Tszyu was ready to straight up murd3r Zerafa when he talked about his father and Hatton. Zerafa has no class, lucky he chickened out because Tim would have beat the living sh1t out of him.
Yeah Zerafa is a coward for that, but Tim better harden up when or if he goes to America to fight the big boys.
They are going to play a hundred times the mind games as that, and Tim is going to have to wear it.
Kostya was also brutally knocked out by Vince Phillips, and they will see all this, so not only will they be using the Hatton fight, they will be using the Phillips fight. It is no holds barred over there.

It's obvious Tim idolized his fighter as his hero. To see him not only lose, but rather to see his will get broken into quitting the fight must've been heartbreaking. And then when you consider Kostya never fought again afterwards must've disturbed a young Tim who probably saw his dad as invincible at the time.
Tim Tszyu shouldn't entertain fighting Zerafa again.

I just love how TT is so grounded and humble outside the ring and just does all his talking in it with his fists and his techniques. Further to add, Tim is the same after he completes his task after his fights. Such a gentleman and a true professional. I think we will see him as a world champion one day. Good luck mate.

Zerafa still talking himself up trying to bait Tim to this day. Bloke thinks he's a big shot but has never beaten anybody of note. Beating Jeff Horn was his biggest victory. If he wins the Middleweight belt soon (Zerafa) I could see Tim move up a division to shut him up once and for all and try and takeover that division. He's almost cleaned out his main opponents at light middleweight except for the big dog and possibly Fundora. Stepping up is the next phase of his career. So much depth at middleweight.

I was looking forward to this..I thought Zef could take Tim into deep waters before succumbing to a devastating body shot. Tim is still young but I cant think of any champ in boxing that goes to the body better than Tim.. Its like Wilders 1 punch power....Like Tunde says..body..body..head..body!

It didn't piss me off, as a fighter will use anything for an edge, which he isn't showing up anyway. But if and when Tim goes to America to fight the real guys, they will see this and not only use Hatton to get under Tims skin, but Kostya was also brutally stopped by Vince Phillips and use that too. Hopefully Tim can harden up to face the mental onslaught over there..

@Simon Paterson maybe get on the other side of fame and see how it is. I'm not a boxer due to vision problems but I was quite big in the music scene. If you get famous enough or, in tims case, have the family name sometimes you do want that peace of mind not to be harassed. Sure you and your kid might not have but others sure as hell might.

Kosta was at the end of his career when he stepped in the ring with Ricky Hatton. If Kosta was in his prime as Hatton was when they fought, Kosta would have killed Hatton and killed Mayweather as well.

A huge number of Mayweather's fights were calculated moves and hand pick his opponents very carefully. That's why he got 50-0.
When Kosta Tszyu fought Jabb Juda, Kosta won by KO round 3, Kosta was at his best and he should have rolled Mayweather Jr instead but Mayweather didn't want to know about Kosta because Kosta ended Mayweather Seniors carear with a knock out as well.
Mayweather wasn't that good, his record looks good bc he carefully picked his fights. Kosta would have killed him in 1995-2001. As he did Mayweather Senior

Mayweather was good but not the greatest bc he his father wouldn't let him fight great fighters while they were at their peak bc Mayweather Jr would have lost to Greatest champions.
Mayweather Jr has a great record but that doesn't mean anything when you haven't had the balls to fight the greats in their prime and Mayweather Jr had the opportunity to do that but he didn't. As a Junior Light Welterweight weight Mayweather Jr had a chance to fight Tsyzu in 2001 but he avoided Kosta bc Kosta was in his prime. Instead Mayweather Jr stepped up a weight division to avoid fighting Kosta Tsyzu. Jab Juda took the bout with Kosta instead and went down in 3 rounds. Jab Juda went the distance with Mayweather that same year.
Mayweather Jr avoided fighting the big hitters when they were in there prime, Kosta Tsyzu was the biggest hitter of the Welterweight Division in history. Tsyzu hit like a light heavyweight. That's why Floyd Mayweather Senior didn't ever want his son in the ring with Kosta Tsyzu.
