I had one of these back in the days, it was unbreakable, drove like a kart!. I loved driving it, i still miss this car up to this day, even though i bought a dozen of cars after this one but i did not have the same feeling driving the SS GTI.
I'm definitely going to get one of these someday. I discovered this car like maybe a month ago, and felt in love with it. I'm currently at my first car, a Peugeot 107. It's been like 3 years with it and it being that small and light (780kg) makes it really fun to go and drive. But you know, only barely 70hp, nothing super crazy. I was looking for a good old school small car and this Suzuki, being a GTi, really seduced me
GTI, máquina infernal. Tive o 1.3 sedan, carburador, e já era bem nervoso. Fiz mais de 300k sem nenhuns problemas. Dos carros que tive foi o que mais me surpreendeu. Fiquei fã da suzuki.
After 5th gear i only got room for a couple more seconds, so around 200 mark. Very light car, if the engine is correctly tuned and with good compression, it runs very well for a 30year old 1.3l engine Thanks for stopping by 😀

@@keletech5266 unfortunately most suzuki forums i knew are now down, so i cant really help you with that. Only g13b 101hp has the crank and rods forged, all the others g13 arent forged, they are still good and reliable engines, just dont expect them to rev as safely as this one
Why are you so mad? Got beaten by one? Even though what you said isn't true, by any means. This is just a stock 1.3l engine from 30years ago, never rebuilt. You can always come by and comment once you learn a couple things about cars, have a nice day

And even comparing to the cars at the time, not many did 0-100 in under 9 seconds. 30 years ago this car had 101 to 115hp (depending on the version) bullet proof engine, came with 4 wheel disc brakes, rear independent suspension, AC, power steering, bucket seats, electric windows and mirrors and in some markets even 4WD. Just because it doesn't compete with today's technology and turbo engines it didn't deserve to be called GTi? 0 sense but whatever. That's like saying an F40 is a bad car just because a 70.000 dollar Nissan beats it

Já passaram uns 5 suzukis cá por casa, o mais recente avariou uma bobine das velas depois de lavar o motor, de resto 0, fiabilidade excepcional

If I buy this engine and put it in my old suzuki splash, would it need a different ECU to acceed 8000RPMs?
Oem ecu does almost that, with chip you can get 8300, 8600 or 9300 rpm
