Great memories of Flamingo Land with my Mum who passed away last year, so this park will always have a place in my heart. 💜 Your reaction to Hero was hilarious, that ride battered my shins! Definitely a one and done ride 🤣

We had a trip over to Flamingo Land on a weekday after the opening weekend, and I genuinely don't think I've been to a theme park on a quieter day. There couldn't have been more than 20 guests as *every single ride* was a walk on! We got on every ride, and had the train to ourselves every time. The only exception was Kumali - we actually had to go around to try to find another group who wanted to ride as they couldn't dispatch without at least 6 riders! One of the best days I've had at any park, it genuinely felt like we'd hired it out for us exclusively.
We met you there on Saturday, and it was nice to know that you are both just as kind & approachable in person! Love watching your videos including your other channel too!

@@kkrispy2009P They were very kind, some people can be very rude. We met them as soon as the park opened, they started the vlog a little while after we met them, but I’m sure if fans asked they wouldn’t mind including them in the videos
Kumali may be widely considered better, but the one ride I had on Odyssey in the rain when I wasn’t tall enough to headbang will always have a place in my heart. The vertical loop felt like it lasted forever, the rain was so disorientating to have it coming from below you. It changed my life and I can’t wait to get back on it now I’m older even if it’s rough!
It’s such a beast of a ride!

We did visit American adventure.... when my lads were small, probably nearly 25 years ago. I did enjoy the 'Boomerang' coaster and even the virtual coaster, think there was another large one too? I reckon my lads enjoyed Sooty squirting me with water more on the day? One thing though? I didn't fancy going in that big ball supported by bungees!
Great video both, shame about the weather. I went to American Adventure when it was in its prime...fantastic park, my Dad has some old pictures of our time there, I miss it loads.

Hero what a back breaking ride
Used to go to American Adventure, i still have the early 1990s maps and souvenir guides!

Yes Shaun, American Advenure was one of my first parks as a kid. Used to have incredible Western themed area if my childhood memories serve?
Bit of a trek for me to get to but I really need to make the journey this year. I can't call myself a legit enthusiast until I've done Hero. 😂

I went for the day and sik was closed all day and my friend asked her parents if I could go in her caravan with them for a night so I got on sik twelve time last weekend lol
both times I went the longest queue all day was abt 20 minutes right at the end of the when everyone was tryna pack a few more rides in before going home

Another good vlog, really enjoyed 100%. Love the look of Sik, wonder what this parks next big project will be in future? Maybe a RMC Hybrid Coaster? GCI Wooden Coaster or something unique? Bigger like on scale of Exodus? Be epic for all thrill enthusiasts lol. Pirate show thought was a good type of Pantomime for all to enjoy, think if not all were singing, could all sing instead of voiceovers. Unless they were not recorded and all were singing & saying lines live? If all live, then ok. Shame racing bike coaster wasn't open, love those types and would one day love to ride these types in future. Look fun, but good video, really enjoyed & always look forward to next. 😀👍

Cliff hanger has to be the best drop and launch tower in the UK.. Though I've never ridden Bounce at Oakwood, I hear thats back open now after all these years being SBNO
Love Flamingoland but I find the layout a bit strange. Things just feel like they've been put wherever without thinking about forming themed areas. Velocity's a great coaster and one of my favourites but it deserves a bit of theming or landscaping and a proper station building and queue line instead of the metal shed sat on concrete that it has now.
Kamali goes 56 or something mph from that drop

I went on the 1st April and I loved it, it was the day before the school holidays so there was no queues and we went on all the main rides multiple times. Sic is always great, but after the tenth ride on it the bars start to hurt your legs on the inversions 😂

This year im finally going to be able to go on some bigger rides as i used to be terrified hoping the park will be nice and dry and the rides will all be open for most of the week. Great video yet again TPW, watching all your flamingo land videos ready for later this month!

I haven't been to Flamingo land sense Thunder mountain was there, If anyone is old enough to remember that little gem.

I like the look of this park and the coasters, especially Sik, was disapointed that Colossus wasnt ready when we visted Thorpe Park last weekend, it looks like a really good ride and we will definatley be back to ride it, probably next year when the new coaster opens. We will have to visit this park too as Sik looks awsome and so do the other coasters.

I forget sometimes that flamingo land is only like 40 miles from where i live i used to go a lot during summer when I was a kid its super nostalgic for me
came a couple weeks ago, i thought the rides were great but operations were just shocking. also, my sister went on pterodactyl about 10 times! i was unlucky not to get on mumbo jumbo because of bad queues which i regret not going on, but oh well. favourite ride was probably kumali, though. well worth another visit in my opinion!
The moaning on the HERO ride my GF shouted through from the other room thought I was watching Porn 😅

Great vlog makes me really wabt to visit flamingo land, and i remember american adventure used to go there when i was a kid core memories
I do think the ride system for Mischief Mansion needs either being refurbished, or replaced with a modern version that hopefully has a better capacity and doesn't snail through the layout!
The actual props and set pieces in there are still some of the best in the UK for me personally, and it seems that the lighting for this year has drastically improved! They just need to fix the animation and certain sound effects, that and a few licks of paint here and there.

Wow the little dark ride opened when I was still at school and I’m 34 now, can’t believe it’s still going! Cute! I haven’t been to flamingo land in over 15 years and this vlog has really made me want to go back! Sik looks amazing and my partner does love a zoo!
SIK is such an epic ride!
“Hero” without doubt the worst most uncomfortable rollercoaster in the UK. “Sik” probably one of the finest.
Yes I remember The American Adventure at Ilkeston. I made many visits there. Sad it ever closed but I heard it couldn’t compete with the nearby Alton Towers. “The Missile” was my favourite ride, (now at Pleasurewood Hills). Great vlog as ever guys.

Thanks again for this video. Had a brilliant day at Flamingo Land today. Loads to do for kids. Best of all, bumped into a family from my kids’ school who looked after the 5 year old for ten minutes while me and the 8 year old went on Hero and Cliffhanger. Yes, I said ten minutes. No queue at all for either! I know what you mean about Hero, not the most comfortable. But I thought it was fun and a good first invert for my daughter.

I really want to try sik. The problem is that if I go to flamingo land, I also have to ride hero! I am hoping to visit sometime this year, as I think sik could potentially beat icon, or at least nemesis
Haven’t been to this park before, but hope to one day, even if it’s just to visit the zoo.
My third visit of ‘23 to Flamingo Land today and I finally got to ride Sik. It’s AMAZING! Can’t remember if we managed 6 or 7 rides on Sik despite it being down til about 2pm. Been to the park with the kids the last two times and Mumbo Jumbo was as intense as I could persuade them. Loved Sik and loved Velocity, the two new-to-me rides today. Unfortunately Kumali was down virtually all day. Got on every other thrill ride multiple times though. Such a brilliant park for all the family. The zoo was brilliant too.

We were there the same day quite few ride were down a lot of the day sik broke down as we were in the queue still managed to get on it a couple times

i remember going in secondary school and absolutely hating hero, the pain was never worth the fun and it hurt before the ride even started 🤣

On Hero you really have to hold on, I went on and when you go upside down your feet don’t really stay on the bars. It’s scary and a bit painful but very fun

Going to flamingo land in june! I havent been in 6 years and the last time that i went i was too small for most of the rides. I am over the moon to be going again!
