Stronghold Crusader 2 is the long awaited sequel to Stronghold Crusader, the original 'castle sim'. I had a totally different take on this :-).
Started by getting Iron production from the south (the iron close to the keep was getting raped by Caliph), where the enemy rarely come. Also my source of income was Beer. Made only two wheat farms, and 4 bakeries. That was all but enough for 72 peasents ;). Then had all the other farmland covered with hops.. Regarding the stone production, I chose, like the iron, to get it from all the way south. Two quarries, and then a ton of ox tethers.
On the defence part, I started with just one great tower close to keep, and filled up with archers, and crossbowmen. Later on, I reinforced the walls around the keep and further out.
In addition to beer production, I made armor and crossbows ;-). Great for defence against Lionheart.
Word of advice - have a sassanid knight or 2 ready to take out trebuchets later on. And bring them back for healing immidiately after. ;-).
took out the caliph on the right first, then the left. And then whatever Richard were easiest ;).

I love how it took you until this deep into the game to discover that braziers cost 20 gold. ;) Thanks for your videos, they have helped me immensely. My skirmish trail games always seem much harder than yours, in that I am attacked far more often than you seem to be. Is there a difficulty setting somewhere?
Rage In Eden Hey, there are no such options for the Skirmish Trails. :) Maybe it's just the way I handle the missions. :)

SergiuHellDragoonHQ When you press restart and klick in the middle im able to klick easy or normal mode

Hey there, did you know you can actually buy 40 wood at once instead of 10 by holding the Shift-key while clicking? Just thought it might be helpful the next time you're gonna buy 1000 :D

Its seems no one bothers you until you take down the caliph. However when I play they attack me from almost every corner. Especially Richards came from north in the beginning. I dont know why.
i keep getting attacked by both richards on the left flank all the time how do you avoid this i get attacked from all sides right from the word go

dude i dont know if your lucky or becuase its a different patch but i did what you exactly did and the calif on my left is attacking me and attacking also richard..
When you buy HOLD SHIFT!! You'll buy more :) 40 instead of 10 = less clicks :)
