- 1957 Sand Rail/Dune Buggy: Ian Roussel Completes His Dune Buggy For Summer Desert Adventures 🌵
This project wasn't left behind. Life happens and this beautiful sand rail/dune buggy had to be put on ice. While filming for Full Custom Garage, Ian Roussel was working on this vintage dune buggy. The engine had to be put into another project and Ian had to put this project on hold in his garage. Ian found another engine, we had a visit from Barry and now it is back!

SHOW ARTISTS LOVE ❤️They all make the world a brighter place 💫 - Auta a dopravní prostředky
The soft spoken, no drama, peaceful presentation is absolutely amazing. In a world full of hate, anger and unsettling news it's a comfort to watch you folks create fun and beauty.
well said and i add don't let haters steal your God given peace and joy God is good
That was a very good video?
Love the car, the video and you two guys. Keep it up.
And no full blown ego !👍👍👍👍
Ignore the negative people of the world. Some people’s lives are so miserable they want everyone to feel like they do instead of trying to be better. Putting your work out for the world to see takes guts, sitting behind a screen talking trash takes no skill whatsoever.
Best comment I've read all week
Yeah sucks when asked to subscribe to meet 100k to get paid, and now those subscriber's have opinions . Some are haters yeah but not all...
I agree with Paul
TRUE THAT!!!!
@@ronaldrey8474 maybe so but sharing a negative opinion doesn’t make it worth anything more. Maybe those people should try building their own projects the way they want and hopefully people will like it and encourage them. Hateful people and those that know better but can’t do get enough attention don’t you think
Full Custom Ian Roussel is one of the greatest artists of our time. Jamie is fast becoming one of the greatest cinematographers as well ❤
You're right he is an artist. His works of art can move. 🎉 It's made from recycled materials and he changes the original purpose that they were made for. A hood becomes a trunk etc... not everyone can do that.
Y’all are one of the few channels and shows that I can watch anymore. I get absolutely nothing out of a $300k build. Show me a simple build that could be done on a small budget and I’m in!
Keep’em coming, truly enjoy what you do.
Oh do I agree
Then there one I stoped watching that would just add time to get more time to get more $’s by opening his mail or go on and on about nothing
Others with the drama
Ian and Jamie down to earth folks ❤
Haters will always hate. They are jealous of what you have and they want it. You two are the best.😊
Ian and his better half are the coolest. You go at your pace and bring us good things. Thank you.
I appreciate that!
You tell those haters Jamie!❤
Your videos of "the fabricator" are awesome.
I love how you kids evolve from show to show! So happy I've been "here" from the beginning! George The GlassMan!👽👽👽👽👽👽👽
Nice! Thank you for taking us on a ride in the desert with both of you. I'm glad that there was enough room for everyone. 😊👀👩🦳
Our pleasure!
Directing, filming, dialogue, story line, editing ALL spot on!!! TY!!
Ian is a gravity well of talent and you both compliment each other so well. I got Nothin but love for you guys.
My favorite channel to watch are you two ! I ask everyone to share and help this channel grow . These two deserve all the success in the world . ✌ 🛸
Wow, thank you!
That buggy is the perfect vehicle to ride the fence lines and later run the dunes. Don't listen to the haters, just do it all the way you want to do it.
My Dad grew up in North Dakota on a ranch. He said when time to cut hay in the summer he would never drink cold water in the fields it was only warm water or coffee because cold water chills the inside of your body and your body works harder to equalize your temperature to match outside and actually tires you out quicker. Also he said they wore heavy shirts to keep your perspiration from evaporating to quickly and you stay cooler with a wet shirt on. So I tried it and he was right. I love your buggy. I have an Empi Sportster that needs a total restore. Previous owner turned it in to a basket case trying to repaint it and it was repossessed before he finished it. Some people should never have a tool box. 😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for bringing back great memories of pulling the bodies off our bugs in the 70's and blasting tbrough the fields in upstate NY. . Great times.
Ian is an Artist, metal and cars are his medium. He's finished many things that are in people's collections. But then there is the viewing platform that gives the world the opportunity to watch this creative work. And, thank you Jamie for you coverage, videography and editing, and perspective. You bring him out. Thank you both, I love your channel.
As a kid my Pop bought a sand rail. We loved Glamis.
Thank you Ian and Jamie, All the best.
Love that thing, simple but cool! Thank's Mr Full pleasure Ian 😁
That buggy build seems like forever ago! Glad to see you guys keep some of your creations! Have fun!!👍❤️😁😎👽
Rarely even seen a 1957 VW beetle Great to see the bones still conquering
You're both doing a fine job! Eddie
Been here since day one and appreciate every bit of the experience! THANK YOU!!!
I will keep saying.....YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST.....Thanks for the ride....Joe in NY
Jamie, I am sure you have been cussed at, yelled at and even spit on in the ER. And that's just from the doctors..lol..as a fellow nurse..this new adventure for you is different from all the other platforms. Our music, willingness to learn and fresh perspective is great.
And I am certain Ian loves you dearly. That's all that matters. Both of are quite the pair.
Thanks again for a sweet breakfast tidbit. Simple, fun, and done! More smiles in the miles.
Hey Ian all work and no play makes you a dull person and that beautiful lady enjoy that moment with her,we love you.
Looked like a great day to go for a run in a buggy, Looked like a lot of fun, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Hey Ian and Jamie glad to see y’all out enjoying and it really doesn’t matter what some person that sits around looking to find negatives about folks trying to enjoy what they’re doing and sharing with others keep up the builds and sharing the videos thanks for doing so,God Bless
You two together is magic, others are just jealous, thanks a bunch for coming 2 u tube, also if it was easy everyone would be doing it, you together rock 👍👍👍
Our pleasure!
Great as usual. Thank you for the memories. I was 16 or 17, didn't have a licence. A fellow in my small town (350 people) had a very ruff beetle floor pan not unlike your's. He allway's wanted to impress me with his driving. Spin the rear wheel's taking off, hand brake turn's, but the one that most impressed me was going really slow up and down a vertical drop. The bloody thing could crawl over any obstruction within reason. Thank you again for the memorise. Cheer's.
It’s pretty incredible how they can crawl… we have a lot of steep terrain and I’m afraid of heights and my dune buggy Persephone can climb! So fun! Thank you for sharing 😎 ~ Jamie
You both remind me so much of a good friend Chris (who I lost touch with years ago) , who got me to see the potential in what is in your hand. Gave me a block of wax with a hole in it and an Xacto knife and told me to find the ring inside it; my first step into lost wax metal-casting. Since then, I've rebuilt and tricked out destroyed or neglected guitars, antique firearms, antique pewter toys, antique telephones, rebuilt dead servers at work, created jewelry, cigar-box guitars, written music, poetry, and other things. It's that joy in getting that "second sight" creatively about something and getting to it. If you've got it, you see it in others who have it, and I see it in you. And in finishing, while satifying, there is a little dip in spirit simply because there is now nothing more to do.
Great seeing the buggy on the trail
Ian has been driving it all over! It runs nicely and is the perfect cruiser
Good morning, and thank you very much. I will continue to watch, listen, and learn.
Wonderful!
I love how you guys address the commenters instead of catering to them.
The bar from the steering wheel to the steering box is a javelin point straight at your head. Put in a ujoint . Save your life. You are hard to replace.
@@richardlasater It's fine, the Germans designed it like that.
I have a buggy that my grandpa built in 1969 when I was a year old been enjoying it my entire life still driving it today it's more fun than any of that new stuff. Keep up the great content love watching
You can't keep everyone happy, but you know this, but I am... happy to watch, as I like it!
awesome sauce, love it!
Love watching you two crazy lovebirds… I never miss a video… and I am always look forward to the next adventure.
Thank You Mr. & Mrs. Roussel
It's bare bones beautiful! An extra fuel pump, a coil, couple extra spark plugs & wires, a gas can full of gas, extra oil, jb weld "the big tubes", tire sealing plugs, 12v air compressor, associated tools, gotta get a hula girl "she's well known in the trucking world for smooth sailing medicine". With that buggy and this kit, it will get you there.
Pay no attention to people trying to drag you down. Enjoy the adventure and keep doing what you like to do. 🤙
Wonderful to see y'all having fun riding around in one of Ian's creations! 😊👍🙏🙏
Been here since "day 1". Never once thought about anything but how cool it is to see this channel grow. The "mean people" can Pack Sand. But not your sand. Keep on Keeping on.
Keep up the great work. It is nice to watch, no drama, hateful arguing. Just peaceful enjoyment. I LIKE IT 👍 👌
Absolutely LOVE 💯 the sound of the TeePee header ! This is a cool buggy to do his CRUISING around his property and surrounding desert.
Great video. I miss the desert, such beautiful scenery you guys are surrounded by.

Have always enjoyed you guys from the get. All that hard work Jamie shows !! Glad you perceived and are one my favorite you tube channels ! Carry on 💪💪💪
If I lived in the desert I would totally build one of these and make it street legal so I could go grocery shopping. I did the '60's minimalist vibe! Rock on Rousells

For some of us it's the process, for others it's product.
People need to understand and appreciate the difference.

personally would like to see more desert adventures. I’ve always thought that the desert was a dry, hostile place, lacking beauty…but you guys have showed me different 😍
That looks like a lot of fun. Besides the very cool, working dune buggy with switches and hidden wiring, I also love the landscape and the spectacular view. Thanks for sharing 👍
Excellent 2 short of vidio u guys rock 😊😊
Ian great to see you finish a project , but then no doubt it will keep evolving Jamie’s questions are relevant , but the shop inspectors are the real judges of your work . Cannot wait to see how Victor finishes off the Caddy Led Sled 🇦🇺👍
You guys are awesome..period😊
Straight up cool, Ian you are the master of metal. Keep up the mad scientist/creator of cool going strong. Jamie you better keep a tight hold on him , I'm waiting for the day he makes a space ship.
