      The Texans were up 24-0 on the cheifs. The the chiefs put up 51, to the texans 7. Your not going to beat the chiefs with 20 points or a 10 point lead. Kyle Shanahan should have used every available second he could to put up as many points as he could. His decisions in that game were some of the dumbest I've ever seen.

    • @moneymaker2405

      @@TheRebelutionary1 and look what happened. If he would've gotten a field goal before halftime, the 49ers would've been down by 1 point instead of 4 after the chiefs first took over the lead in the 4th quarter. This would've led to less pressure on the offense to score and only needing a field goal instead of a td. Stupid coaching.

      @benjiarehart2878 Před 4 lety +7

      @@alphatrusbensiii8381 I believe it made a huge impact. Getting the momentum back for a team is monumental. Just like that failed 4th down conversion for the Texans. The momentum really got shifted after the return fumble. Some how after that play, you could see the inevitable comeback by KC. Botched scenarios like these have a bigger impact on a game than given credit for. Especially if you've ever played the game, and watch it play out first hand. Your confidence either deflates, or rises to the challenge. Just go on a fan website, and read the negativity of a fanbase when momentum changes. You'll see how fast a fanbase can lose confidence. I have been guilty of that to be honest.

    • @benjiarehart2878
      @benjiarehart2878 Před 4 lety +11

      @@Rubenowski To score. He let his foot off the pedal. It wasnt like he had a 2 score lead. And yes, having a 2 score lead over KC doesn't gaurentee anything. If nothing else, get in field goal range, and give your kicker a shot. They had these timeouts, and the ball with a over a minute left on that drive. May not sound like much, but with 3 timeouts, it's very doable. A touchdown was doable. They had enough time to run the ball if they chose. Instead Shanahan waited till there was 14 seconds left to use one. After Kittle got O-pass interference. By then they weren't even in field goal range. I get it though. It would probably not even have been mentioned if they had won, but I still disagree with that decision, among others the 49'rs coaches made. Just my opinion.

      The run game was working, and gave the Defence time to rest on the sidelines.
      Instead, Kyle decided to throw the ball. Why??? If the Niners had a 22+-point lead in the 4th quarter then sure, go for it...but they didn't. They should have kept running because winning is ALL that matters.

      I’m tired of hearing about the Seattle Seahawks and how Stupid Pete Carroll was by his play call? 1st of all, it was 1st down & one @ the 1 yard line. So technically the Seahawks could have rushed the ball 3 more x’s if that one yard slant to Richardo Lockett wasn’t intercepted? ( Also, it looked like Malcolm Butler jumped the route and possibly did some offensive pass interference?) Either way, the plan was if the slant wasn’t OPEN? Wilson would just throw the ball out of bounds, and could have rushed “BeastMode!” 3x’s if need be? And obviously if that slant route worked? Everyone would have said what a BRILLIANT play call! To surprise the Patriot’s and throw the ball vs the rush❗️Isn’t that part of Football? Strategy is involved...They we’re trying to surprise them and it backfired on them. Plain & simple.
      However, you cannot describe the Seahawks and how they lost the Super Bowl? To the way the 49’ers lost SB 54...There’s nothing to compare whatsoever! The 49’ers were up 21-10 in the 4th quarter. In 6 minutes & some change...The Chief’s scored 21 UNANSWERED POINTS. Talk about a choke job? Then to hear that they were partying as if they had just won the Super Bowl...And for them to be so cocky that they think they’re practically guaranteed to make it back next year...Lol..That’s funny! Jimmy “G” could tear his ACL in the 1st game next season? There’s so many things that have to go exactly their way❗️Yet, 1 bad play? Season is OVER...#49’ersWhiners are such great losers!

      @@JJDonoghue Absolutely no pass interference. He has as much right to the ball as the receiver. He actually gets to the ball first. He has the same right to go catch the ball as the receiver. You seem to think the defender needs to step back. He doesn't. If both players go for the ball there is going to be contact. There is no interference. The defender has the right to go for the ball. Can't make it any clearer. I don't think it was a bad play call though. It was an amazing play by Butler. Sadly buffoons like Smith here attack Carroll and basically take away Butler's play. Butler, as an undrafted free agent rookie, makes maybe the greatest play in Super Bowl history and all these idiots like Smith can do is act like a jackass. Chiefs were in his face all day. San Francisco wasn't able to run up the middle against the defense that held Derrick Henry to one yard on 2nd and 5, no gain on 3rd and 2, and to 7 yards total in the second half! Niners were being forced to run end arounds with the ever-present danger of losing a whole lot of yards.

      Ronald Jackson literally all they had to do was run the clock out in the fourth quarter to give pat as little time as possible and run for first downs. They had like 52 second time of possession each time when in the first half they had running plays that ate up like 5 mins of clocktime. Bad play calling, bad passing in second half.

      Melvin Anderson And why is Pete Carroll associated with Super Bowl loser Shanahan? Yes, Pete has 1 “brainfart!” While the 49’ whiner’s gave up 21 UNANSWERED POINTS... And all this talk that the 9’ers are a lock to make it back to Super Bowl 56? Why don’t ya ask Mcvay about that dilemma?
      Obviously, we see the key 🔑 to win at least 1 Super Bowl? Must have a helluva QB on a ROOKIE SALARY! Mahomes is going to ask for $150+ Million most likely next year? Let’s see how Andy plays the salary CAP?

    Why do people keep complaining about the end of the first half? Even if they called the timeouts, they weren’t going to score, and they didn’t want to give KC the ball back. The problem was in the 4th quarter when the 49ers refused to run the ball when everyone on the planet knew they should be running the ball. Shanahan literally did the same thing with Atlanta. How did he not learn his lesson?

  • @DanielMing1993
    @DanielMing1993 Před 4 lety +26

    Can’t blame anyone. It was just a good game. Chiefs turned it on when they needed and 49ers couldn’t answer. 49ers had to mix the run and pass. Can’t compare this to Seattle because it didn’t come down to one play.
