- There are a lot of things to show about Voight, and not all of them are good. I like seeing him evolve, and even though the show dares to make him unlikeable sometimes, the rest of the team is more grounded and knows that things have to change and speak out loud. That's why I loved this season, and I liked the way Voight went trough the reform stuff, just to be challenged when one of his is in danger. I also loved the way Hailey gets involved and how they're taken in this spiral so fast. She did convince him, but then there's the incident... That's always more complex than just good and bad, it's what makes the show a good show. However, I can understand why this character is problematic and I hope the writers will find the right way into this. Anyway, enjoy my new vid!

I like his character because he is not afraid of anyone, he protects and defends others. The next season is going to be incredible because of that accident with Hailey. In this video you showed how he is, he's not a bad person good work 👍👍😊

So great to see a Hank montage again. Not liking some of the new stuff, yet in a way he never changes. good ways .give him a lover who doesn't die-- no dont lol. btw Alvin never had any demons.
Hank is the antihero, he may do some bad things but he does them for the good reasons, he's definitely my favorite.

I do think that Voight is suicidal in some ways. He really doesn't know any way out of where he is except dying the way his father did before him and that hopelessness is part of what drives him. If he's dead anyway, what is there to hold him back from tearing up the rulebook to get one more bad guy off of the streets, one way or another?

🤔 Good video clips of Voight but the loud music is distracting & prevents enjoying the scenes.
I get it, why Voight goes the extra mile. I'm sure we have cops that do that as well. Sometimes the law just doesn't seem like it's working or people begin to lose faith in it. Police start to look like the enemy or people become more scared of them more then perpetrators and killers all because their doing their job or they go the extra mile. Their not the only first responders out there that can go rogue or work by the books for the greater good. The thing with Voight is not corruption or vigilantism it's the need to do what's best for the people by any means necessary and for criminals to experience first hand their own dirty work done on them so they can feel how it felt it on their victims. Let them know their not the only tough guys out there. I've seen lots of police dramas with cops that go the extra mile to scare criminals into realizing they can't scare everyone. I wonder however if in season 10 of the Chicago PD series has the team ever wondered why Voight responds to cases in the manner that he does like what fuels that short spark or what triggers him. Maybe a case he worked on in the gang unit or something during his childhood? Everyone has a reason or something that triggers or fuels their fire which causes them to grow into an inferno and become unstable. I think that's what they need to figure out or is it anger issues like IED or intermittent explosive disorder because he sure shows the signs. If I were them I would try to piece together what bothers him and work out the best way to help him control it. I hope that since this is the last season they all especially Voight gets a happy ending and realizes they are always family no matter what.
