Pete Carroll: "I'm gonna pass at the half yard line with a chance to go up 31-28 with less than a minute left in the Super Bowl instead of running Marshawn Lynch." Kyle Shanahan: "Hold my beer."
I’m tired of hearing about the Seattle Seahawks and how Stupid Pete Carroll was by his play call? 1st of all, it was 1st down & one @ the 1 yard line. So technically the Seahawks could have rushed the ball 3 more x’s if that one yard slant to Richardo Lockett wasn’t intercepted? ( Also, it looked like Malcolm Butler jumped the route and possibly did some offensive pass interference?) Either way, the plan was if the slant wasn’t OPEN? Wilson would just throw the ball out of bounds, and could have rushed “BeastMode!” 3x’s if need be? And obviously if that slant route worked? Everyone would have said what a BRILLIANT play call! To surprise the Patriot’s and throw the ball vs the rush❗️Isn’t that part of Football? Strategy is involved...They we’re trying to surprise them and it backfired on them. Plain & simple. However, you cannot describe the Seahawks and how they lost the Super Bowl? To the way the 49’ers lost SB 54...There’s nothing to compare whatsoever! The 49’ers were up 21-10 in the 4th quarter. In 6 minutes & some change...The Chief’s scored 21 UNANSWERED POINTS. Talk about a choke job? Then to hear that they were partying as if they had just won the Super Bowl...And for them to be so cocky that they think they’re practically guaranteed to make it back next year...Lol..That’s funny! If he played like that the whole game, then the Chiefs wouldve won by 3-4 scores and Jimmy G would've been throwing the whole 4th qrtr for more picks.
It was a winnable Superbowl for the 49ers which they had it but went away from what was working. 49ers tried to change things up to throw Kansas City off but Kansas City already knew 49ers were going to change things up in the back of their mind and 49ers should of just stuck to running the football because you can set it up to make them think pass but actually make it a run play.
It was his fault and last night proved it. How do you go away from the run when it was working for you all game. Deebo Samuel had the Chiefs defense on their heels.
There is no way around it - Kyle Shanahan made a lot of highly questionable decisions in this SuperBowl and they went a long way towards costing his team the game.
That is why I think the NFL had a say in the gamer. Between the Refs and the very questionable play calling at the end of both halfs, it has to make you wonder. I am super happy for Andy Reid. He is a great coach and an over all great person. The NFL got what it wanted. Personally I think they were mad at the Niners for smoking their dream match up of the Packers vs KC.
Nobody said that last week. They dominated the Packers with the run game. It's been their strength all season. It's obvious Shanahan doesn't have trust in Jimmy G. He throws at least 1 boneheaded INT in most games.
Once again, for the 2nd time in a SB, Kyle Shanahan managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Need to make his dad coach & Kyle his assistant.
28-3. Ran the ball five times after establishing a 25 point lead. I told niners fans to not get too happy. I watched him do it all season long in 2016.
Stephen A. is right, Kyle ran away from his team strength, his team was leading double digits in the 4th quarters and he continued to call for passing the ball.
@Thomas Long absolutely I do I am a 49ers fan I knew before the game started KC was gonna win and I am not even telepathic with a 50 year drought in the line and Andy Reid getting his first was too big of a story to pass up and twice San francisco had a chance to run out the clock and score last especially at the 149 mark with 3 time outs and only down 4 so what do they do start rushing plays and throwing when there first play was a run and got them 16 yards so you get away from what worked all season to risk passing and not killing the clock no coach is that dumb unless it's done on purpose just like the Atlanta game could not even get hold that huge lead and the pete Carroll blunder and Brett Favre having a chance to run for a first down and his team would have kicked it for the win instead throws it sideways and gets an interception and new Orleans wins and just happens to be the season right after the flood ok these are designed for TV ratings

Jimmy “G” could tear his ACL in the 1st game next season? There’s so many things that have to go exactly their way❗️Yet, 1 bad play? Season is OVER...#49’ersWhiners are such great losers!
@@JJDonoghue Absolutely no pass interference. He has as much right to the ball as the receiver. He actually gets to the ball first. He has the same right to go catch the ball as the receiver. Stephan A Smith is so annoying, he’s never even touched a football.
Couldnt even play basketball, failed at that also.
Can’t stand SAS! Expert at running his dam mouth!
And dont know nothing about mma either!
He gets paid for his opinion nobody cares about yours
Thomas Moncrief Exactly
When Mostert didn't start the game. I knew they were gonna lose and had a poor gameplan.
T Mat the honey badger was the missing link on that defense. No #32 NO RING 😭😭
MILLENNIAL HD TV you could just google how to spell his name
Frank Clark too. That man showed up in thr 4th quarter. He was on fire.
@@tjgulley too lazy to 😂😂
Let's not sleep on Fuller and Breeland
@@YoungDen agreed. Spagnuolo had all his players performing at a very high level, when the game mattered most.
He's a kid! In a man's game... Andy Reed is a Legend.
Throwing away 59 seconds and 3 timeouts is a turnover.
this is a good comment
Exactly 💯
Molly: Scared money don’t make NO money
Jalen: Molly honey you making me look bad, just take the No out plz
She quoting Jeezy bars
Molly sounds like she used to shoot craps in the 90s that's a gambling term

Jalen Rose already look bad both of them lame there where she got it from he rubbed off on her.
Does everyone have to shout on this show.
Tp be heard over Stephen A smith you have to shout
Yes they indorse it on this show. Its weird I agree
YES!!!
The 49ers gave the game away smfh. The RB was unstoppable but HEY, LETS JUST THROW FOR THE REST OF THE GAME KNOWING JIMMY G CANT THROW UNDER PRESSURE
MrAVGNdude yeah they got it right last game when the only let him throw 8 times, don’t know what they were thinking
yeah but chiefs took they heart
The chiefs had shut down the run game in the 4th quarter that’s why they started to throw
I been saying Jimmy g can't play under pressure and Richard Sherman was getting burned too LMFAO
@@christian-gu5oq LMFAO. What game were you watching. On the Niners last 3 drives, they ran the ball 2 times and gained 22 yards hahaha. Chiefs didn't stop anything. Their defenders admitted they were happy the Niners stopped running the ball.
Here is Kyle's new nickname Kyle "I blew two fourth quarter leads" Shanahan
Cringe
Mr 28-3 fits him just right. Lol
Umm Superbowl leads..thas important to point out lmao
Terry Kimball very original
@@danielcoronado1366
He's now Mr. 20-10
Its crazy that D bo Samuel got no touches in the 4th quarter
Shid, did he get any in the 3rd?
@@a100percentReal
Probably not.
"Modern day version of Pete Carroll" I thought he was still coaching.
How long ago does he think that Super Bowl was? Lol.
Lol man if russ had kyle shannhan as a OC he winning multiple superbowls.
Zach Henry Pete Carroll blew the Super Bowl between the Packers and Patriots the same way. (My dad is a Patriots Fan, and he remembers it) That’s what SAS meant. He alluded to the Butler interception because of the players reactions were similar to SF.
that's SAS Elocuting lol
@@m.c.martin Your Dad got a faulty memory because Bill Parcells was the coach of that team
Molly wanna be so hip hop 😂😂😂😂😂
Respect to Jalen rose but id like to hip hop molly.
well she did marry into the community
Bryant Adams No respect to Jalen Rose. None.
Ha ha ha!
She's married to Halen Rose? Really.....
Stephen A. is a modern-day version of George Jefferson. Allow me to explain.
“Weezie, get me the remote!”
😂😂😂😂
The George Jefferson of sports talk. No doubt about it 😂
Richard Sherman curse 😂
Patrick Mahomes: It's over Jimmy G I have the high ground
Shannahan: You under estimate his powerrrr!!
Mahomes is not Obi-Wan maybe if he beats Tom Brady in the Super Bowl at least have to fight off all the great Sith Lord before being called Obi-Wan
Anyone considered that the Chiefs “just” beat those guys ? Yes the Chiefs were behind about 3/4 of the game , yes the 49er defense gave Mahomes problems throughout the game , probably made him play his most difficult game , but he and the Chiefs over cane their opponent and WON ! “ I get it though”, Stephen A and all the rest of the Scribes have a job to do 😆
49ers looked like the better team but gave the cheifs the game, it was pretty obvious. Better team doesnt always win. Like the giants beat the Pat's in 2007. Pat mahomes didn't even play good but nobody will ever remember that. Some teams win games off another teams mistakes and there is nothing wrong with that. That's just what I've noticed in my lifetime of watching football.
49ers went away from what got them there and it’s the coaches fault botteline
I just lost $50 on the 49ers they failed me
At least you didn't bet your house on them 😭😭
I just won $80 in the office Super Bowl office PROP best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which will be HIGHER - Westbrook's stat line vs Mahomes' passing attempts? lol
@BjtooSweeT That’s sports for you. But $50 ain’t too bad.
I won £400 that’s about 500 of your America dollars on that 4th quarter I had a Lump on chiefs -7 hahahaha
Which never had a right to win when I went to bed after the Mahomes pick’s.
It took almost EIGHT years for the Country to find out and realize FIRST as a Redskins fan. Kyle Shanahan is an arrogant fluke. Two Super Bowls lost because he cannot coach consistently.
They picked the wrong game to feature Jimmy G instead of running the ball
Yes agree! You don't wait untill the Big game to see if your boy can do it! .??? You do it early on in the season in the games that don't matter as much! Not during the playoffs and MOST DEFINITELY NOT THE SUPER BOWL!!! 😠😠😠 ???
Pete Carrol: once upon a time I choked so hard in the Super Bowl, it tore the team apart
Kyle Shanahan: I got this one, don’t worry
jimmy can't find the g spot when it most matters. btw brady could have won that game with 49s line
Brady couldve won that game with Kittle alone lol all he needs is a good TE
Jim Carlson you mean "would" have.
Kamokase705 nah, Brady needs a good coach, they would have lost with him too, score would have just been alittle closer
jimmy g shoulda made that throw to sanders in the 4th. he overthrew him big time.
Kyle Freitas but he can’t throw under pressure
Exactly. Pretty boy choked.
Chiefs were in his face all day. San Francisco wasn't able to run up the middle against the defense that held Derrick Henry to one yard on 2nd and 5, no gain on 3rd and 2, and to 7 yards total in the second half! Niners were being forced to run end arounds with the ever-present danger of losing a whole lot of yards.
Jimmy G choked. If that had been Mahomes making that throw, it would have been money in the bank.
Yeah mahomes would’ve made that throw cuz the chiefs were holding all game lol
"Kyle Shanahan, you just blew your 2nd Super Bowl. Whatcha gonna do now?"
Kyle: "I'm going to Branson, Missouri."
Richard Shaw lol Branson is good for meth, but that’s about it.
“Niners should have run the ball” is the new “Seahawks should have run the ball”
Fecxor Fecxor but worse for niners. We’re comparing one play while trailing, vs multiple plays with the lead
What's next, the Cardinals not running it?
Is this an NFC West thing ?
I know It's a different situation but the Rams didn't really run the ball either against the Patriots last year.
@Craig Carson finally good insight that should put all this what if stuff to rest. Thank you Craig Carson.
A lot of people are gonna blame the refs for this one, but they overlook the fact that Shanahan choked in the Super Bowl again
Kyle wasn't fearful in his play calling! He just tried to out trick them with Jimmy G throwing. Just bad decisions that's all🤷🏿♂️
Ronald Jackson literally all they had to do was run the clock out in the fourth quarter to give pat as little time as possible and run for first downs. They had like 52 second time of possession each time when in the first half they had running plays that ate up like 5 mins of clocktime. Bad play calling, bad passing in second half.
He did what the titans did. Tried to do the opposite of what got you to the dance
"Bad Decision"...in the BIGGEST game....Twice.. Shanahan's a moron
Totally wrong just cuz your passing doesn't mean your confident. If your scared you need a 1st and its 2nd and 6 you pass 2 plays in a row cuz your scared you won't get it running doesn't mean that your confident
Arrogant is the word, like his old man
Stephen A. could be a little more passionate.
1:51 Watch that for Molly's highlight of this video. Excellent loud paper flipping just to look like you are doing something, then slam the paper into the table just to annoy everyone. Perfect execution.
🤣🤣🤣
"Miss managing clocks" 😂😂😂
Lets be honest here. Stop beating around the bush. Kyle acted just like Pete. Neither of them wanted "us" to be in the camera and earning the SB MVP award. So they wanted the QB. That planned backfired.
So you're saying Pete didn't want a black rb winning the MVP cuz he wanted a black QB winning it?
Melvin Anderson And why is Pete Carroll associated with Super Bowl loser Shanahan? Yes, Pete has 1 “brainfart!” While the 49’ whiner’s gave up 21 UNANSWERED POINTS... And all this talk that the 9’ers are a lock to make it back to Super Bowl 56? Why don’t ya ask Mcvay about that dilemma?
Obviously, we see the key 🔑 to win at least 1 Super Bowl? Must have a helluva QB on a ROOKIE SALARY! Mahomes is going to ask for $150+ Million most likely next year? Let’s see how Andy plays the salary CAP?
The Chiefs had the guts to make the big plays. Huge
coaching difference.😎
The real difference is Andy Reid>Kyle Shanahan.
It wasn’t fear, it was likely ego. He was swing for home runs constantly.
jmiogo I totally agree, I think Kyle wanted to prove that through the air his team could win. Bad choice.
Stephen A. is full of it. He's got more anonymous sources than the National Enquirer Magazine.
he is a liar, just making sh*t up as he goes... he couldn't pass a lie detector test
Why do people keep complaining about the end of the first half? Even if they called the timeouts, they weren’t going to score, and they didn’t want to give KC the ball back. The problem was in the 4th quarter when the 49ers refused to run the ball when everyone on the planet knew they should be running the ball. Shanahan literally did the same thing with Atlanta. How did he not learn his lesson?
Can’t blame anyone. It was just a good game. Chiefs turned it on when they needed and 49ers couldn’t answer. 49ers had to mix the run and pass. Can’t compare this to Seattle because it didn’t come down to one play.
Daniel Lewis the ball needs to be ran with 6 minutes left in the Super Bowl
When their defenders openly admit they are glad the Niners stopped running, that tells you the real story.
Lol. Ok ray Charles
Anony moose define color people racist?
@anony moose typical stereotypical comment. And its coming from Esua, why should I be suprised. Its so idiotic, shouldn't even had commented, just couldn't let a nethadral get that off on my watch. A women being hired and "colored ppl" as you say didnt cost them the game. The coach ruined the game for Frisco with his play calling and lack of aggression.
