I have mine since march 2020 and it runs fantastic.
Idk if you‘re in europe because of the OPF. Mine has one and after 16k km it sounds louder than with 0 km.
Btw if you turn it to sport + and drive 80 km/h, try staying in 3rd gear and leave your foot of the gas at 4000-4300 rpm. You will hear a lot of bangs ;)

Idk if this is the smaller brother of the AMG GT 63S , cause the 63S is a V8, but everything else appears to be the same, interior wise, and exterior. I haven’t seen any GT 53 in Canada as of yet; but would for sure be better due to gas prices lol
Yes this is the smaller brother! Smaller engine with a small electric motor meaning better fuel economy whilst still having above moderate performance. You do miss the roar and performance of that V8 engine though

I thought the GT53 had V8? Is it different in SA?
No we only get the inline 6 cylinder engine on the GT53 in SA. Only the GT 63 comes with the V8 engine.
It has technology called EQ-Boost. Which is better than V8 and this technology eliminates nags that are generally seen in V8.
