Neither the Quran nor the prophet saw said anything about Shia and Sunni. It's man made. There is a history behind it. Shia and Sunni came into existence after the prophet died.

As Salamu Alaikum Sheikh, I have a question...I had a dream I visited by some thing a human figure with white shroud clothing, white hair about shoulder length, he was talking to me I felt safe, hard to remember what he said, but I remember it was good. His face was indistinguishable, Noor beaming from his face I tried to see his face but noor emanating from his face. At this time I was memorizing Quran praying salat Alhamdulilah and I was a child about 10 yrs old. I never forgot this dream. Sorry for the randomness Sheikh, wondering if this is a true dream and if this could have been Malaikah ? JazakAllahu Khayrn 🖤

Prophet alehesalatuwassalam said in hadith sahih: pray like you are seeing allah, if you can't then atlease have faith that allah is watching you. And in another narration Prophet alehesalatuwassalam said salah is momin's mairaj معراج.
So how one can have mairaj without seeing his creator?
Can somebody help understand his point of view . When he eyes can’t encompass him or grasp him . When it is clear we can’t see Allah in this life . If we talk about after life we will see Allah according to Quran and sunnah . What is the point of using words like encompass or grasp
Even in after life we would not be able to Grasp or encompass him. But we be able to see our creator. We will never be able to understand things like what is he made of, How his body works or what ever questions you have about Allah's origin.
If you understand hindi aur urdu.. I can say u simply there is difference between deedar and dekhna.. Deedar karna matlab jhalak ya thoda dekhna aur completely pura dekhna alag hota hai

Why we don't see Allah now instead of only on day of judgement ?
Answer could be multi layered.
to the extent i know :
1. It is a test to believe in Him without seeing him, if we see him where's test.
2. We are not capable to see him, Musa as asked Allah to reveal Him, and Allah just showed one of his sign to him even he went unconscious.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that he saw his Lord in the form of a "YOUNG MAN"! The Quran asks the question: Holy Quran 53:12 Do you then dispute with him as to what he saw?
It appears that much of the Muslim World DISPUTES with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Most important is the report by the Prophet’s cousin and famed “Interpreter of the Quran,” ‘Abd Allah b. Abbas: “The Messenger of God said: ‘I saw my Lord under the form of a young man (shabb) beardless (amrad) with curly hair (ja’d) and clothed in a green garment (hulla).’ Sources: Ibn Adi Al-Kamil, 2:677; Al-Bayhaqi, Al-Asma wa al-Sifat, 2:363; Khatib al-Baghdadi, Ta’rikh Baghdad, 11:214; al-Suyuti, Al-La ali, 29f; al-Muttaqi, Kanz I:58
Muhammad b. Ishaq < ‘Abd al-Rahman b. al-Harith < ‘AbdAllah b. Abi Salama: [‘Abd Allah b. Abi Salama] narrates: [One day], ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Umar (the son of second Caliph) sent [a messenger] to ask ‘Abd Allah b. Abbas if Muhammad had seen his Lord. Abd Allah b. Abbas made him answer yes. ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Umar sent him his messenger again, to ask him how he had seen Him. [Ibn ‘Abbas] had him answer that he had seen Him in a verdant garden, [in the form of a young man (shabb) having under him a carpet of gold, [and also] on a footstool of gold that carried that four angels, an angel in the form of a man, an angel in the form of a bull, an angel in the form of an eagle, an angel in the form of a lion.”
Ibn Furak, Mushkil al-hadith, 386: Ibn ‘Umar to Ibn ‘Abbas: “Did the Messenger of God see his Lord?” “Yes, he saw Him in His form (suratihi) on a golden throne, veiled with a golden cover, in the form of a young man (shabb rajul).”
The Mother of the Faithful was generally dismissed in favor of Ibn Abbas on this issue. Abd al-Razzaq b. Hammam (d. 826) mentioned the hadith of Aisha’s denial to Ma mar b. Rashid (d. 770), the famous Yemenite muhaddith, who said, Aisha is not with us more knowledgeable (in this matter) than Ibn Abbas. Al-Marrudhi reported concerning Ibn Hanbal: I said to Ahmad: “Some say that Aisha said ‘Whoever claims that Muhammad saw his Lord lies greatly against God’ How should we respond?” (Ahmad) said: “With the words of the Prophet, ‘I saw my Lord.’ His words are greater than hers.” - Al-Khallas, Kitab al-Sunna, apud Ibn Hajar, Faith al-Bari, 8:608-9, et.al..

First of all syeda Aiysha Radhi allah anha wasn't born when معراج took place. Secondly why jibreal will show his real face in معراج to Rasool alehesalatuwassalam (some said prophet alehesalatuwassalam saw jibrael alehesalatuwassalam in his real form) when jibrael said I can't even go further from this place (sidra), so who prophet alehesalatuwassalam went to see four time and speak with. If you say prophet alehesalatuwassalam spoke to allah (obviously he did) or allah swt spoke to prophet regarding salah and other matters 👈 we all believe that then why didnt prophet alehesalatuwassalam mention after returning from معراج that he saw jibrael alehesalatuwassalam in his real form. Prophet alehesalatuwassalam saw jibrael almost every day and night and we all know that (jibrael used to bring messages) Looks like this is completely weak statement which can't be from umm ul momineen, because she can't guess or misinterpreted something very serious. Third thing is to notice that jibrael alehesalatuwassalam when came to take prophet alehesalatuwassalam and mention that allah want to show you his creation عجائبات O prophet alehesalatuwassalam, But here jibrael didn't say allah want to show my real form to you O prophet so let's go to seventh Heaven.
Allah swt showed what he showed to prophet alehesalatuwassalam (mention in quran) which Musa couldn't take it on mount toor. Allah swt prepared prophet alehesalatuwassalam for the travel by (opening his chest and filling with hikma) so prophet alehesalatuwassalam can take the light of allah swt because human being can't take تجلی of almighty. You need highly premium mirror to observe such thing. Allah gave this سعادة only one of his creation محمد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم to observe his Noor نور.
Syedna abbas radhi allah anho's hadeith is sahih.

I will go with Ibn Abbas ra opinion which Rasool Allah did see Allah. The invitation to Arsh ur Rehman means to see Allah. Jebril was there always with Rasool Allah, so there is no point of seeing him near Arsh.

This Hadith is mawdoua , meaning it is falsely stated that the prophet said that, so u must not quote such Hadith and claim that the prophet has seen Allah , this plain lieing to the prophet , may God guide me and you to the right path and Allah knows best.

You will not see your lord in world, but Prophet ( peace be upon him), was not in world during his Mehraj. So, it is possible to see Allah above Arsh azim, if Allah wishes.
Another thing, why Allah took Prophet ( peace be upon him) above Arsh Azim, if Allah didn’t want to reveal himself to Prophet?

Most of the Islamic scholars, including this Sheikh, use linguistic jargons to avoid clear yes/no answer.

Book 1, Number 0342: (Sahih Muslim - online version)
Abdullah b. Shaqiq reported: I said to Abu Dharr: Had I seen the Messenger of Allah, I would have asked him. He (Abu Dharr) said: What is that thing that you wanted to inquire of him ? He said: I wanted to ask him whether he had seen his Lord. Abu Dharr said: I, in fact, inquired of him, and he replied: I saw Light.
First one (#0341) is a severely false translation. If we accept it on face value then the very next hadith (#0342) will contradict the previous one. Remember Imam Muslim (rah) was an expert in hadith sciences let alone he not knowing that he has narrated 2 totally contradicting hadiths adjacent to each other in his magnificent Sahih collection.
False translation of first hadith (#0341) states: “:He is a Light, how could I see Him?
Here the translation claims that Allah is a light so how could He be seen?!
Now the next hadith (#0342) says: "I, in fact, inquired of him, and he replied: “I SAW LIGHT”
Let us now move towards the Arabic of first hadith which actually proves without doubt that Prophet (Peace be upon him) actually said that "He saw Allah"
حدّثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللّهِ: هَلْ رَأَيْتَ رَبَّكَ؟ قَالَ: «نُورٌ انى أَرَاهُ»؟.
