I love how the Kenyan runner gives water for the Ethiopian runner at 1:07:50 . She did that by knowing that the Ethiopian girl just failed to take away the water. I really touched by that sportsmanship incident. I wish for this Kenyan athelete a big success and I believe she will do it. Love to Kenyans from Ethiopia !

Actually the reason is that ia not a major road.. ia University of Ghana 🇬🇭 campus... If its were major highway we would have definitely blocked all the motorists from using its
Intense race there! I wish they had closed down the roads and the lead vehicle should have had its sirens turned off. As a marathon runner myself, I would find it so annoying. I can only imagine how these professional athletes felt. The close encounters with the lead vehicle had me nervous at times. I also wish there were fans or spectators on the roads. I will never take any of our half and full marathons for granted ever again, because our small races are better organised than this.
I can tell that this competetion has taken place in Africa. No commentators, no time indication, no motor bikes escorting the leading athlets. On the conterary, vehicles were freely moving on the course of the competetion. Oh! Africa.
What a shame nobody on the route site to offer water to this runner's. They should have studied the marathon run in New York city and Boston. Runners facing incoming cars was not appropriate.
There is more room for improvement, the starting was poor under no conditions should athletes share roads with vehicles.. Roads should be closed to vehicular traffic on such occasions.
