Still 30 fps is crazy they need to update it

i got to say 30 fps doesnt feel bad at all in this game... the one x version of this game is stunning for this hardware
For a game like this does it really matter?
Rockstar will make it 4K 60 fps and sell it for $60 as a remaster.
It won’t be a patch unfortunately.
Maybe they’ll create the expanded and enhanced version of it for PS6 and Xbox whatever for the 10 year anniversary
This game look's like a game launch on this year, it's insane. Only need's 60 fps for perfection. ❤
It would benefit from graphical updates but very minor ones.
If you played at 120 fps for a day then try Rdr2 at 30 you'd know why the most heart breaking it is to have the great games get left behind.
So essentially i bought a kick ass TV for playstation exclusives I didnt and wouldnt buy 🤣

This had me hype thinking 60 fps was finally here, but nope.
You can bet yer ass that rockstar will be saving 60fps for an eventual official current-gen release and charge you a minimum of 50 bucks for it.

How is this game nearly 6 years old... looks better than most of todays games, which still only run at 30fps most of the time in 4K on consoles.

After looking at the new PS5 game 'Rise of The Ronin', I'd like to wash my eyes off with Red Dead Redemption 2.
Rockstar totally abandoned this game truthfully if you ask me it's a little bit better than Grand Theft Auto V but I love my Grand Theft Auto V online but if Rockstar never abandon this game and did all the DLCs this game with been the best I like about Red Dead is the double gun action
Subbed. Just repurchased this so I can play it on my series x. Finishing up rdr1 now and going right into this. Played rdr2 on ps4 back when it came out in 2018
The series X version of this game is still (looks wise) the best way to play this game, I don't know what they did with this version but it looks absolutely incredible, I have a decent PC also and can never seem to tweek it in just the right way to produce a similar looking result

I always slept on this game because of the 30 FPS, but it's not even bad at 30. I've played games that feel way worse at that FPS. Yes, switching to 60 on other games DOES feel snappier but you get used to the 30 and this is just a wonderful title to burn through with hours and hours of good gaming. I wouldn't let the 30 get in the way for anyone on the fence. It feels a bit slow when you pick it up, but you adjust and the way they handle motion blur seems to really help with it as well. I'm only like 15% through the story so have a long way to go but the game is fun and beautiful and really feels like you are in a world. I'm going to re-focus on pushing further into this title. Well worth it.

PS5 needs more than the 60 fps patch, it needs the 4K patch the Xbox got
A smooth 30fps with this level of beauty, I'll take that everytime everyday.
Whilst it’s fine, it should be 60. These consoles can run it at 60 flawlessly, just needs a patch to uncap it.

I am going for an XBOX series X for the sole purpose of native 4K. What should I look for in the version of RDR2 for this platform. I am a newbie in gaming... have not not played in 20 years. Thanks for any help.

30FPS is fine. You get used to it fairly quick. The game looks so good that you can forgive the lack of 60fps option

I wonder if the new FSR works on PS5 to improve the graphics slightly.…. 🤔 I have this game on both PS5 and my XSX, and it's practically unplayable for me on PS5 - The checkerboard resolution on PS5 makes it so blurry and for me, that's distracting .It's absolutely gorgeous on Series X in native 4K and a locked 30fps - by far the best version currently on console.
I have this on PS5 and SeriesX, I prefer paying games on my PS5 but this is one game I like the Xbox version best. The graphics are a lot better on it, just want a 60fps version 🤞although it’s the only game I’m happy to play at 30 nowadays

Can you let me know what xbox series x setting you use? Like 8,10 or 12 bit color? Also do you enable YCC 442? Appreciate it.
Depends on the screen I am using. So it would make no sense to share my screen settings because almost everyone uses a different screen.

I used to have this on ps5 and used to think it looked great but then i got it on series x and omg the difference is night and day
It's because it's native 3840x2160p running from the code of xboxone-x.
And PS5 was running in legacy PS4 pro mode at a weird resolution of 1920x2160p..
Because of the lower powered GPU compared to Xboxone-x..

Your tv can support 60fps on standard image mode, but if you turned game mode on then your fps will drop to 50 or less, so make sure your game mode is turned off and standard mode on on your tv❤.
Rockstar are absolute wizards when they're firing on all cylinders. Red dead looked phenomenal on 2013 hardware so imagine what they can do with GTA VI

As someone who cares a lot for frame rate while replaying this 30fps is perfectly great. However 60 would be massively appreciated from playing RDR1 at 60.
To clarify, does this game run exactly the same on the One X?
No, loading times and stability are better on SX

@@cun7us The updates mostly apply to Online not single-player. Also let's not kid ourselves, R* will never release a free 60fps patch. They will re-release the game with 60 fps at an additional cost.
@@medalgearsalad1419 unfortunately, I think you're right. They did that with RDR1 so likely will do the same with this one. Still, at least we'll have the chance to play it at 60fps even if we have to pay for it.

When I'm playing RDR2 I always think why can't other developers make games this good. Even when raining, water will run off the edge of porches , roofs etc like it would in real life. Rockstar takes pride in their work.
If you need to relax, go to RDO and do treasure hunting for Madame Nazar.

I did it looks gorgeous on my pc with everything on ultra and 60+ fps 😊 but that's a 3000,- dollar device, so for a 500 dollar device I would say it looks gorgeous on the SX to 😊

Remember when Microsoft lied to us about gaming in 4k at 120fps? I get it, they didn't publish this game but please name me a game that plays in native 4k at 120fps that is an actual 3d game(not something like Ori that could run on an iphone)

The series x plays the Xbox one x version so it’s 4k 30fps on the series s it’s the Xbox one version so it’s 900p 30fps.

Textures look awful even on the Ultra Setting, every texture aside from ground textures look bad, lighting & physics are great but anything else looks like garbage since release. That and the awful Anti-Aliasing the game has, vegetation will look either blurry or oversharpenned no matter what, with or without DLSS & FSR.

I still keep my Xbox Series X in the box. I use Xbox One X because most games look identical. Only frames are the thing. It looks like backwards compatible games. I play on 27 inches monitor 1440p. I do not know why but It looks like devs don't use true Xbox Series X potential yet. The console is 4 times more powerful than Xbox One X. "We're seeing more than 40 times performance increase over the last generation" = that's what they said in "Project Scarlett". We still don't see it. Gonna be good.

You mean Xbox Series X. Games like LIES OF P can be played on Xbox One X at 50fps and 1080p. My new one is waiting for truly looking next gen games: State Of Decay 3, ROUTINE, HELLBLADE 2, OD, Project MARA, next FORZA, PERFECT DARK and more. .
