Great song, I have loved it since it came out in 1967. I have never seen "The"Big Lebowski".
In my opinion, it's one of the best movie ever made, but well , it's just my opinion man.
I thought the movie sucked, but it does have a lot of great one-liners in it. Anyone remember the opening and closing monologs with Sam Elliot? Or the pool scene at the mansion: "Where's the nearest ATM?" Or the fight with the wanna-be punker hoodlums in the parking lot outside the bowling alley that's partially shown in this montage? (one of them was Flea from the RHCP).

According to Jeff Bridges, when they filmed the scene where his body is sliding down the bowling alley under the legs of the ladies, the ladies had got together and decided that NONE of them were going to wear underwear for that scene, AND they weren't going to, ahem, groom, ~anything~. So Jeff said that when he was sliding underneath it was one of the most horrifying shocks of his life, because of course none of them had told him what was coming, and he couldn't react other than to try to put on the best face he could and try to get through it.

@@danschofield6345 it’s a great dark crime comedy. The Big Lebowski is like the Los Angeles version of The Ice Harvest with John Cusack, Billy Bob Thornton and Oliver Platt. Another good dark crime comedy I recommend is The Matador, it’s kind of like Sideways with guns
