To be honest, this (and other Chilla's Art games) are one of the best! Especially with No Commentary. Another thing: Wouldn't it be cool if Chilla's Art made novels of their games? Sure, there would probably be some changes to some, like diologue and maybe some more characters, but still. I think a novel of Aka Manto or The Radio Station would be interesting!
It is because mainly people have a fear threshold; it's enjoyable when someone is speaking to avoid feeling more fear, for this game though, no comm. is more efficient as fear factor of the game would go down and when streamers make some jokes, the immersiveness in that horror atmosphere lessens. Not that it is always bad, some do that for follower count (face reveal) thing and some people prefer horror, only in moderation. I have to say though; the gameplay was awesome, jumpscares were good, just from the game I realised that footsteps, door opening and any random noise attracts the enemy and since they pass through doors, it becomes all the more difficult, especially those creepy spiders. The last part is even more difficult, without lighter one can't see the most commonly route around.

Not too bad but the parts where you skipped through the recording or didnt even touch it at all were upsetting. And the fact you seemed to get lost a few times was a bit disappointing. Everything else was great tho. But what was the rope for? Was it for the bad ending or something?
This game was one of the most difficult I've played in years, easily one of Chilla's most difficult imo. No save point or checkpoint, if you died you had to start over from scratch. My video style was also semi evolving around then so I apologise for slip ups. You can use the rope on the roof to climb down for one of the endings. @@Kithzer I think it tracks the player's location live, like some ghost camera. The mask is harmless, but it can somehow trace where the player is moving and sometimes can even pass through walls. Not sure if it can travel through red portals, cuz the ghost pops out from there.
It's just an aesthetic thing. To capture the feel of old horror games. It's a different kind of scary. Just like you see a lot of indie games done in the style of NES and SNES. Nostalgia feel (or just lack of skill/resources).
