Small cap funds must be true-to-label and investors must check this to make sure they get what they are investing for. An investor must stay invested in small cap funds for the long term. A disciplined approach works better than a cautious or contrary approach. People who invest in equity funds irrespective of market conditions could generate wealth over time. JM Flexi Cap Fund doesnt follow a static approach. During Covid times the fund had a higher allocation towards large cap stocks for safety. Also when small cap stocks were doing very badly the fund increased allocation towards them.
