  • Hello everyone just a quick video for you. as I went out to record the 2 railtours come through my regular trainspotting location at Respyrn Woods near Bodmin Parkway in Cornwall.
First railtour to come through was the Mazey Day Cornishman operating from Dorridge to Penzance pulled by the GBRF Class 50s 50007 and 50049 which the Mazey Day Cornishman to Penzance is their last railtour in their GB Railfreight livery before they get refurbished into a new livery which I am looking forward to seeing the new livery when they get reskinned.
The 2nd Railtour was the Statesman Railtour operating from Wolverhampton to Penzance with 47810 and 47712 so I hope you enjoy the video and feedback would be much appricated.

Thank you Sion it is nice to see the Class 50s and Class 47s. That was the last railtour that the Class 50s are in the GBRF because they are being refurbished into the BR Large Logo livery that I have heard. hopefully be out on the mainline again in August 2024 if all goes well.

Great shots of two immaculate specials plus good location magic to these locos again. I filmed the two specials arriving at St Erth then on the return leg at Redruth, judging by the problem's GWR had yesterday they were about the only trains to actually arrive very early everything else was really late. Well done great videos I shall put my videos up later. Jim

@@jamesbland9343 thank you James Respyrn is a fantastic location for train photography the best shots is getting the train going towards Penzance (Class 50s videos for example) with the curves in the track and the trains snaking on the curves.
