Nice to know who are our allies and for China to know who they are when testing the waters of claiming the West Philippines Sea as theirs and trying to fenced it. Filipinos, my countrymen, must not forget however that these countries also considered their own individual self-interest in supporting the Philippines. They also had a stake in terms of ensuring no disruption in international trade, oil supply lines, military defense, etc.
It's a pity the China does not know how to behave in the international stage. They shifted their weight in cutting off supplies to the west in international trade, thereby resulting in massive capital flight by foreign investors and subsequent recession in their economy. Moreover, foreign countries became less sympathetic in the current sufferings of its citizens because of rampant corruption of the system, greed. Whatever wealth or progress they have gained in the past are wiped out and citizens are left miserable and financially insecure while CCP members are so rich they don't feel it.

The Philippines doesn't need any help just to go to war, what we need is to resolve our conflict amicably with anyone without resorting to war. You must understand that we don't get benefits from war only miseries. The skirmishes that we have with China is not an issue at all if our Philippine leadership have shown the sincerity in dealing with China by initiating a high level talks and eventually thresh out the problems with them in the West Philippine sea. Instead what the Marcos Jr. government has done is that they gave the Americans 9 EDCA sites right away as their military bases with the guise that their presence is to defend Taiwan in case China invades it. So the gesture made by Marcos Jr. government is sending a wrong message to the leadership of China that we are closing our doors in resolving the issue which is not really a good proposition at all.
