I love the valkyrie set. It gives me the most overall boost to my stats and lets me spam runic attacks relatively often for an endgame set. I'm the sort of person that refers to have most of my stats go up with my gear.

I kinda wish that Tyrâs Armor woulda been an epic armor I personally think that one looks the best. I think that the Valkyrie looks the best though that gold looks so good combined with the look of the fully upgraded axe and blades with golden pommel and grips.
Best Armor is Valkyrie. I had to grind so much for it. Im not Level 9 but still its very good.

@@Musti101 The NG+ Valkyrie armor is very good but i prefer the gold one from normal play. Normal play means that you start the game without anything. Start Fresh pretty much. Plus i Think that the defense sets are pretty wack because c'mon. If you wanna play like a god you should have armour which don't have much defense. GBG said that himself and i agree if you wanna go all the way.

I think they might have it in the next one or even God of War 6. To be honest i call this game God of War 4, next one I'll call God of War 5 Ragnarök. Maybe I'll cut the Ragnarök off, and then 6 and maybe another name after that.

The deadly mist set is the best one for my play style itâs a perfect match for an offensive/defensive playstyle not to mention I think itâs balanced out by the slow heath regen and the boost to runic attacks
I use the cursed mist set with chilling storm talisman + Gift of Apollo. You can spam the stance stab attacks in blades or use a runic attack and uâre basically a tank with crazy dps

I got the Platinum today, let everyone know that you can obtain the final upgrades for Blades of Caos and Axe even if you have completed the fog and fire realm prior to beating the game as they will be in the shop for sale once you finish the story if you miss the drop from the chests.

Jibran Haider no man it just takes about 50 hrs, Challenge mode is hard but makes it more fun. Valkyrie bosses are the hardest enemy in the game.

In lower difficulty wear which is the coolest for you. On Give me GoW difficulty the Valkyrie set is by far the best. It gives you superior stats (430 points in total) which is roughly 100 more than other sets. Its also balanced and have better perks. The Muspelheim set perks are crap for that difficulty becouse you dont want to get hit in the first place and the regeneration from Ivaldi set makes little to no difference on that dificulty.
My favorite is the muspelheim ng+ armor, the lava glowing in it are fit well for kratos rage

The upper body armors that only cover up kratos right shoulder are the best looking I think they are called pauldrons.

So i have the deadly mist set, pretty good, my favourite for sure, the extra damage as well as the health regeneration helps against the valkyries

The Fallen Ash set might now be the best, but it's definitely my favorite for looks.
The Endless mist set makes you look like a traditional tank. It's my favourite.
I have the Deadly mist maxed out and it's so reliable in game, constant regen of health makes it so much better for me

@@bibip12345 Well I usually do side missions with the main story. You can do it after the main story just that when you unlock the actual location it's pretty late, so you might as well.
(Especially if you plan on tackling Valkyrie missions)

Love Deadly Mist set, strength focused set with some decent runic damage. Also love the underrated Smoldering Brimstones set, it doesn't give so many stat points overall and deals crap runic damage but those axe swings will hit like a truck, really good on 1v1 situations.
It was the set i used to beat the Valkery queen. Tried Deadly Mist there but there were no many windows to use my runics so switched to Smoldering and got her in my first try with it
Wait, how? Deadly Mist has every single stat better than Smoldering Brimstone, what was the thing Smoldering had that made you win and not Deadly Mist?
@@SebastianBaos Well i was not making use of the runic stat that Deadly Mist gives since i was barely using runic attacks so i swapped to Smoldering Brimstone which gives you more strength so i was able to deal more damage with normal axe combo attacks. But if you like to throw runics in the mix then Deadly Mist will be better option

Cool showcase, Iâve been trying to upgrade ivaldiâs armour to the max but itâs so hard since I have to kill a Valkyrie which Iâm really bad at and got two more of a legendary thing in order to upgrade it. Got any tips on order to upgrade ivaldiâs armour?.
I found interesting that in ragnarok they changed this system so now you actually have a reason to upgrade the different armors

Ivaldi's deadly mist armour is good but the health regen isn't good enough to be the selling point, don't count on it.
Just killed two Valkyries, going for that armour.

After playing this game myself I understood how real the grind is. I might return to it later, but for now after defeating the queen Iâm done.
I know man. It's way too boring to do that grind. Mostly in Musplheim. Musplheim sucks because if you fail that challenge you have to do the other challenges again. Unless you save before you Attempt that. That's probably the smartest way.

I kinda wished they had like a kinda call back to the other games, like a skirt armour with some greek symbols, the braces on the arms are pur gold with Cerberus heads and a kind of makeshift Golden Fleece on the side of the arm but with like a bull or cow head instead of a ram on there. Im just saying the dwarfs would have loved making an armour set based on past Kratos, but give it some Nortic feel.

complete the game on the hardest difficulty and you get a spartan shield.
Im loving the end game grind for armor sets (and all collectibles) im absolutely baffled that this isnt discussed in 90% of the reviews. I beat the game and have put prob 5 hours in to this grind already and have prob 5 more hours left of grinding minimum
I personally don't see a point in grinding for something AFTER beating the game. There's just no point to it.
If there would be a new game+ and you could keep your equip, than I'd see it as a pro, but if not, it's rather a con.

MikaeruDaiTenshi A lot of gamers, including myself, really enjoy collecting items and being in the game world. Theres enough side stuff to do, like beating these Valkyries, with your new armor. The combat never gets old to me and theres so many different runic attack options to change it just enough. Beating all of the Valkyries is an accomplishment within itself i felt a great sense of accomplishment after beating them, if it means getting materials for armor, and epic armor? why not
Grinding for sets with nothing to use it on for me. 100% all collectibles/bosses before the final story battle. This game seriously needs a New Game Plus.
frdrck moyz Grinding for sets requires beating enemies and engaging in combat. Its like getting collectibles in every other game ever. I play call of duty, theres technically no point in that.

In my opinion Ivaldi's armor of Deadly Mist is the best armor in the game.
It's your preference. Even now. I do love how the chest piece for the Deadly mist looks like though. Wish they made Something better than what we got for the NG+ one. It was just a replicate of the other armours.

I personally use the deadly mist pauldron and war belt and the valkyrie gauntlets, that way, I have good stats for everything and so I can do a lot of grinding in niflheim (the best endgame way to get hacksilver).

Oh man, apparently the Smoldering Brimstone armor is bugged, since it has a lesser effect on your level compared to the others despite also being level 8. Such a shame! You can still push your build to level 9 wearing it, but you'll need more level 7 enchantments.
Is sad there is no new game +. I finish up everything expect that Valkyrie Queen fight which I will go back again. I started a new game for the 3rd time again, trying out different set of armor

Amon __ no Iâve seen at least 3 of his spoiler casts and he has said that he wishes they did, because they did run out of time. But said there is no plan for the future. He may have said, âyouâll have to seeâ in atleast one. But thatâs just to get the hopes up of the gamers.

Yea, I beat the game and all of a sudden the best armor and weapons upgrades are at the end of the game. It's a shame the travelers don't respawn after you kill them, I still need to upgrade my traveler set. Sure there are some in the trials realm, but the travelers don't drop the materials needed for upgrades, they only drop hacksilver.

Coskun Oztekin Yes. Once you defeat the Valkyrie the challenges re-appear and allow you to get more resources. I think enough for all the armor and upgrades.
You get to re-grind muspelheim over and over if you want to for more resources, so yes.
Can you fully upgrade all the armour sets in the game?
For me its the zeus armour but its defence is a bit bad...if you get hit once, you'll sustain more damage than normal, but its strength is amazing

As far as I have seen, Tyr's Armor is the only one with luck, but that's only a purple one...

Itâs really useful on GMGOW if you use it as a panic button when low on health.

Pristine Dust: Stone Falls (in the same Legendary Chest as Golden Talisman of Protection, must lower bridge and chained gate first before you can access it)
Pristine Ore: Iron Cove (behind a door sealed with nornir rune, you get this one with Mist of Helheim runic attack)
Pristine Scale: Light Elf Outpost (on the upper level of the area, inside a Legendary Chest)
