And every time I literally break in tears. Your work is simply sensational guys. Extremely thankful for such beautiful peace of art.
God, every single version is good and perfect on its way, but this one specifically just blow my mind. 🤯😍 the most perfect and beautiful performance that I’ve ever heard or seen. Whether live or on TV/internet, it is incredible that something like this could be thought of, composed and executed by human beings. Undoubtedly, we are an incredible species capable of creating masterpieces that visually and auditory are a pleasure to be able to enjoy.
This is just as, if not more, beautiful than watching the dancers on the stage! Filharmonia Narodowa, you are all extremely talented, beautiful musicians!! Playing in an orchestra is a challenge. However, each one of you make it look easy. Thank you for the gift of this incredible concert!!! This is something to be enjoyed for years to come. BRAVO!!!!!!
Ordinary adjectives are almost cliches when trying to verbally react to so much compressed beauty. It has the ability transport one to another level of emotion, which, I know we all agree is the hallmark of music of high quality.
The "Waltz of the Flowers" might be the most popular section of the Nutcracker" but musically it is totally eclipsed by the "Pas de Deux" one of Tchaikovsky's most inspired compositions.
I'm so glad I got to see the trumpet player get some action during the Spanish dance and the Celesta player during the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy:Coda (something very hard to find!!). It is actually a rarity for these cameramen!
The interpretation of the "Grand Pas de Deux" is just lovely. Maybe a tiny bit slow, but it is such a masterpiece of music, and I like it so much.... Bravissimi!!!!!!

A superb live performance! This is it! I can hardly hold back my excitement and must share it with the broad audience out there. If you are looking for the sheer beauty and power of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" ballet music (absent the dancers that could sometimes be distracting), choose this Act II music, and especially this performance by the Warsaw Phil under Maestro Kaspszyk. Not only will you, your entire family, particularly the children, enjoy the well-beloved character dances ("Chocolate": Spanish Dance; "Coffee": Arabian Dance; "Tea": Chinese Dance; "Trepak": Russian Dance; etc.), but also be "wow"'ed by the the gorgeous "Waltz of the Flowers" that seems to be made even more brilliant by the outstanding sonority of the horn section of the Warsaw Phil. Be sure not to miss any note when the "Pas de deux" section opens, with two beautiful ladies of the Warsaw Phil plucking the golden harp duo and the oboe comes in with its slightly plaintive solo (yes, the heroine, Clara, has moments of "melancholy" or "disappointments" and these moments can be beautiful in music). Apparently, the audience appreciated the performance as shown by their rhythmic clapping, which was rewarded by an encore repeat of the Russian Dance at the end of the concert. (I'm writing this comment from Los Angeles, California, a few days before Christmas 2021 and anticipate many happy online returns of this live performance for years to come.) Thank you, members of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the conductor, and all others who contributed to this wonderful achievement, including the sound engineers, lighting, video crew, and even stagehands!

Cudownie, że został wrzucony ten film z komcertu. Byłem na dwóch, a widząc to nagranie aż łzy pociekły po policzku wspominając te dwa wspaniałe wieczory. Dodam, że 4 dni później w teatrze wielkim już na całym balecie, uznałem, że muzycznie w FN było lepiej! Brawo, brawo, brawo!
O walorach muzycznych było. Warto podkreślić świetną robotę realizatora transmisji, obraz jest w znakomitej synergii z muzyką. A że nie jest to takie oczywiste, to proszę choćby porównać transmisję z koncertu noworocznego z Wiednia np. z tego roku. Jeszcze krótko nawiążę do uwagi "w FN było lepiej". Tak powinno być; te sale kiedyś były budowane tak, aby dźwięk cieszył ucho. Dziwnym zrządzeniem losu sale cieszące się największą estymą muzyków: złota sala wiedeńskiego towarzystwa muzycznego, bostoński symphony hall, muziekgebeuw w amsterdamie, berliński konzerthaus, mają kształt przypominający pudełko na buty. Podobny kształt ma i FN; czy to wystarcza nie wiem, ale wygląda na to, że nie szkodzi.

I usually watch full ballets but like today just listening to ballet music and came across this Nutcracker, so beautifully played, so magical... I can picture every movement of the ballet with each part of the music, makes my imagination dance :)

The Warsaw Philharmonic has always been overshadowed by the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics but it's one of the World's great orchestras without a doubt.
