@@PorygoNad I always said that if that thing was buffed to no longer be unsafe on hit (preferably with super armor to replicate the HP sacrifice in the actual games), it would compete with Witch Time as the most busted move in the game, and even as it was it was still easily the best edgeguarding tool in the whole game. Everyone laughed. Now that it ha intangibility and causes hitlag like the other counters, and still annihilates every recovery with a hitbox, nobody dares laughing at me anymore...
There's no Substitute for cool Greninja plays.

Jokes aside, no other counter in smash can spike, so that’s a win right there.

Shadowdeath 47 greninja's counter can come out in eight different directions making it great for mix up and adapting for an optimal punish, you didn't see it much in 4 because of how slow it was, but with the buff in ultimate it's pretty strong now.
Matt Toy oh yeah definitely, I tried using it all the time in 4 but it rarely hit, which is why my play style now rarely involves counter because I adapted to not using it. I want to use it more tho cause it is pretty good now I’m just not used to it tho

Shulk countered an attack that had Inceneroar's revenge bonus attached to it. A revenge bonus which came from a Buster Forward smash. Still super nutty tho.
