Goin' through your list.. Window strips dont need doing as they are both msport versions, so lucky me..
I put black kidney grills on my vert back a couple of years ago, but they really didnt suit the car... just gave them to a mate and put the chrome ones back on.... I think it all depends on what wheels you're using.. If i'd had black wheels i'd have probably kept the grilles... But with silver, the black looked awful.... Yet on my red one, they look great lol, matt finish..... They just look tacky on a black vert..
I have a set of original light surrounds each having twin projectors in them, so quad projectors, they look mint.. Had them 3 years sat on my kitchen cupboards lol... Never seen them before. Haven't got them on the car yet, but i think that will be done soon as i'm looking to finally finish my car... SMD LED halo's are the best to get. They'll last longer than the normal generic halo's.... And don't forget the CANBUS error cancellers or they'll be causing you issues with lights popping up on the clocks..
Red car has the bilstein shocks and Eibach springs setup -40mm...... Black vert i'm just about to do also as i just put some pretty wide wheels on it so i have to camber them to get them in the arches... I won't go silly cheap as i've read the reviews and i only wanna do the job once... Wanted BC's, but they're silly money. So the best cheaper that i've found are Raceland coilovers... They have a good rep it seems for cheaper coilovers.. Also just bought some Poweride adjustable drift camber control arms from Poland. for the black one with the wheel issue... Weren't cheap, but very well made. They're proper chunky..
Exhausts, something else i'm finally going to be getting done soon to my red one.. I managed to source an original msport twin (as-in left and right side of the car) rear valance/diffuser... Bought myself a pair of twin 3" DTM upswept tails from Lithuania, so 2 per side of the car, minus the rear box... So 2 straight-pipes in to the tails... You'll maybe find, depending on how far you go modding, that a lot of the parts may end up being found in countries you probably wouldn't expect.. My bonnet came from Romania lol.. That was a trek. ..... I have the pipework to do it, and bought a bender just for this lol... That wasn't cheap... As soon as i've done the mod i'll have to sell that bender as it's a lot of money to just sit there after doing one mission.. Only one of my cars is really modded as such.. The wheel swap on the black one kinda changed that a lil as i need some mods to make the wheels work on that car... All fun though :)
Other cheap mods, if anyone has an msport, the skirt kits can be got for really cheap if you know where to look.... i have 3 in total front splitters all from different manufacturers. But depending which one you use will depend on how much you'll pay, for basically the same kits. For example, a (best i don't name manufacturer lol) front splitter on its own is something like 180.... I just bought 2 kits, one for me and one for a mate, that's the front splitter, the 2 sideskirts and the 2 rear corners for 120 Each kit! lol... So look around before committing or you'll be throwing money away.. Cool video... Ta
Sounds like you’ve done a lot haha but yeah as you said some things don’t look as good as others but it’s all down to preference! Glad your builds coming along ok!
Cheers mate. And yes very true... Lots like dont like my mods, but i'm ok with that, it isn't for everyone... I got bored and needed something to do, that's what got me started. It kind of escalated a bit more than i'd originally planned. I wouldn't do it again, i'd hate to think what it's cost.
