3:16 “Don’t be a dick!” 😂
You tell ‘em Wooly! Great vid
Lol, I hate seeing stuff like this
We have those dicks here in Colorado too. What the hell are they thinking?!
if you want to avoid the hassle of retreating with DWR just use a non-permeable rain poncho and you still get ventilation from below
That will work
Top of the day from Texas, Wooly. Nice jacket.
Cheers Johnny, hope you had a nice Christmas
❤️🙏 Love from Scotland 🙏❤️
Happy new year buddy
Nice jacket. Would be lush in green👍👍👍👍
Be nice alright
Hey Wooly, Nice jacket again! Soon you´ll have the complete Särmä product line at home 🙂 The one thing bothering me with this one are the way to big velcro on the sleeves. I guess half the size would have been enough. But it´s just my opinion ;-)
Cheers Torsten
I'm not a fan of velcro.patches myself, seems d bit pointless
Nice review! I was curious about the fit since I always just use my US ECWCS shell. It works amazing but you nailed it with the potato sack fit!
The ecwcs is great stuff I've had two jackets over the years
Nice and shiny sticker price on that too. I would love to have one, but my wallet says no way in hell.
Lol, yes it's an expensive bit of kit, seems decent so far
Hi Wooly.
Personally, I think the grey Austrian goretex one you had a couple of weeks ago is a way better value for money jacket. I picked one up for £30.00. If it had a brand name written on it, it would be easily over £200.
All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧
Yes, I believe they are made by carinthias parent company, some value, this is the same quality but better fitted/cut
@@RedBranchBushcraft That one looks too short, and you will get a wet arse in the rain when it runs down your back.
Ah sure that's what waterproof trousers are for
Hey what size are you wearing? Thanks for sharing pal
Medium regular I think
Have you by chance tried the sarma wool field shirt?
I haven't, I'll have a look. All their wool gear ix great quality
@@RedBranchBushcraftthank you sir!
Np
I really like that camo but the velcro overkill isn't needed but do fancy trying some sarma gear myself
I'm not a fan of the velcro patches on the sleeve, they could be half the size and still work
Just think you wouldn't be mooching about in that jacket 25 years ago in that area😂
I would have ! Lol
@RedBranchBushcraft it looks a good jacket I would have preferred a water proof zip and no flap, hard to find the balance between water proof and breathability . If you like wool stuff have a look at boreal mountain anoraks I got one there makes my swanndri stuff look cheap and nasty in comparison
@aaronmeyler8838 cool, are the wool
@aaronmeyler8838 check out my wandering parsons video
Great gear but it's out of my price range
Have a look at my Austrian army jacket video
299 quid for a 59 quid jacket ..
Are they havin a laugh ..
Seriously , stand under a hose pipe for two hours . Cheers
Lol, cheers buddy
@@RedBranchBushcraft it's very like a Berghaus .
Good review , especially saying it will take time to test
As with all these things , a good winter of wear will tell a tale
