I know this comment will probably go unnoticed but I've never seen a guy review a car so casually. It's almost as if it's the most normal thing for you. Every single CZcamsr overdoes it while trying too hard to be funny, but you my friend, nailed it! ive had my M4 for almost a year, in 9500 miles ive not managed once to get more than 210 miles to a tank. average MPG is around 21mpg. great car though and you are right the exhaust note is crap as standard. ive got the Mperformance exhaust and CG precision valve controller sounds awesome now. oh and active sound can be removed in about 3 minutes by unplugging the module for it on the Hardon Kardon amp under the boot lining. simple fix. great video, thanks for sharing

E92 for me. Timeless shape, proportions look better, looks more aggressive as well. Yes might be a tad slower, but there is only so much power you can use on the road. Also, v8 noise.
True, the fact we all like different things is what makes the world an interesting place, be boring if we all liked the same stuff!

I own one, manual, And let me tell you, the power is there when you tune it and downpipe--> 500hp is plenty for street!! I have carbon pieces, etc. IT MAKES the car so stand out with defuser, front lip, trunk lip,. side skirts, I recommend this to anyone, it almost feels like BMW Ms should install them from factory. nice review! cheers!

Great review! You mentioned that the old BMW M3 V8 engine was gutless, but then thing is, I'm sure BMW engineers could have developed an all new more efficient/powerful V8 if they wanted to for the M3/4. For some reason BMW decided not to make a new V8, which kind of sucks to be honest because the V8 in the E92 sounded great.

It probably had to do with more than just that considering Mercedes was happy to keep using 8 cylinders. However, that being said, it also had to probably due with weight and balance. Personally, the e92 stock v8 sounded weak as hell compared to a w204 c63.

No point in using a V8 when an I6 with forced induced can make target power and torque, and cost less to manufacture. Plus, producing another V8 with small displacement would likely require them to use forced induction anyways in order to compete, and meet EPA standards. This would also impede on BMW's powertrain hierarchy contained within the M cars since 5 series and up M cars including the non-cars already use an over used turbocharged V8 in my opinion.

Because they want to personalize the car , not that hard to figure out.BMW wheels are the best thou.
Zatharos the rims are not special, I liked the old rimms on m models more than what they put under the cars these days.
I really like the wheel on the regular m3/m4 but the ones on the competition pack look terrible.
I don't get it either. Most of the time it ruins the car, good stock ones look sleek!
