Glad Coach set the record straight. I had been saying this very thing. My only concern with some of these guys was the "way" they were leaving. You giving this man your butt to kiss on you way out the door not knowing his arm stretch wide in the NFL world. You would think they would want to keep a good repour with him for future reference. But immaturity and ignorance (ignorance = to the game of relationships and how NFL works) caused them to burn bridges. It may hurt them in the long run.
I would tell these players "The world is already dark enough. No need to throw shade. Let's bring some light." That starts with honest communication. Talk it out and work it through. Burning a bridge only isolates you. The grass ain't greener, it's just green.
I hope this kids and handlers read between the line. 🤷🏾♂️.. You can move on to a different program that’s fine but don’t burn down the bridge you once cross on your way out. Life in general is about whom you know . Be a man live in in a decent term , don’t need to take shots.

Facts!!! It's the Questions they ask like leaving a Job and the Company can't really say why You left or Why they let You go. The ultimate question no one seems to get or understand is "Would said Company or Supervisor hire You back"? It's always best to leave in silence and move on Respectfully.

They might think these other Coaches against Coach Prime but at the end of the day they also know His pull in the big leagues.

Don't they see the sheer volume of players stuck in that portal - I guess they think it won't happen to them? CP has said multiple times that he wished the players would come to the coaches first to get help with finding another college team. Don't hit that portal without a plan/future home already known! It is heartbreaking to see because behind those numbers are some players who are leaving a scholarship situation without another scholarship to replace it.

Scrutiny comes with being an athlete, EVERY single athlete on that roster is going be evaluated at some point. As a player, you do need to be receptive and open to the coaches perspectives because that's their job, thats what their here to do.

If you get players out the portal with 3 or 4 years availability which most of the players have it is still building for the future. Most kids don't start as true freshman anyway. Most hs recruits don't see the field year 1 so we good

He's mainly getting players that have one and two years left and graduate students, players that weren't seeing the field that much at their previous school. That was last year… this year he’s got a bunch of HS players/3yr remaining and a few 1/graduate players. Nobody is recruiting a team full of HS players when every team wants to win now and not 3/4 years down the line.
