I really love your songwriting. This song makes me think of the feeling of depression that comes with being betrayed by someone you truly trusted and cared about. It's definitely a hard feeling to get through. I don't know why it's after the betrayal when I felt like I needed that person the most, but at that point the situation was out of my control. From that point on, it's this feeling of hurt and the fear of what the next chapter of your life might bring without them. Thank you for sharing this, it's really beautifully written.
