The statement about it looking like an old TV is perfect, I still fly analog and after looking through DJI goggles when I fly my setups now it reminds me of an old worn out VHS tape, but my dad's DJI goggles feel like I'm sat in front of a 4k TV.
Keep coming back to this video Tom. I’ve been flying Supafly for 6 months and my flip mode is my ‘go to’ now. I’m certainly not going back to analog, but I am picking up a Juicemode soon and it will be slammed, same as yours, but without the girlie paint job 🤣

As someone well versed into collisions with concrete, the motors and the frame surviving that crash was amazing! I had a similar experience temporarily switching from digital back to analog - surprised with how the analog didn't look AS bad as I thought it would! Any change in latency is a non issue for me because....I'm crap lmao Great video!!

And I really notice that higher latency and especially the variable aspect of it. I can understand that it actually makes some people nauseous without actually knowing why. And surprisingly going back to analog made it feel a lot more immersive despite an image that looks like sh**t. I'll use digital more for long explorative flying and when I want to enjoy the view. For close proximity freestyle... I'll stick to analog :)

What print did you use to separate your ESC and flight controller. I’m trying to do my build with 20 mm standoffs and I want to make sure the flight controller and ESc don’t touch. Mind giving me the link? I’d appreciate it.
The analog camera seems to be in sort of Day /Night auto mode , you can lock it to only Day mode in the camera's settings and then it wont transition to B&W (black and white) and colour image. I had this kind of issue with one of mine and that fixed it. Next video try digital on this quad and see if your flight experience changes, with the added confidence.

I bought crossfire only like a month or two before tracer came out... so I'm already behind again or what? Do you really have the same penetration on 2.4ghz, how is that possible physics wise. Smaller antenna is cute. The ratel 2 is great! Uses the dji lens. That rush tank looks great I should maybe upgrade my analogue freestyle setup to that.
hey sync! next time you should try filming with the shutter locked 4x the frame rate like doing 30fps at 1/120 or 60fps at 1/240 if you using any nd filters then you can have just a tad of motion blur and itll look way smoother when you get juicy!
When I was flying and Stephen was sending me tunes, they were amazing. I felt night a day difference from my tune which I thought was good, and Steve's tune. His was mental! Also, what are you calling this bando? What's the bandos name? And lastly, another banging video. Well done mate!

Didn’t know there were companies in the Uk that sold FPV. I just received my order from Rotor Riot of their CL1 build kit and have ordered the tyro 5” and 3” from Banggood. I’ll defo be looking up Supa Fly soon. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting point about the fusion not something I ever tried, I know there was some problems when it first launched, but since being in the digital land I haven't been keeping up with that side of things too well
@@SyncFPV You are right, fusion had some issues at the very beginning. Now it has tons of new features. Btw, from what I can tell your builds look very clean. It would be some great idea if you make a tutorial or some tricks and tips about it. The last but not least did you notice any difference between fettec FC v1 Vs 1.2? You are lucky guy to have it because it is all over out of stock 😭
Frame does look very good overall and the custom tunes sound great, but I don’t think I could ever give up badger’s camera cage. I never liked having to chose between good camera protection or no standoffs/frame in view, wish everyone would just embrace adjustable (or at least rounded) metal camera cages.
Not quite, still on digital, but have switched to a supafly frame, working on some design changes with the guy that will be available soon, will be a video on it once its out :)
Sorry man, I use kiss and didn’t enable smart audio with this one, just used the buttons to get it in highest power mode, I stopped using bf before vtx tables were a thing so I don’t know much about them I’m afraid

My supafly flipmode2 is by far my best flying betaflight quad and stephen is always super helpful and his frames are tough as hell

I've found that latency is not noticed when flying one system along. fly the analouge first then the digital you'll notice something.

I have a supafly frame. They make good products. Does this frame fit the dji air unit though?
not yet, I think Steven is currently working on this as we speak tho, creating a mounting solution for the air unit

How did you went through osd fettec f7 don't have osd I guess,
I used the separate FETtec osd board you can buy. The G4 does have a built in osd (just make sure it’s not the newly release G4N)
Just switched to digital yesterday. Only thing i miss is fettec osd
I was impressed how great the fettec OSD is. Lotta stuff u can do!
