I felt I was meant to see this and share some words of encouragement with you. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been in a bad place mentally and relationship wise. There seems to be a dark cloud that has covered the whole earth and more people than would admit are feeling lost, hopeless and depressed too. I don’t believe any of what has happened over the last couple of years is by chance. There seems a more sinister plan but out of this I believe there will be amazing things happen. These are very interesting times and a man such as yourself is a gem for humanity. You’re teaching people life skills. John, i really feel for you with the "head squirrels" mental health and self care is so important. I wish i could give you a big hug! We all really appreciate everything you have done for us all with the amazing and often funny video's but i think i can vouch for all of us who watch your video's and i guess are a part of a big "john fishing family" that we're all here for you and will support you and i just wanted you to know this. I'm a paraplegic and i LOVE fishing, got my self some off roading wheel's and have been to a lot of your mark's. I have a lot of "head squirrels" so i know how difficult and totally mind F***ing they can be. Stay strong john and hey you never know maybe i might bump in to you at the breakwater, Llandudno or somewhere! You can't miss me, purple chair with awsome wheel's. Anyway me and the other half are thinking of you, got him a go pro for fishing. Sorry to hear of your separation John. I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now. Your videos have helped me through looking after my Dad through cancer and are helping me again now through my disability. I had a heart attack last year at the age of 49 and a leg ulcer which came 2 weeks after being diagnosed with diabetes lvl 2. Life doesn't get any easier as we get older does it BUT if we're strong enough, we'll get through it and carry on enjoying it with our mates. The Stay Strong tatoo is very appropriate and if I can offer some words of wisdom from a 50 year old.....whenever your heads in a bad place try to remember those good memories and remember you have a following here who are all routing for you and who love your videos. Look after yourself pal.

I did this 26 years ago and we,re still friends (my doing entirely),depression is a very hard thing to deal with/live with,not me but hey I’m not making excuses. I toughened up and carried on as best I could but I still get low days. We divorced but I’d still do anything for her and we’re still friends,life does go on.

Been there this year and last mate. About 3 weeks ago head was so bad , enjoyed your vids they got me through some bad times as I could feel like I was fishing. Mental health needs to be spoken about and super proud of you for talking about it.

Naturally I don't know the details of your personal situation but I have noticed this in my work as a clinical psychologist: Due to mass media misinformation, women tend to have unrealistic expectations of men. They want (a) a high standard of material comfort (for which the man must spend much time working) and they also want (b) a level of attention from the man that is unrealistic if the man is committed to doing (a) well. Therefore with unrealistic women the man is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. It's a crazy situation. Whatever your circumstances, I wish you the very best John!

Like you said there is more to life than money, but sometimes we can get distracted by things and it’s not until the 💩 hits the fan that we realise what we’ve been doing. It's hard at first John, it happened to me twice, lost my first to my best mate and I had 2 kids with her, she was my first love from school. Met my 2nd a couple of yrss later, had 4 kids with her and after 25 yrs of marriage she met someone on the tinternet, I hadn't a clue, I thought everything was fine and at 50 it was tough, I'm married for the 3rd time and we've been together 18 yrs now, so far so good, and yes, I'm ancient 🤣 you will be fine mate, it just takes time, it's like a bad injury, it hurts for a while but it will heal, do what makes you happy and remember, the glass is always half full, not half empty, you are a great guy and your videos bring a lot of joy to many, you've encourage me to start a fishing channel and I'm 67, it's called The Bite, I will upload my first vid tomorrow 🎣 my first day today (Sunday) take care buddy, I might see you on Anglesey as that's where I fish mostly 👍🎣

Good. Mate, I went through shit over 5 months , I struggled to think, I struggled to function at times but 8 had a business , and I tried , and succeeded to carry it on on my own.. I used to drive to a mark, look and drive back home, I had no motivation in me due to stress and worry , and the constant things spinning around your head.. I learnt, and found it hard to find your way back again, but 8 did it, and now the burden has left my shoulder m the days look brighter, and things o; the up.. you be fine to,, may take a whil3 but you be fine.. good luck 👍

It's hard at first John, it happened to me twice, lost my first to my best mate and I had 2 kids with her, she was my first love from school.
Met my 2nd a couple of yrss later, had 4 kids with her and after 25 yrs of marriage she met someone on the tinternet, I hadn't a clue, I thought everything was fine and at 50 it was tough, I'm married for the 3rd time and we've been together 18 yrs now, so far so good, and yes, I'm ancient 🤣 you will be fine mate, it just takes time, it's like a bad injury, it hurts for a while but it will heal, do what makes you happy and remember, the glass is always half full, not half empty, you are a great guy and your videos bring a lot of joy to many, you've encourage me to start a fishing channel and I'm 67, it's called The Bite, I will upload my first vid tomorrow 🎣 my first day today (Sunday) take care buddy, I might see you on Anglesey as that's where I fish mostly 👍🎣

Hi John ,really sorry to hear your news ,,I suffer with anxiety and I’m a giant of a man who sometimes goes to work in tears ,,have a look at one a day kalms pills ,,might not be your thing but it takes away the idrenaline feeling you get rushing through your body and it’s not permanent it will pass ,,really hope you sort things with the mrs kids and business,, it’s good to talk about mental health,no body knows what the next person is going through, chin up buddy ,,big love and keep catching ,,tony ,,

Good. Mate, I went through shit over 5 months , I struggled to think, I struggled to function at times but 8 had a business , and I tried , and succeeded to carry it on on my own.. I used to drive to a mark, look and drive back home, I had no motivation in me due to stress and worry , and the constant things spinning around your head.. I learnt, and found it hard to find your way back again, but 8 did it, and now the burden has left my shoulder m the days look brighter, and things o; the up.. you be fine to,, may take a whil3 but you be fine.. good luck 👍

In my case I had 5 more kids...that was a surprise..and I've had all 8 of them fishing together...stay safe and blessed...it all passes....
