I went a few days ago to Alton and Thorpe, here is my synopsis of the ones on your list that i have ridden. Colossus: a head banger with the over the shoulder restraints but if you can get over it its pretty enjoyable Saw the ride: this ride has some wicked pacing and wild maneuvers, sit in a inner seat for the best experience Galactica: Its got the longest sustained time on your back, and a lot of near miss elements but does not really stack up against other flying coasters Swarm: Great ride with a lot of near miss elements and great theming, one of the more intense wing coasters ive ridden. Stealth: its got a punchy acceleration, but the ride is over way too fast Wicker man: You can feel the coaster is restricted by the height requirement, its got a lot of turns but lacks airtime, great preshow Smiler: This ride has gotten ROUGH over the years, I'm going to recommend you do an inner seat like saw, this coaster breaks down a lot so hit it early Nemisis: This ride is short but is intense and has one of the snappiest corkscrews I've ever ridden on Hyperia: my new number 3, just behind velocicoaster, It has a lot of ejector airtime and some wicked elements, must ride towards the back, try to hit this one at rope drop as it gets crowded and tends to be a bit unreliable.
some absolutely great rollercoasters on this list. the swarm is absolutely great, everything from the drop to the breaks is perfectly paced and it works so well. sik is 100 times better than colossus, YOURE GONNA LOVE IT
Great list! In terms of what you're sleeping on, Dragon's Fury at Chessington is one of the best spinning coasters out there and as a history buff you should also be excited for Vampire, even without the original trains this is a significant piece of Arrow history and I don't believe there are many of these swinging models around anymore.
Icon is unreal, the enso experience takes it to the next level such a brilliant ride! Smiler has got rough over the years but is still one of if not the most intense rides I’ve been on. Yet to ride Hyperia but the elements on it have the recipe for a really unique hyper coaster experience!
I'm excited for you getting to come to the UK! Your list is full of amazing coasters that I think you'll love. And I'm so glad you're visiting Flamingo Land! It's such an underrated park, and both Sik and Kumali are great coasters.
Hope u have fun I’m in the uk so I would reckoned going on ghost train at Thorpe park TRUST me it is one of the best walkthrough rides and is so well themed but don’t ruin it for you by spoiling it
I’ve not been to Blackpool, but my favourite UK roller coaster is currently Wicker Man. Wonderful atmosphere and a great back-row ride. Surprisingly, I enjoyed Nemesis Inferno most at Thorpe Park! Aside from good theming, Saw is just awful. It’s bearable in the back row but very painful in the front.
Galactica seems tame but really it can be quite forceful while your on it, and the drops while laying down feel phenomenal, it’s super smooth and so comfy and the way it goes through the inversions are amazing, such a great coaster
With my home park being Alton Towers I'd say don't expect any airtime at all from Wicker Man and if you have wide shoulders at all ride The Smiler as defensively as possible
For the big one, don’t expect it to be amazing, but don’t expect it to be horrific. I think it’s fun, but just a bit shallow. Also, I find Galactica very boring, so would like to see how you rate it
2:04 As someone who lives just down the road, that’s just an incomprehensible sentence. The town is a complete shithole. Also not a coaster, the Wallace And Gromit dark ride is one of my favourites in the park,so many Easter eggs for a nerd.
I’d say your really sleeping on Oblivion, even though it may not have the best layout, 2/3 of the drop are below ground, so as you hang of the edge, you just this steaming hole that you will dive into shortly. Very spooky. Also don’t miss the dark rides, at Towers: Curse at Alton Manor and Nemesis Sub Terra are two of the best dark rides in the uk (hex is closed) and the Blackpool ones are very charming and classic
I am definitely looking forward to Oblivion! I guess having been on the clone makes it slightly less exciting in advance, but I’m sure it’ll be great, I’ve always heard it’s better than the layout suggests
Unfortunately the new Drayton coaster is looking very unlikely, but I’ll be trying very hard to make sure I get on Hyperia, even if it means having to sacrifice a credit or two at Thorpe Park. It has number one potential for me
@@MaloneysCoasters Absolutely! Hit the ride first thing, and make good use of the single rider line on Hyperia. It can seriously save you a lot of time! There are many rides you can easily skip at Thorpe Park such as Tidal Wave (unless you really fancy walking around soaking wet and never drying in the British weather) and Ghost Train! Have a great trip.
If you're going to ride colossus and Sik, for god's sake do it in that order. Ride colossus first so Sik can show you what was intended. Or ride Sik first and then experience the crushing ( and smashing, and bashing, and banging) disappointment that will be colossus. Ever dropped a rock into a blender?
As someone from the Uk and lives only an hour away from Thorpe park… I’m surprised at some of these… nemesis track hasn’t changed just so you know. It’s the same track layout as the track they took away, the themeing was updated at Alton. There is also nemesis inferno at Thorpe which is great. But the fact you put galactic a in here above saw!? Man you are mad! Big dipper is crap as well. I get it as a coaster credit… but there are some real snoozes you have put in your top ten… and missed out some amazing better coasters. Swarm is great… but it’s not thrilling just a smooth coaster.. I think you will be disappointed by a couple of these.
I know what a retracking is. I'm referring to the fact that some reviews say the new track on Nemesis Reborn has a rattle, which might affect my opinion on the coaster compared to if I rode the original. You also seem extremely upset about my opinion on what MIGHT BE my opinion. This isn't my final ranking, this is the coasters I was PERSONALLY looking forward to the most. Saw was below Galactica because 1) I've already ridden a near-clone of Saw, and 2) Galactica would be a first for me for several reasons. So yes, I'm anticipating Galactica more than Saw. Just calm down - particularly with the tone and language. It's a roller coaster channel buddy, it's not that serious.
I didn't find it rough in the slightest. Even the Cobra roll which sometimes are wasn't. I don’t really find any of the roller coasters rough at Alton towers
This man sleeps on Nemesis Inferno
Nah bro it's kinda trash
Me too. It doesn't look THAT good, sorry. It's a b&m invert
and thirteen
I went to Thorpe a few days a go and also I would say Hyperia back row is sooo good

Congratulations on hitting 4k subs! It's unreal the direction you've been able to take the channel. The videos have been great.
Make sure at blackpool, you dont miss valhalla, defo a hidden gem and arguably the best there
best dark/ water ride ive ever been on hands down

I was just at Chessington today and you are VERY RIGHT on both counts 😉

Quick tip for big dipper and grand national sit in a non wheel seat for smoother experience especially on grand national. Good classics 🙂👍

i saw you at alton towers today, i did nemesis sub-terra at the same time as you and not going to lie, i thought it was a bit crap!
Do not sit on a wheel seat on any of the Blackpool woodies! They’re all back row rides, but go 2nd to the back to avoid roughness.
I was the ginger in your group today on nemesis sub terra, tbh I enjoyed it but it wasn’t worth the wait at all
Also fairly sure I saw you in the queue for Rita
Great video mate - earned a sub!
For the big one, don’t expect it to be amazing, but don’t expect it to be horrific. I think it’s fun, but just a bit shallow. Also, I find Galactica very boring, so would like to see how you rate it
Were you at Thorpe Park on the 1st of July? I feel like I might have seen you in one of the queue lines
I sure was!

You should rank this trips coasters AFTER riding too
Absolutely working on it! There are some surprises both good and bad 👀 I’ll be getting back to editing after my trip
Oblivion is much better than diving machine due to the tunnel, so it might suprise you
Been looking forward to this! Hope you get Hyperia and the new Drayton coaster.
Hope you get some sunshine, but prepare for rain! 😂

Because I’m from Australia, where flights to Taiwan are affordable and flights to the UK are not so much
