one can see with another vehicles. Good there were at least some still photos. Good luck.
