It's 2020, we're in the middle of a pandemic and I finally decided to give in and buy and play Diablo 3 for the first time, this guide came in absolutely clutch. Thank you so much for the hard work
I literally have owned this game for years and played it for numerous hours I still found this really helpful and useful. Although, it is a little intimidating with all of the stuff I didn't know/understand when I thought I did. Hell I didn't even know that you could save your outfits! Lmao
Thank you for your kind words my Friend! Im glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! Yes you can totally save your sets! More time to run those Rifts! Im here if you need anything! Ill be sure to make more Diablo videos for you!

11:40 So, true! I started playing Diablo 3 in 2019 around October and stopped because I was playing offline and leveling up was slow and tedious. Came back on March because of COVID-19 Quarantine and went back frinding up to level 65 for my Necromancer and 55 for my Seasonal Crusador. I have not ever stopped since then. I put as much as 2 hours playing it and 3 times a week. I am almost to level 70!
I played last year for a while & still didn’t really understand Rifts and Adventure Mode. I’m getting back into it & you made it so much easier to understand than all the other CZcams videos on Diablo 3. Thanks man.
I love how you help people in comments. An example to follow - like a Deckard Cain resurrected! Most people will just post videos and they don't care anymore, but you genuinely want to help. I wish you all the best, mate :)
Greatest tip this vid missed for new players. 1 to 70 is super easy. Do the max difficulty you can. Dont worry. You will be fine. Level faster and better starting loot for 70.
Damn, max difficulty I can do is "Hard" mode, and it's so easy you can stand still in any fight holding X and will never die. Any time you get hit HP just refills almost instantly. Even boss fights!
Former Marvel Heroes player here, picked up diablo for the switch because marvel heroes players ALWAYS complained in every patch note that the game was becoming a diablo clone, after watching some gameplay here, not only I can see why everyone complained but also regret not getting the pc version instead
Finally bought the game after years of being curious about Diablo games. I have to say that your enthusiasm for the game is quite infectious! I can't wait to finish the campaign and get to post game content.
Excellent video, great commentary. Thank you, im starting from scratch.. coming back to it after many years, i never got far. You explain everything very well to where i can understand. This will help.
Haha....omg....you’re awesome! I’ve been playing Diablo for about 6 months. Last night I tried to “explain” the game to my friend who is still seasonal level 36. He’s not as enthusiastic a player as I am. Anyhow, I was trying to explain that I found out about Set Dungeons for the Wizard (Firebird) in “Challenges”. I have stayed away from this area until I could grasp the game a bit better with all of it’s spectacularness. Overwhelmed. Anyhow, I’m now at paragon level 472 and felt I was ready for more. So I’m looking at “Challenges” and find the Heading “Set Dungeons”. I have the firebird gear set (6), so I needed to find the Tome of SET Dungeons to locate my dungeon.....haha....even this is way too long winded, and difficult to describe. All for a new pair of wings! You do a great job! Subscribed..
I played on the xbox 360 maybe 4-5 years ago and completely forgot about the game but i was bored during quarantine and decided to buy it again i’ve been grinding with one of my friends and have gotten to act 3 in just two days on expert difficulty
As someone who played DIablo 2 at a younger age and took a break from the franchise for over 10 years, I've been eager to get back into the series. Been playing a ton of FPS 'looters' like Destiny, The Division, and Borderlands, and I saw this come up on sale and thought I'd give it a try. Thanks for putting together this awesome guide, I've had an awesome time so far just running a non-seasonal campaign to get back into the game and I'm excited to create a seasonal character now and hit the end game. It's super motivating to see your passion for this game translates into your content, keep it up man!
I just recently got diablo and have only played like 3 hours of it so far. Thanks for the help I found this video very good compared to the others I have seen
Jeez you deserve more subs. I was expecting to see more, after watching the quality of this (not meaning that ~9k is bad, that's still work) and sucks when bullshit low quality channels are in the millions and don't even give or deserve two shits
Im going to get this on switch, i played a few hours on pc back when it came out but never really played or finished it, thanks for hyping me up again lol
Started playing this a few days ago and I was just confused. I started a Monk, but I might go ahead and change it to a different character. Thanks for the guide.
You make very good points my friend. To be honest, I actually remade this very video. I decided to make a second version that is very focused and on point. I link it at the start of this video and below for you. If you want to check it out, I would love to hear your feedback on it. I know this video is long and I do go on and on. I hope the new version is more to your liking! Diablo love is real!
I just bought this game today from my phone to my Switch. I can't wait for work to be over. For some reason I never started with Diablo sooner. I like this kind of play style. I played MU in pc growing up and there are many similarities with Diablo. Can't wait!
Just bought the game about 3 days ago and already lvl 30 on this quarantine, gotta day worth it, only bought reaper of souls but damn this games something worth a while
Hey scrappy, when you choose what level you're playing does that mean you'll get better set drops ? I'm playing on hard and have noticed that I haven't been getting any more set drops when completing the challenges on adventure mode. Do I need to increase my difficulty level?
Hey Sorry I missed this comment Mike. Yea increasing difficulty will yield better rewards but its all about efficiency. Best way to level up is to run the levels on the best difficulty you can be most efficient at. Hope that makes sense.
Wow...as a beginner most of that video was way beyond my understanding. I have automatically shelved it for a rainy day. Great information though, I will be sure to come back at a later date.
I bought the game today. Could you believe a 50% deal on Switch just dropped today? We were just talking about it yesterday. It’s a sign. Had to buy it.
So as a first time player I should start as a seasonal 🤔 🙄 damn I'm glad I watched this because I have to start over. I just beat the skeleton king so idk how far I am in the game
Great vid. Love the enthusiasm. Just wish ONE person in ANY video about Diablo 3 would say literally 10 words describing the campaign. I've searched dozens of videos for hours and there has been about 20 seconds of info describing the campaign in all of them combined. I don't wanna pull the trigger on 60 bucks if the campaign sucks. HELP!!!!!
Hi, loved this video. This might be a dumb question but I have a switch lite and really no friends to play this game with. Can I do all of what you mentioned in this video in single player mode offline? Or do I have to play this game online? I am really confused. Thank you. Also if I can play offline is it much harder to level up and grind? Why would multiplayer be better for this game?(if it is). And lastly if I don't have any gamer friends and want to play by myself the whole time will it still be as fun? I have just heard that you need to play online to really enjoy the game and I hope that isn't true.
Hello Michael! Thanks for your kind words! Im glad you enjoyed the video! You do not have to play with anyone. You can enjoy the game in single player mode by yourself! :) Hope this helped!
Rarely sub and never comment on youtube videos but I am definitely doing it today because this guide is incredible and you seem like a really awesome helpful dude. P.S. Diablo 3 is awesome!
Off topic but anyone else get an ad for a website buying and selling clash of clans accounts? hahah youtubes just promoting anything these day huh. Good vid btw very helpfull lol
very informative, you convey a sense of fun with this video, you give a novice player a good scope of the game. I would have mentioned that gems cost a lot of money to craft...hehe
The music is too loud and distracting. For many people with hearing loss the voice and the loud music become one big noise and we cant hear either of them clearly.
Thanks so much for letting me know. I never thought about that one. My new videos have the background music much much lower. From now on, I will keep this in mind. Thanks for letting me know.
I have a clarification question. Do you first beat the game (to level 70?) in campaign then start playing adventure in seasons. Or should you beat the game for the first time while playing seasons?
Hi Mark, you should beat the game in campaign (if its your first time playing Diablo). You can do it while creating a seasonal Character. If its your second go and you dont want the story, you can start in adventure more.
@@TomSundayGames Thank you for the clarification! I'm getting D3 for the kids for Christmas...but your videos are making me reminisce how much fun I had playing D2 20 years ago. I suspect I will need to start playing too ;)
Thanks for creating an actual beginner's guide. So many of the guides out there are definitely not for beginners. You are a great teacher, love your teaching style. Keep it up!
I have a very specific and possibly stupid question regarding seasons. I'm about to start playing Diablo 3, since the game is now on season 21, do the season specific quests go away after the season ends? What I'm trying to figure out is this, since I'm starting out on season 21, are all the quests and loot that were introduced in previous seasons unavailable for me to accomplish/get? An answer would be insanely helpful. I'm a bit of a type A person and kinda hate if a fuck ton of content is no longer available to me since I've started this late. Thanks, man.
If you are new to Diablo 3, here is some information that may save you some time...and some tears: I know this is a dated thread, but I have found another way to duplicate items that does not require any other players. It does, however, require that you set up a second account on your PS3. This may also work on PS4 and XBOX. You have a main PS account that you play Diablo 3 through. Create another account on your console. This second account must be set up with a different name and email address from your primary account. Also, put a USB storage device into the second controller plug on the front of your console. Access the "Saved Data Utility" on your consule (Yes, you must Quit the game to access the save data). Find your most recent save data and press the Triangle (if playing on PS) and select the option to Copy the data. Scroll to copy the data to your USB Device. Yay, step one is complete. Next, you set up a "dialogue" between your two accounts. Go to the "Friends" column on your consule and select "Add a Friend". Enter the account name on your second account and send a Friend Request. Go back to your other account and you should see that you have a Friend Request. Accept the request and now your two accounts can send messages to each other...and items...and gold. Now, log back into your second account and go to Saved Data Utility. Click on the USB Device selection to access the game data. Again, press the Triangle button to open the activities list and select Copy. This will allow you to copy your most recent data to your second account. If you already have game data on the second account, it will ask if you are sure you want to overwrite the data. Yes, we do. ***Backing up your game data is also a great idea so that if you lose a Hadrcore character, guess what? You can reload from the USB game data and all you lost was the time you spent playing since the last time you saved to your USB Device and any items you had obtained. So backup your game data routinely. I lost a trio of Witch Doctors that had a full set of Zunimassa's gear and a Fulminating sword and combined 233 hours of gameplay (R.I.P., Bad_Madyssin, Karna Vore and Juggular)*** Next, open the Diablo 3 game using your second account. You will get a prompt reminding you that this game data came from a different account and will not help unlock trophies. No problem. Enter the game and pull up the character holding items you want to duplicate. Make sure the items are not equipped. Go to the mailbox found in the town the character is in, wherever Tyrael is hanging out. Open the mailbox and select "Create Mail". Now you should see your other account as an option. Select the account and now your inventory will show all the non-equipped items that you can send, which also includes "Add Gold". Important: you can only send items from Hardcore characters to your other Hardcore characters and same for Standard characters. Here is the beauty of this setup: You can now send items from your backup account to your primary account, then exit the game, go back to the Saved Data Utility and recopy your game data to the backup acount and send those same items to your primary account over and over. I have also used this setup to modify a magic item that required numerous attempts in Myriam's shop before I got the attribute I wanted, like +100% Critical Hit Damage on an amulet. I can also use my backup account when I have 400+ blood shards and cash them in with Kadala, send what is useful to my primary account, then reload the game data so I have another 400+ blood shards to blow on her. I have gotten some of my set items completed this way. Yes, it took a long time, but it was worth it. I have also duplicated the parts needed to create Hellfire rings, so I no longer have to beat up Keywardens or defeat Megabosses for more dropped pieces. All you need is one of each part then duplicate over and over. I have also used this setup to create an item in Haedrig's shop over and over until it had the attributes I desired, mail that item to my primary account, then reload to refresh my parts needed for creating items. Yes, this takes time, but Blizzard preys on us as being OCD. That is why they list all those challenges for us to complete. So, right now, I have over 43 billion in gold, 99 of each type of dye, 1000 of each type of gem I use, 1000 of each type of ingredient needed to upgrade an item. I have Set or Legendary items that are shared between character classes who benefit from the same attribute: INT for both Witch Doctor and Wizard, STR for both Crusader and Barbarian, DEX for both Demon Hunter and Monk. This still doesn't take away from the fact that some items will only seem to be obtained by grinding out Bounties and Nephalem Rifts and you still have to put gametime into completing all those challenges.
Just started playing diablo 3, I have to say that the fringe for lvl 70 isn't that bad. I have about 3-4hrs of play time and I'm lvl 42 already. But I feel like I need to do a season character, before the season is over.
Rookie question: I assume you can not start a normal campaign character. Level that character to 70 and or beat the campaign. Then with that same character. Start season? I assume no. That it has to be season first? If so.. I messed up my first character "sorta". He is already lvl 70 from campaign. With no season play through.
You are correct. You cant go from regular to seasonal. You can however do it the other way. Seasonal will become a regular Character. Its why, for me, it always makes sense to start a seasonal one. No worries. You can start another one and do your season stuff. Or, there is always S23!
I’ve just got the game, I got my demon hunter to lvl 65 but kinda want to setup a new class but don’t want to go through the campaign again, is there anyone out there that can power level me?
Brad have you tried in game clans and communities? You can find lots of people to help powerlevel you. If you still cant find someone to do it, please come to my discord and we can play sometime. I will help!

Thanks for your kind words my Friend! I do see those ads. Someone should let Supercell know!
I would have come back to D3 if it had character customization.
I just bought this game and ive never played any game like this, what do i do lol? should i not play this week cuz of new season?
You should absolutely play it. I would start a new season character when the season starts! :)
My wife got me this game its badass idk what I am doing tho but for now I love it n my ps4 is still alive
Omg thank you I was Soo lost 😂🤣😂 I needed this video big time
You are most welcome my Friend! Im glad it helped!
very informative, you convey a sense of fun with this video, you give a novice player a good scope of the game. I would have mentioned that gems cost a lot of money to craft...hehe
Great point! I should mention the gems. I do plan on making a full guide on that. Thanks for your warm words my Friend!
Yo I love this , great effort man 👍🏼
The music is too loud and distracting. For many people with hearing loss the voice and the loud music become one big noise and we cant hear either of them clearly.
Thanks so much for letting me know. I never thought about that one. My new videos have the background music much much lower. From now on, I will keep this in mind. Thanks for letting me know.
I love your music! May I ask where you found it and is it copy free. Twitch is giving streamers he'll lately. Awesome! And thank you for guide

also any recommendations of setting up controls on PS4? Settings we should have on or have off when starting for the first time?
I only play this one on PC my Friend! I dont have a PS4 :D
Same doubt over here. Any channel or info page about the game on console?
gonna start playing this game to kill some time and keep occupied during this virus outbreak
Great video i love the way u explain things thanks
I have a clarification question. Do you first beat the game (to level 70?) in campaign then start playing adventure in seasons. Or should you beat the game for the first time while playing seasons?
Hi Mark, you should beat the game in campaign (if its your first time playing Diablo). You can do it while creating a seasonal Character. If its your second go and you dont want the story, you can start in adventure more.
@@TomSundayGames Thank you for the clarification! I'm getting D3 for the kids for Christmas...but your videos are making me reminisce how much fun I had playing D2 20 years ago. I suspect I will need to start playing too ;)
@@marky6837 That is great to hear Mark! Have you heard of Diablo Immortal?
thank you so much such an awesome tutorial!
Thanks for creating an actual beginner's guide. So many of the guides out there are definitely not for beginners. You are a great teacher, love your teaching style. Keep it up!
Thank you for your kind words Seth! Im so glad you found the guide helpful! I'll continue to work hard! Thanks for your support!
If you are new to Diablo 3, here is some information that may save you some time...and some tears:
I know this is a dated thread, but I have found another way to duplicate items that does not require any other players.
I lost a trio of Witch Doctors that had a full set of Zunimassa's gear and a Fulminating sword and combined 233 hours of gameplay (R.I.P., Bad_Madyssin, Karna Vore and Juggular)***
Next, open the Diablo 3 game using your second account.
I'm hopping back into diablo 3 after years of playing diablo 2. Thanks for the refreshing me!
which system are you on

Welcome to the Channel my Friend! Thank you for your support!
awesome video, bought the game yesterday just downloaded it today. am excited
what class is your buddy?
Good luck with it! I am playing as a Barbarian here!
You made this game sound so fun I'm getting it
Just started playing diablo 3, I have to say that the fringe for lvl 70 isn't that bad.
I have about 3-4hrs of play time and I'm lvl 42 already. But I feel like I need to do a season character, before the season is over.
Don't you guys have phones? Seriously though great vid, subscribed. Been playing on switch non stop
Welcome to our Family my Friend! Appreciate your kind words!
I will help!
are you on pc?
Im currently downloading the game :)
BisPro how ya finding it
