Something you may add is a glue stick from a hot glue gun. I keep one in my kit and heat it with a lighter for things that require glue in the field

or even a small tube of superglue ,combined with thread you can use it to stitch cuts

Karl O'Flaherty ive found that super glue either hardens in the tube or leaks all over the container you have it in. A hot glue stick is solid until you need it and works well for tents

Martin Outdoors69 there the "Mcnett" series of repair products. they do have a lot of options in those shell cases.

how exactly do you clean the syringe of glue? seems like a good idea that's never been tested

    • @LivingtoLearn

The syringe is for flushing out my water filter 👌🏼

Tnx for sharing, i do agree on the 'not seeing these enough' as i think this is a pretty essential part of one's total 'kit' (even though in most cases a lot of stays at home, most of the time).
What i found somewhat weird is that there isn't a sowing kit in there (be it that you have a needle), to repair clothing and some buttons for shirts and pants, heck even a safety-pin can be a useful fix for a few days.
Perhaps this video can give you some other ideas czcams.com/video/C4ehJ6OuUWo/video.html , i rather like his role so i'm going to copy it, though put the things in that i find useful. Maybe you seen it already, but if not, perhaps it gives you an idea you'll be thankful of on one of your trips.

almost at the start in the front compartment (mesh) there are a number of safety pins!!

too much rambling for me,,if your kit breaksdown in the first day then you have not checked it properly to begin with, otherwise just gorrila tape it!
