The new GX drivetrains playing funny buggers though, the bike came with a bent hanger, which I straightened to a good position. Its vague in the middle, worst I’ve ever had from an Eagle drivetrain. I just would like to say, that damper isn’t the only difference between yari and lyrik. Lyrik has also lighter and stiffer crown which is convenient for enduro riding. Just keep that in mind... I thing it’s better choice to upgrade whole fork than just a damper which is not particulary cheap upgrade. You can try, but yari is never gonna perform same as lyrik... that’s why you have 2 different names - yari and lyrik

      Torque 6 was on my list but I deleted it due to no water bottle, 27.5 inch, too much waiting list and quality issues, A/S not easy in my opinion. If there was a Spectral 29er Al with fox suspension around 3000 Euros, I would go for it.

      Hey man another great video 👍
      Just a couple questions...
      I've pretty much decided on my new bike which I'm about to order but I just wanted a couple of opinions..so in your opinion is there an enduro out there that is 'better value' than the '21 Siskiu N9? I just can't seem to find anything that comes close around that price for what you get.
      Second..how will I know that you'll definitely see the benefits when I buy through your affiliate link!? And do you get help for everything we buy through the link or just certain things?
      Cheers 🙌

    I really like that Nukeproof Mega Comp; I think it's my overall favourite sub-$5K bike. I wasn't particularly impressed by the Reactor Comp, as there are better specified bikes, with similar geometry, for less money (especially since Polygon updated the geometry of the Siskiu T7/8). Considering that Enduro bikes tend to cost more than equivalently specified trail bikes, that Nukeproof offers the Mega for the same price as the Reactor is very welcome.
    While the Comp still isn't the best spec-to-price bike here (I think Polygon still wins that one again, the N9 has awesome spec for only AU$300 more than the Mega Comp; shame the geo sucks), the Mega's very impressive geometry, coupled with the excellent upgradability of the fork and drivetrain as you mentioned, make it very compelling to me.
    I must admit I was a little disappointed to see a Select R instead of Select+ (lockout) rear shock, but the reviews I've seen/read of the 2021 Mega (including a review of the Comp) praised its climbing ability, so apparently it's not an issue.

      @trailtalkmtb6603  Před 3 lety +1

      @@trailtalkmtb6603 If I was going to spend more than the Mega Comp I'd probably try and snag a Privateer 161, but I do really like the 2021 Mega lineup in general, and the Comp definitely has one of the better "upgrade paths" of any of the bikes here.
      Actually, the Mega 290 Carbon Factory is my money-no-object dream bike (although I'm not a fan of the colour; thats what frame wrap is for), but those kind of wishes never tend to come true, at least for me (I'm not even in the finiancial position to consider the alloy Comp at the moment, let alone a carbon Factory).
