I love Louisiana fish fry. I found a new one in a red bag and it's awesome!! This fryer is badass... Cook for an army!!! I love deep fried food so much!!! I'm super hungry now!!! Killer video!!!
+Cookin with Surfin Sapo Thanks for watching Sapo. Is that the spicy one? I think I saw it in the store yesterday. Yes, this fryer makes it easy. I fried all the food we had in about 8 to 10 minutes. Can't wait to have a party and fry fish for a bunch.
The Red Cajun Louisiana Fish Fry is So Good!
Great video Sir! Canadian boy here, and the info about coookin' the shrimp until they're "C shaped" makes sense. Thank you!
Thanks for watching Jerry. Living on the Gulf Coast there is no shortage of fresh shrimp for us.
that fryer is a keeper for sure...I seen some good fryers like that at the Bass Pro Shop...Awesome.
+Ray Mack's Kitchen and Grill Thanks for watching Ray Mack. I got this one at Bass Pro because I didn't want to wait for shipping from the manufacturer. My wife laughs at my need for instant gratification. She didn't laugh at the fish and shrimp though. LOL
Saw or have seen. Learn to speak properly
I bought the 6gal. This is by far the best video on the fryer. Thanks man.
j nett Thank you and thanks for watching. I have been using this fryer for over a year now and just love it.
Man, I greatly appreciate what you do. Thank you
Thanks for watching and for the nice comment. It's my pleasure.
Very good video thanks, just order two burner Cajun fryer
Ronnie Kotler If you have as good of luck as I did you will love it. Still using mine about once a week. Thanks for watching.
Randy. that fryer is fantastic. I wish I used a fryer more often, I would buy one. Thanks for another great video.
Hey Mark. Thanks for watching. It is fantastic. Now I feel obligated to fry something at least once a week. We love fried fish so it wont be a problem.
Super great fryer Randy.
You can cook up some goodness for the entire neighborhood. You must throw some great parties!
Mostly for family Joe. I love cooking and sharing. Only thing I love more than cooking and eating is watching other people enjoy my food. Thanks for watching and checking in Joe
What a cool fryer, Randy! Something I probably shouldn't be thinking of getting though. That ol' wooden deck would go up in flames quickly if I'm not extra careful. I'll enjoy it vicariously through your videos!
+SmokeyGoodness Funny thing is the way it is designed, but bottom of the oil reservoir never gets hotter than 120, even when frying at 350. I will try to cook in it often so you can vicariously enjoy "our" cooker. LOL Thanks for watching.
+SmokeyGoodness Oh, also Dan, if you have ideas for fry videos in our fryer, let me know. Will definitely be doing a turkey around thanksgiving.
Really liking the new fryer! Food came out perfect. How many gallons does that one hold? My Bayou Classic says 4 gallons, but 4 gallons isn't enough. It's really more like 4.5 to 5 gallons.
+Smoky Ribs I put in 10 gallons but that is too much. It calls for 8.5 which is probably pretty close to what it needs. I need to drain a little because at 10 gallons, once the oil heats up it gets over the top of the baskets.
Nice looking fish and shrimp thanks for posting up.
+Texas Style Cuisine Thanks for watching. It tasted as good as it looked.
that was some fine frying right there.
+No Hippie BBQ & Cooking That fryer turned out some fine fish and shrimp.
i like this fryer man gotta get one bass pro sold out must be very good
I sure enjoy cooking in mine. Thanks for watching.
Awesome Video Demonstration, and perfectly cooked Seafood.
Thanks for watching! One of my favorite meals and this R&V fryer makes it so easy.
Hey Randy that is one awesome fryer my friend :-) All that food looks excellent, don't eat it all as we be right over for some lol :-) A "BIG" thumbs up :-) Have a great weekend :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!!
+MrMegaFredZeppelin Thanks for watching Fred. I am going to do it again soon and this time with fresh peeled fries. I am not sure if I will make my own hush puppies as these are soooo good straight out of the bag.
that's some fine fish frying. you made me hungry. good video 👌👌
Thank you and thanks for watching. It takes a bit to warm up but when it is ready it frys a whole meal right quick like.
I'm ordering the 81/2 gal cooker today. I believe its just what I need. Great Video
James Nathaniel Thanks for watching and for commenting.
The 8 1/2 gallon model will cook a lot of food fast, but it does take a while to warm up. 15 to 20 minutes I am guessing. I've never actually timed it.
Man, that fish looked perfect! Gives me an idea for a Taco Tuesday video. Thumbs up!
+Aim'em and Claim'em Smokers Fish tacos with a mango salsa, or some kind of slaw maybe. Whatever you do I know it will be great. I love fish or shrimp tacos. Thanks for checking in James.
How long does the oil usually last before having to change it out?
It depends on how much you use it, etc. I have been changing the oil out about every 6 months and have not noticed a big change in flavor or performance at that interval. Thanks for the question.
Cool, am already Sub'd to you, just found this video. Think we have spoken about your three attack dogs appearing through the glass door, re the Blackstone.... Looks like a great fryer. Am thinking about getting the 4 gallon unit. Have you ever done a Turkey. Thx
joey b I haven't, but thought about it. Thanks for watching. All the attack dogs are still doing fine.
Excellent video, I'm thinking about purchasing one of the fryers. How long does it take the oil to cool for removal? I plan on using the fryer away from home.
Thanks for watching. Gosh, I have never timed the cool down time. Wish I could have helped on that question.
@@RashleysBorderQue Thanks for the reply!
Thanks for the vid- Can i use this in an semi-indoor commercial kitchen set up?
As long as there is sufficient air circulation you should be alright. If it is totally enclosed the lawyers make us warn you that it is not advised. It shouldn't be a lot worse than any propane device aka stoves, etc. Thanks for watching and commenting.
+Rashley's BorderQue thanks for the reply, what do you think about the propane usage? Does it use a lot of propane, where it won't be feasible in a commercial kitchen.
+Dax Kissoon I am not sure. I havent relly tracked how many hours it will run on a tank.
I noticed on your video of the 8.5 fryer you installed a after market drain valve. What size is it?
Thanks for the question and for watching. It is a 1 inch ball valve. The threads in the R&V are 1 inch female so I also bought a 1inch male close nipple to put between the outlet of the fryer and the ball valve which also has female threads. I hope that helps.
how often do you use the fryer? Im debating about getting the 4 or 6 gallon one but I'm unsure of how much use it will get.
I use it about twice a month. I changed the oil after the first 6 months.
do you keep the oil in the fryer at all times until its ready to be thrown out and changed or do you drain it?
I leave the oil in the fryer until I change it. I haven't had a probelm with it going rancid.
Sweet video. I want to come to your house!
Thanks for watching. Just fried up some fish and shrimp last night.
Dose this cooker fry chicken as well as fish
James Nathaniel Thanks for watching. Yes it does. Anything that can be deep fried can be cooked in one. I'm not sure how much the flavors will carry over between cooks.
I see that.
LOL
When do you change or store the oil
I change it out about every 6 months unless it gets stale smelling before that. So far about 6 months.
Rashley's BorderQue pppp
Do the casters lock?
certainllc Thanks for the question. No the casters do not lock. Has been a non issue for me but your situation may vary If on uneven deck, etc.
